Chapter 141: Chapter 141: Sirin and Hare

In Nagazora City, everything settled down, and Chase followed the main force back to the World Serpent's base.

No one would have expected that amidst the layered mountains, dense forests, and overgrown grasslands, the underground would be the base of the World Serpent, now flourishing.

The cold walls shimmered with a metallic luster, surrounded by instruments filled with a high-tech feel.

The quarters for the World Serpent cadres were quite humane. They could create different living environments according to individual needs, although it was somewhat redundant for these cadres.

Jackal usually ate and slept in the laboratory, Raven occasionally went out to make money, occasionally managing her own small bar, although her cocktails were only passable. Night Owl basically never came to headquarters, being assigned tasks every day, running around.

In short, there weren't many cadres as leisurely as Chase.

After quickly selecting some ingredients from the logistics area, Chase returned to his room and busied himself.

Bella, this little one, has been quite happy recently. She sticks to Chase here, then to Sirin there, and occasionally goes to find the queen when she has nothing to do. Although this behavior caused a little trouble for Kiana, there was no major issue; Kiana actually quite liked this girl.

This time Bella went to Kiana's side, so the room was still empty at the moment. Chase had wanted Sirin to come out and play, but the girl seemed to be sulking and didn't respond, which Chase found somewhat unsurprising.

After all, watching one's family and brother stick to each other crazily while one can only watch from the sidelines is indeed somewhat uncomfortable.

Chase had considered letting Sirin out, but he felt it was too risky.

Chase, who wasn't originally a Herrscher but could use Herrscher powers by relying on Sirin's stigma, was already quite special. If he really summoned Sirin, not to mention how Kevin would feel, Otto's side would probably explode first.

He feared that Otto would ignore everything else and focus on him.

After all, who wants to die if they can survive?

Thinking about this and that, Chase estimated the time and started bustling around in the kitchen.

It seems that girls have a special passion for desserts. At least among the many girls Chase knows, there isn't one who doesn't love sweets.

Mix low-gluten flour, baking powder, and fine sugar, add water and knead until relaxed. Then, take another medium-sized bowl, use an electric mixer to beat butter and granulated sugar until the color lightens, becomes loose, and has delicate lines.

"Now, it's..."

Chase was contemplating the next steps when he heard the sound of the room door being pushed open.

"The remote control is on the sofa, wait for me to finish making dessert." Without any surprises, Chase purposely didn't lock the door, thinking it was Bella who had returned, and casually greeted.

Then he heard the sound of the TV playing. Chase didn't pay much attention and continued with his work.

When the cake was ready, the first bite had to be taken to Sirin; he had to coax the little angel well.

Being angry might make her bustier, and Fu Hua had already suffered enough betrayals; don't stimulate her further.

When Chase brought out the just-made cake from the kitchen, he opened the kitchen door and froze in place.

"Brother!"

The purple-haired girl sat obediently on the sofa, blinking her golden eyes. When she saw Chase coming out, she happily bounced over to help him carry the plate.

"Be careful, it's hot," Chase instinctively said.

"It's okay, hehe, Sirin isn't afraid." The girl giggled foolishly.

Chase was puzzled. With a doubtful mindset, he immersed his consciousness into the Stigma space and saw the purple-haired girl sitting idle on the side.

Trying to call out but receiving no response, Chase hastened his steps to approach. Only then did he realize that this body had already disconnected.

Shocking!

In just a moment, Chase understood everything.

"Hehe, you two siblings get along really well." The mastermind behind this, now sitting elegantly on the sofa, quietly watched the interaction between the siblings with a faint smile on her face, seeming to be in a good mood.

Snow-white soft long hair, blue-purple pupils, a well-proportioned figure with curves, and that face... Chase momentarily thought he saw someone familiar.

Mǐsītèlín · Shāníyǎtè, also known as one of the cadres of the World Serpent - Hare. At this moment, this mature and intelligent elder sister was in her room, watching the interaction between Chase and Sirin.

"..." Chase remained unusually silent for a while. The sudden situation exceeded his expectations, and since he had no prior plans, he temporarily couldn't think of a solution.

"Hehehe, I didn't mean any harm. Don't be nervous." Instead, Hare broke the silence first, her smile gentle, carrying a hint of apology, making her very approachable.

"Does the Lord know about Sirin?" Chase asked.

"Yeah, he wants to see you." Hare nodded.

Chase sighed and turned to look at Sirin, who was silently enjoying the cake. He reminded her, "Sirin, save some for Bella and the others."

The girl ate faster.
