Chapter 228: Chapter 189: For Her
The herrschers, Kiana, Mei, and Adelheid were the brunt of the force along with Bianka. While the russians support the team. But Seele was also a powerhouse, Veliona was manipulating their honkai energy immaculately as it came naturally to her as a herrscher persona.
"Goddamn, these annoying avatars are all over the place!" Adelheid stabbed one of Tilie's avatars with abyss flower and countless more that have already fallen to them. And they weren't even the main force. As Himeko made a huge dent to their numbers.
"Tsk, of course they're annoying. Captain obvious." Sin rolled her eyes as they continued to soldier on through the horde of mindless Soulium robots. "This would've been much better if they weren't so strong, hey! That's one of my moves, Neko Charm!" Kiana shouted out in rage as one of the avatars leapt in the air and aimed an axe kick at her.
"Kiana idiotka, you do not have copyright on an axe kick. Giving it a name won't make it yours." Bronya shot a laser and multiple rockets with bunny 19-c. "Actually, she can copyright that. If she goes through the proper process." Bianka said with squinted eyes, squashing a head with her bare hands. Remembering the ludicrous copyrights.

Kiana had tears in her eyes as she looked at Bianka, thinking that her new sister have protected her. "Enough talk! Less blabber, more fighting! Ahhh! Infinite power! Eat force lightning you bastards!" Adelheid was pissed as hell at Tilie and shouted out chuuni lines as she emulated a certain sith lord.
The group bulldozed through the enemies with Adelheid's help. Her gem of conquest and haste really made things easier. Flames with lightning were destructive after all.
"I can feel it, there's a huge concentration of Honkai energy at that location." Bianka pointed deeper at Kolosten and with her superior senses as a training maniac, she could feel the congregation of energy that Tilie was giving off.
"Let's go! Bronya-chan, shoot them all down as much as possible!" Adelheid gestured with her hands and the avatars crunched up to a ball. Using gravity so they would be grouped for easier extermination.
"Target locked, fire!" Bronya shouted out with her cute voice. But the honkai powered rockets and lasers were not. Exploding grandly at the enemies while Kiana pelted the area with her subspace lances. As the follower of Ein's creed, she always double taps as well too of course.
But they felt that the honkai energy was still rising, so the Russians offered to be their guard and gatekeeper. "Herrscher-san's, we'll hold off the enemies here!" Rozaliya shouted out and looked at Liliya.
"Umu, I guess we should do that, Rozaliya? Nyet, we need to." Liliya frowned at the still incoming horde of enemies. And they had back up, as they saw some drones, mechs, and robots.
"What do you mean, Rozaliya-chan, Liliya-chan?" Mei was confused, sending off lightning at the incoming hostiles. The others were also curious, but Rozaliya just squinted her eyes at them. Not unlike her happy go lucky expression and personality.
"Go, whatever is happening over there is not daijobu." Rozaliya pointed at the area they were heading to and they saw golden lights at the area.
"Okay, thanks girls. We'll leave this area to you, don't be too reckless now. Himeko-sensei and the others will be with you soon." Adelheid nodded at Rozaliya and looked at the strongest members of the team. They were the supposed task force for the problem at hand.
Everybody then gasped as they saw half of Kolosten disappear. Himeko unleashed Laevatein and the place just evaporated into nothing.
"I... I guess they'll be coming alright." Sin gulped as she thought that must have come from what her red headed sensei's briefcase. Whatever that was.
Adelheid and the herrschers then broke through while the vodka twins relaxed and focused. "Roza, don't mess this up you idiotka." Liliya glared at Rozaliya as they have had a lot of failures with their super secret move.
"Don't worry Liliya! I'm super awesome you know?" Roza grinned and gave a peace sign. They then synchronized their breathing, their twin connection at the max as every part of their body got the same rhythm.
Their minds were clear, their hearts beat as one, their lungs expand at the same time every time they breathe. The two then started doing a silly dance that made even Seele raise a brow.
