Chapter 2: The End Is Here
..The night was dark. Darker than any other night, as even the stars and moon could not be seen. There was a skirmish taking place within the castle walls. One could easily hear the clanging of metal on metal, and the screams of the newly departed.
..Outside the castle gates, muttering could be heard.
.."Do you hear that Joanns?"
.."Carter even a blind man could hear that noise."
.... "You mean deaf, right?"
..Red in the face, "Shut up.. You, you know what I meant. This isn't the time for your jokes. There is something going on right now, and if we aren't careful we could lose our heads."
.."I know.".. "I was just trying to lighten the mood. You are way to tense right now to even be able to save your own head."
..Breathing a heavy sigh, "You are right.".. "What do you suppose the battle is about? Is it some kind of invasion?"
.."I'm not sure, but it could be a coup attempt. The King hasn't been the same since he married Queen Catrina. He used to a kind and caring King, but now.".. "I mean he even increased the taxes, which is madness during times of famine.". "There are even rumors coming from the castle that he has even started treating the Princes and Princess poorly. I just don't think any of this is right."
.. Looking down with sadness. "That could be, however we shouldn't be talking about this. Especially this close to the castle."
.."Yeah, your right. Let's take our goods and go."

...Inside the castle...
..As the young soul begins to regain his senses, he feels some heavy pressure on his gut. There is also a sensation of him bobbing up and down, at a rigorous pace.
.."Ugh" Upon opening his eyes and looking up. He sees that he is being carried by a large man and asks, "What are you doing?"
.."Sorry your highness, but we are being chased.".. "Right now is not the best time to talk."
..Shaken by his response, 'Your highness?'.. 'Does that mean I am royalty?'
..Still being carried by the large man, they turned a corner to hide behind one of the pillars.
.."They went this way." An armored man shouted, while being followed by a small group of men, that were all dressed in the same armor as him.
..The large man had set him down while covering his mouth before the group had turned the corner, and he finally realized that the large man had on the same armor as the other men that had ran past.
.."If you don't tell me what is going on, I will just end up getting in the way."
..The man looked at the youth with sympathy. "Your highness.".. "I will find an empty room that is safe for us to talk in." With the chance that he had made earlier, the large man searched the hall to find an unused room.
..In the room the large man steals himself, getting ready to handle whatever the youths response may be. "Christopher, the king has issued a kill on sight order on all of his children."...
..Expecting a different response than the calm expression on Christopher's face, the large man continued, "Your brothers and sister are being escorted out of the castle by the other Knights who also decided to disobeyed the kings order.".. "We must get you out of here as soon as we can.".. "I may be a Knight of the Table, but even I will not be able handle all of the other knights trying to kill you."
With this, much needed information, Christopher now has a better understanding of the situation he is in. He now knows for sure he needs the system, that God had mentioned before to survive this chaos. He can't figure out how to access it though.
An idea suddenly popped into his head. 'If I can't figure it out the system, then why don't I ask it's creator?'
Christopher looked at the knight in front of him and begins to say. "This is a dire situation we are in, and I think we can use all the help we can get. I will pray for help, and perhaps God will help us get out of this mess."
The knight looked at Christopher confused. 'Why would you pray at a time like this? Does he not realize that every moment counts in times like these?'.. 'Uhg, fine. Whatever will make him more cooperative.' The knight thought, before saying, "Fine, but make it quick."
Christopher sits down. He is unsure about what will happen when he prays in this world. He then places his hands together, and finds himself back in The Realm Of Rest.
The only difference between this time and the last time is that he can see his body, after all his hands are together infront of himself.
Christopher, 'I guess this means I'm not dead. For a second I thought I died again. Either that or the knight nocked me out. I would understand if he did. It would make it easier to get me out of the castle alive. After all I am fully aware it was weird of me to ask to pray, in that situation. But I needed answers, and there's only one way I know how to get them.'.. 'Without blowing my cover.'
"God, I could really use your help." Christopher said, with a self defeated tone.
"You called?" God says suddenly appearing infront of Christopher.
God, "I take it you need my help figuring out your system."
Christopher nods yes before saying, "I thought I would have time to figure it out on my own. It was quite the surprise waking up to a man carrying me.".. "It was even more surprising learning we were running for our lives. I do want to ask about the system, but the first thing I should ask is, does this place work the same way it did last time?"
God nods his head before replying, "Yes. No time passes on the outside while you are in here. It will simply appear as if you sat down, put your hands together and then got up right after."
"Good." Christopher says. "Is this how all of my prayers will be from now on?"
God, "No. You were under special circumstances, and we needed time that you just didn't have. You will normally only be able to come hear every time you sleep. But when you pray from now on I will respond directly to you mind."
