Chapter 132: The Peculiar Village

"Get them," his voice was hoarse. Something was stuck in his throat that made the sound so gritty and full of hate. Was it anger? Maybe. Was it hate? Nobody knows. They only followed his command as their stretched-out hands and feet raced through the forest. 

The thundering sound of a thousand hooves sounded beneath the trees. Womenfolk with woven baskets on their heads and backs shuddered as they notice a thick puff of smoke from a distance. They all shouted as loud as they could and motioned for the children to flee.

"Get the children! Save the children!"

"Horses! Men Women and children on the horses! Do not carry anything anymore so you could escape!"

"Call the Empress! Anyone! Heavens help us!" Eyes stared at the clouds above as if their cries and screams would reach someone high up in the clouds. The old people pushed the women and children to hurry first.