"What are these idiotkas doing?" Bronya was about to hit them on the head with bunny 19-c. But the twins shouted out. "Fusion, ha!" Bronya and the others got blinded by light.
When it died down, they were shocked by what they saw. As only one person stood at the middle of the supposed light show. She had two great swords that were pink and blue. And she also had a blue and pink theme. (pic)
"Huh? What are you guys all gawking at over there? Never seen a cool person before? Less staring, more fighting." The fused Rozaliya and Liliya had a pretty aloof personality.
She then brandished her two great swords and started hacking the enemies with ease. She then dodged a barrage of lasers from the enemy robots, but she suddenly disappeared on the ground. Like she was made of paint.
She appeared right behind the enemy lines and unleashed furious slashes with great weight at the mechs and robots. Making the Russians surprised at her sudden increase in strength and skill.
"Ahhh, I haven't introduced myself yet. I am Delta by the way. Now, how about we do our job?" She smirked at them and still had Rozaliya's personality.
"Well, they sure have us beat with their fusing shtick Veliona." Seele smiled and looked at her stigmata. "Shut up, Seele. Keep on attacking." Veliona was in a bad mood as she thought that what Delta just did was cool. Unlike her who just possesses their body.

"My, my. I didn't expect everyone to appear so quickly. My little surprise wasn't that exciting for you girls I guess." Tilie had her back on the group that arrived. Not really caring that they have come to stop her.
"Hmph, your little games are over. Surrender peacefully Ottilie Apocalypse. We've got you surrounded." Adelheid glared at her as everyone went into position so she wouldn't be able to escape.
Tilie chuckled at Adelheid's words and clapped. "Hahaha, I admit. This line up is quite worrisome, I think I wouldn't have been able to deal with it a few weeks back." Tilie faced them and gave a confident smile.
"What do you mean?" Kiana frowned and everybody was in the same boat. They knew that she had something under her sleeve that would be really annoying.
"Ahhh, the two Kaslanas. Are you really going to gang up on this poor woman? And I am not doing anything bad. I am just going to meet with an old friend of mine." Tilie smirked and Kiana squinted her eyes at her.
"Stop playing games Ottilie! What the hell are you planning!?" Adelheid hissed at her and the others brandished their weapons, feeling that the fight would start.
"Hmmm? I do not lie little Adelheid. I'm going to meet up with one Kallen Kaslana, but she is resting. So I made a little deal you see? The timeline of this world will return a bit to 500 years ago after I can focus. You decided to give me some trouble you see?" Tilie gave a condescending smile.
"You dare? You're playing god! Things will get messed up! You know what will happen at the imaginary tree if you do that!" Adelheid was agape from what she was planning.
If she succeeded, then the branch that they were in would have either disastrous changes. Or affect the imaginary tree a lot. And they might get pruned from the tree altogether. Labeled as a lost cause that would disturb the cycle of the tree.
"Then stop me? Isn't that what heroes are supposed to do? Oh, little Adelheid?" Tilie raised her hand and the gloomy clouds above got parted as a golden beam went to her hand that powered up void Archives.
A copy of Abyss Flower then appeared on her hand as she brandished the lance. But instead of being a weaker replica. Due to her newfound powers that were given by the gestalt will of honkai. It was on par with the lance in Adelheid's hands. And she could feel it.
"Now, this won't be an interesting finale for my story if I don't have antagonists in it. So how about you try and stop me then?" Tilie lost her smile and stared at the herrscher group.
Bianka started as she did not like talking. Ein taught her that killing enemies or preparing while they monologue was paramount for success. And she found an opening when Tilie was about to raise abyss Flower and point it at Adelheid.
She disappeared from her place and gave a roundhouse that was aimed at Tilie's temple. Her leg, a blur. Like a whip that would crack at Tilie's head upon impact.
Bianka expected that it would not really work well. But she was shocked that the blonde just caught her leg on the ankle and she got slammed on the ground by Tilie.
