Chapter 14: CH-14
Morning soon came, as soon as Liam woke up he immediately went to the kitchen. It was six in the morning, and he was planning on waking up early to try and test the new skills that his new system has given him.
"Your awake sweetie?" Silvia looked at Liam. Most kids Liam's age wouldn't even leave bed since it's summer and they have all the time they need to rest and have fun.
Some teenagers wouldn't even leave their room and just sleep the whole day and this applies to the eight-year-old Liam as well.
When summer came Silvia would always see her son inside his bedroom. She would take a peek from time to time ensuring that he wasn't overusing his body.
She was being very careful with Liam due to what happened last time. Sometimes if Liam wasn't sleeping then he would be drawing.
"Good morning Mom" Liam wanted to make some coffee and test his new system, the Pastry-Beverages system, but sadly his mom was already awake drinking some coffee while sitting on the sofa.
"Good morning to you too sweetie." Silvia greeted Liam with a small smile, she thought about it and decided to ask her son. "Do you want to come with me this eight-o-clock I'm going grocery shopping. Maybe you want to come with mommy" Silvia said while sipping her coffee.
"Sure I also have some stuff I want to buy" Liam throttled his way back to his room feeling quite dejected, though he does feel happy that they are going grocery shopping this way he can buy some ingredients he needed.
Sipping her coffee and holding the newspaper in her hands, Silvia came across a small article on the paper. "The rise of a global phenomenon that would shake the entire world" Silvia muttered as she read the contents of the newspaper.

Brian was busy in his office, he already increased the 200,000 copies to 500,000 and then put in another batch of 300,000 copies of GOTG.
The sales kept on rising, he already made 2,005,010 this was already a huge hit, and not only that there are still some people who want to buy the copies.
GOTG was still the no.1 in demand but unlike what happened when the copies only had small numbers which caused a ruckus in many bookstores since the customers would fight for a copy of GOTG.
Now with the increase in copies of GOTG, the people have already calmed down. Their price was 50 cents, and well Brian made a lot of profits already.
"Sir Mr. Lockley has arrived" The female secretary said as she opened the door slightly, taking a peek at Brian who was sitting at his desk with a mountain of paperwork.
Unlike her usual beautiful appearance now she looked haggard with her messy makeup, her tangled hair tied into a bun, and huge eyebags beneath her eyes.
Due to the company's rise due to GOTG. She also had to work overtime, which caused her to look unlike her usual self due to her busy schedule the past couple of days.
She also met many people who wanted to interview Mr. Cowell and she was busy feigning them off.
Though she had a raise in her salary, still this was taking a toll on everybody who works at the agency. Though the work became less stressful due to the many recruits, still the past following weeks were hell for them.
"Let him come in a hurry!" Brian said as he tidied up his suit.
Though Jhon was already used to seeing Brian in his stressed state since these couple of days the agency worked their asses off.
As John walked into the office, he could see Brian opening one of the windows probably to let the smell of smoke out. John could see that the ashtray was full, due to Brian being stressed and taking a cig every hour.
There were some beer and a lot of paperwork on Brian's desk. Jhon came here to talk about the profits with Brian. John was planning to put the money into Liam's savings for the future of his son.
"Jhon come in! come in!" Brian greeted giving a small hug to Jhon.
"You look like you haven't had a good sleep for a week" Jhon said looking at the huge eyebags under Brian's eyes.
"Yeah well I had a lot of stuff to do, anyways please sit down" Brian said as they both sit down face to face with each other. The door opened and the female secretary walked in bringing some coffee.
"Please drink John" Brian said, as he stood up and busied himself looking for a certain document.
"Sure" Jhon took a sip of the coffee. When he came here, he could see that many of the workers were tired, and there were also new faces.
Jhon had two objectives when he came here, first was the distribution of profits since Liam told him to get the money, and second was the next superhero comic release Spider-Man.
"Here it is!" Brian took the paper and immediately opened it and showed it to John. "So the distribution of profits with you being 45 and me 55 anyways I'll leave it to my secretary to give you the exact cash"
Brian gladly would give the money to John. This would be an act of goodwill and a long relationship between John and Brian and the mysterious creator of GOTG.
Not only that if John decides to publish in another news agency then they would be sucked dry. Brian's company would fall apart, they were already in the lowest and were even barely known, but due to GOTG, they managed to rise 97 in the ranks of Newspaper Companies in Boston.
That is why for Brian maintaining a friendly relationship with John was needed for the future of his company.
"Sure" Jhon didn't have a problem with that. Jhon thought about the next objective of why he came here for. "And about that I want you to mass produce these new comics" Jhon handed a brown envelope to Brian.
Brian quickly took the brown envelope and opened it. When he opened the top he could see the familiar logo. He hurriedly but carefully pulled what was inside, and what greeted him was a beautiful cover page where a blue-stripped man was holding a white rope.
"Spider-Man..." Brian muttered as he looked at the cover and the title, he opened the comic and instantly started to read its content.
Jhon was still sipping his coffee while glancing at the excited and bewildered look on Brian's face.
John glanced at the immersed look on Brian's face. John couldn't help but smile as he remembered himself in the same position as Brian was, immersed and addicted to the story.
Jhon just drink his coffee in silence as he waited for Brian to snap out.