"Don't underestimate me, I am not a frail woman you know?" Tilie stabbed the lance at the downed Bianka, making Mei and Adelheid swoop in as they parried the blow.
Subspace lances then erupted all over Tilie's position so she would back off. "Thanks, I did not expect her to be that powerful." Bianka frowned as she stretched her muscles. Noting that Tilie's attack did some damage.
Addy healed her up quickly with abyss Flower and squinted at the blonde that was leisurely dodging Kiana's barrage of attacks.
"Bastard, Mei. I'm gonna give an opening, strike when you see fit." Adelheid raised her hand and Mei nodded, preparing for an iaido with her sword.
"Bansho Tenn'in!" Adelheid used gravity to reel Tilie in at her direction while she threw Abyss Flower like a javelin.
Tilie rolled her eyes and saw their obvious tricks. She dodged Addy's attack. The deafening sound of a thunderclap then ripped through the air as Mei made a sneak attack. But she was blocked by the lance.
"That won't work on me, Adelhe-" Tilie launched Mei away from herself and was about to engage Adelheid. But portals appeared all over her vicinity and Kiana's lances tried skewering her like a porcupine.
Tilie clicked her tongue and opened up portals of her own. Surprising the girls once again, though Tilie wasn't quite pleased as they could infer that she had herrscher powers too. Well, at least the smart ones could.
"She has herrscher powers, be careful everyone!" Bianka immediately warned them and they went back to size her up.
"Tch, so you've noticed already huh? You always were a bit too smart, Bianka. Unlike your clone over there." Tilie pointed at Kiana and she was offended.
"Hey, I'm smart too! Right? Right???" Kiana looked at Mei and Adelheid. But they just did the Russian special and acted like they didn't hear her question.
'Tch, but I'm quite limited. Damn the will of the honkai, not giving me the necessary control over these powers.' Tilie clicked her tongue as she might have their basic abilities. But because she did not gain the full support of the honkai like Cana or the herrscher of the end. She cannot manipulate her powers to their maximum potential.
Adelheid gestured for everyone for an all out assault. They made two plans, one was a battle of attrition and then they would strike. But circumstances now is unfavorable for them. As Tilie has the powers of the herrschers. But they didn't know that she was limited.
Bianka equipped her universe and started powering up, but she was still strained from her earlier fight with Adelheid and she could not siphon energy to the maximum.
Adelheid opened the first 5 gates and her blood scattered tactically. Ready to pelt Tilie with them at a moment's notice. Focusing heavily as she would open the 7th gate when the opportunity rises. In the same boat as Bianka right now.
"Mei-chan! I'll show you how awesome I've become with my power up!" Kiana transformed to her herrscher form and was ready to spot any weakness or gap in Tilie's defense. As she could bypass it entirely with her powers.
Mei nodded and lightning arced on her body. Her horns becoming longer, thinking of ways to disintegrate Tilie. Remembering that she could atomize her enemies with just a stare, but she can't do that without physical contact with the enemy.
"Hah, I guess I need to get a little serious huh?" Tilie sighed and took out void Archives. The cube started floating in the air and out came multiple copies of Judah. She then had a copy of Shamash and water's edge on her hands.
The golden crosses split open and the javelins inside it were like homing missiles. Adelheid and Bianka started engaging the blonde in combat, but she sped up her brain even further with the 3rd herrscher's power.
Mei and Kiana countered the javelins and chains from Judah while Adelheid and Bianka tried making Tilie submit by double teaming her. But she wasn't 500 years old for nothing. As Tilie mastered every fighting style that she could.
Adelheid increased gravity on Tilie thousands of times and droplets of her blood turned into bullets. Raining down on the blonde.
Tilie created a time fracture as the world blue shifted. She then canceled out Adelheid's gravity with her own and teleported Bianka's fist right on to Adelheid's face.
Adelheid didn't get to react as the portal opened up right at her face as she got slugged by Bianka's fist that didn't hold back at all.
Tilie then chained down Adelheid with Judah and used Fenghuang down on Bianka so she thought that she got a clean hit on Tilie.
Powering up, Tilie equipped gauntlets of the 10th divine key. She then gave a flurry of blows at Bianka as the young woman flew away from her attacks.
"You girls wield great power. But you still lack experience and tactics. Ein would be disappointed in you." Tilie gave a smug smile and Bianka got rubbed the wrong way.
Bianka immediately stood up and glared daggers at her. If looks could kill, Tilie would be dead a million times over.
Bianka loaded up her body with honkai energy and the surroundings cracked from her aura. She then used her unique footwork, hyperspeed. And went to Tilie like a laser. Bianka then kicked her at the temple, left and right. She gave a last parting gift with a nasty blow at the back of her head in record speed.
Tilie ate dirt as she got launched forward from Bianka's last hit. Adelheid got out from her bindings from the opportunity. She then rained down hellfire and lightning at Tilie's location mercilessly. Kiana countered the javelins from Judah by sending them back at the crosses. So Mei immediately released a terrifying slash with an accompanied beam like getsuga tenshou.
They squinted their eyes at the cloud of dust they raised and kept on pelting the area with attacks. but everyone heard claps from above.
"Impressive, I didn't quite expect that you kids will have such good coordination. But it's quite time for this farce to end, no?" Tilie clenched her fist and roots appeared around her.
"No way... That's the imaginary tree's roots!" Adelheid shouted out in surprise. And one by one, they suddenly lost their powers. Starting with the herrschers with one core.
Mei and Kiana exited their herrscher forms and felt powerless. Losing honkai energy rapidly. And while Adelheid fared better, she would end up like them in time. Bianka did the best as she didn't like to rely on honkai energy most of the time anyway. But she did lose a huge chunk of her prowess.
They felt the herrscher of binding's powers and felt quite weak. Tilie floated above them and a halo appeared on her head. "Doesn't feel good, does it?" Tilie smirked at them.
"You bastard! This is the herrscher of binding's powers!" Adelheid opened the 7th gate and immediately tried to stab her with Abyss Flower that was coated with her blood.
But Tilie opened a portal and Adelheid got stabbed on the back with her own lance. "Urgh!" Adelheid coughed up blood as she fell down on the floor. Abyss Flower's attacks deletes matter after all and she couldn't regenerate.
"Auntie!" Kiana and Bianka immediately caught her and they prepared to fight with what they could.
"Hmm, seems you are in a tough spot. Need some help?" A woman that was wearing a black mask came from the sky and landed right beside them.
"W-who are you?" Mei was cautious and pointed her blade at her. "Jackal? I want to ask why you are here, but that's not important. Yes, we need help." Bianka was surprised, but they needed the back up and she couldn't use her honkai reactive form while Tilie sapped their energy away with the 11th's powers.
"Hmph, this is world serpent's will. We cannot hand control of the world to that blonde after all." Jackal took out a serum. It was her life's work, after having samples from Ana and Chen Tianwu. She completed a prototype immediately.
It was inspired by one of MEI's work. The key of blankness. But all the honkai energy and Soulium would undoubtedly kill her. So as a reward for World Serpent capturing Ana. She got some samples from her master, Mobius. Basically a steroid that was cranked up to 1000.
Leila took off her mask and injected herself, roiding herself up for the battle. But of course, the changes were immense. And she screamed in agony.
"Foolish, Ms. Jackal. Why use that in the first place if you would be incapacitated from it?" Tilie noticed that she would be troublesome with it. So she created pistols of Shamash with the powers of the 1st and was about to turn her into swiss cheese.
The lasers fired out and the gang could not react. As they have been severely weakened, Tilie waited for Leila to be removed. But the real golden cross of Judah landed in front of her and shielded her.
"Grandma, you should surrender now. This is getting out of hand, we are undergoing a crisis right now. Humanity is fighting a war and Aesir is the only one who could fight. We need to protect humanity!" Theresa arrived with Himeko, the others helped the group outside.
"Theresa... Such naivety. You know how humans are, but you still try and protect them." Tilie frowned when she saw Theresa.
"I see, then this ends now. Elysion Pedion!" Theresa activated Judah's 0th power immediately and wrestled against her for dominance.
Himeko stabilized Leila and absorbed any excess honkai energy that would cause mutations on her while Theresa and Tilie fought over their domains.
Bianka and Kiana carried Adelheid to the other side so she could heal and Mei frowned when she saw her wound. "Adelheid-san, this is gonna hurt." Mei grasped the handle of abyss Flower and gestured for her to prepare and regenerate immediately or she might have a fatal wound.
"Wait a minute, let me focus and picture it in my head on how I'll do this." Adelheid frowned and was thankful that Theresa and the others bought some time and gave help.
"Yare yare, what the hell did you put inside your body Leila? You are lucky as hell that Mobius has been bonded with Ein's geneseed for centuries. Or you'll be a lump of cancer right now." Himeko concluded that because Mobius is a mini me of Ein and not the real deal. His super dangerous cells didn't take over her.
"I know it was stupid, but it was worth a shot!" Leila recovered and grinned madly. Having a eureka moment that it worked. She then looked at Adelheid that looked like she was dying on the ground and snorted.
"You, Schariac heathen. My lord has given me another task as well, be thankful." Leila threw the gem of serenity to Adelheid.
"The 6th's herrscher core!" Adelheid gasped and integrated with it immediately. She looked at Mei resolutely and Mei nodded.
Mei and Kiana pulled Abyss Flower from her body and Adelheid gritted her teeth. Almost breaking Bianka's hand that she was holding from the immense pain.
Thankfully, she started regenerating immediately and apologized to Bianka. "A little help here!" Theresa was dodging all manners of beams and projectiles while protecting them.
"No worries, chibi principal. I'll like to test my new body against her." Leila grinned like a lunatic and immediately powered up her body with the amazing amount of ambient honkai energy in the surroundings.
She grew some scales due to Mobius and her hair turned a little gray. Just like Ana and Chen's. Leila then willed a huge iceberg above Tilie and applied massive amounts of gravity on them. Also receiving primitive powers from Ana and Chen's respective herrscher powers.
With a resounding boom. The impact created an earthquake and Adelheid didn't miss the chance. She coated abyss Flower with black miasma. She then threw it with all her might at Tilie pinning her at a wall.
Everybody then attacked except Himeko. As she thought that this victory would be theirs. Lightning, fire, javelins, ice, all sorts of artillery rained down on Tilie immediately, but she was invincible. Being bonded with the imaginary tree, she couldn't be harmed.
When the dust settled, they saw this fact. But something was weird, she didn't move or retaliate whatsoever.
Himeko then received reports that the honkai beasts started disappearing. And the energy sensitive herrschers felt the changes. Honkai stopped flowing through them from their cores.
"Heh, they have succeeded. Such a shame, I cannot even move as the imaginary tree is bonded with me. At least a part of it." Tilie gave a dry laugh as she knew that the imaginary space must be in chaos now. As the flame chasers have just defeated their enemies.
"What do we do? She might get out of there soon, but everything we throw at her is useless." Mei wanted to tie loose ends and asked for their opinions.
"Hey you, the stupid looking one." Leila pointed at Kiana and she squinted her eyes at Leila. "You're the herrscher of the void right?"
Kiana didn't want to answer, but she must know already. So she reluctantly nodded. "It's pretty simple with your powers to get rid of her. Let me guide you, Raiden Mei. Connect me with her mind." Leila demanded.
Mei looked at Himeko and Theresa for permission, and they nodded in agreement so she entered her herrscher form. She still had some, left in the tank after all.
"Kiana Kaslana, there is a dimension called the sea of Quanta. And at the very abyss, that blonde woman will not be able to survive. I will guide you and you only need to separate her being with the imaginary tree for a single moment. I can't lie, that would be difficult." Leila spoke into her mind and Kiana focused.
The Kaslana went to her herrscher form and closed her eyes. Lifting her hand as she sweated from the mental strain. And Leila was also having a tough time, taking on the majority of the burden as she made the image on how Kiana should separate Tilie from the imaginary tree and transport her to the abyss.
"Now!" Leila shouted out and Kiana opened her eyes, targeting only the human parts of Ottilie Apocalypse as she disappeared from existence. It wouldn't be possible if the imaginary tree was active, but it was deteriorating at an alarming rate and it would cease its bond with Tilie later anyways.
Kiana and Leila collapsed immediately, mentally exhausted from calculating every single part of the blonde's body with absolute precision.
"Is... Is grandma gone for good?" Theresa couldn't help but ask as she was still her only living relative, technically. Theresa is now the only Apocalypse in the world in their universe.
"Umu, she is gone. The abyss of the sea of quanta is no joke granny Teri. I got a glimpse of it, all of us would perish inside it. Except Himeko-sensei." Kiana shuddered as she saw the infinite void.
"I see... Joachim, go back to Anti-Entropy. Check the status of America. Things should be calming down now, but don't let your guard down." Theresa ordered and they rested for a bit. Thinking that the evil piece of art called Ottilie Apocalypse is no more.

Tilie floated at the sea of quanta. But something or someone guided her to the root of the imaginary tree and with her undying will and tenacity, she climbed it.
After a few hours of weird time shenanigans in the sea. Where in the real world, only seconds have passed. She arrived at the imaginary space and only saw a field of pink flowers. Her arm and leg got taken by the sea, but she never gave up. She then saw the prize of her efforts. The imaginary tree.
"It's deteriorating... Kallen, wait for me. Even just a bit, I will change your destiny." Tilie limped over and her whole life flashed before her eyes. Her eyes getting blurry, her mortal existence being denied at the imaginary space. But she was steadfast.
"Hah. Hah... When you truly want to change the world... You will realize how pitiable your strength is." Tilie was near, she could taste victory. The fruit of her efforts and suffering. Just a drop would suffice. Just seeing her for a split second.
She looked at the few meters ahead of her, but her body collapsed. "Hah, hah. This is the distance between her and her future..." She crawled slowly.
"This world is neither fair. Nor sensible... Filled with strife and not a speck of beauty. It condemns those who are righteous and breeds scum of the earth." Tilie remembered Kallen being escorted to her execution. Binded with chains and was sentenced to death by a noose.
She then remembered her old friend as well, who strived for peace without any payment. Preventing world wars and the crime at their universe was an all time low. Unlike the universes she have observed with cosmic Juggernaut.
"Kallen... Ein will find you, I am sure of it. And he... Will fulfill my promise for me. Forgive me, my holy maiden." She coughed up blood, only a few more inches and Tilie will finally reach her goal.
She then remembered the time when they were kids. Playing together, days filled with happiness and innocence. When they would tire from playing, Kallen will gather firewood and Tilie would use some flint and steel to start the fire as Kallen will try to make one using friction.
"The other future... Will belong to her." Tilie gave a warm smile as her hand was about to touch the imaginary tree while void Archives would change it. As she contained a part of the tree in it and it will serve as the catalyst for a change in a particular timeline.
"He already did, my brilliant inventor." Tilie froze as she heard a voice that she did not expect. Her body failed her and she could only lie down on the ground while she lived her last moments.
Kallen went up to her and propped her up. She sat down and leaned on the imaginary tree, Kallen then put Tilie's limp body on her.
"It is me, the great Kallen Kaslana. I would've asked how are you, but I already know everything you've done. And I'm not impressed, Tilie." Kallen sarcastically teased her and chuckled.
"Kallen... I refused to believe it. But it really was you. I had my doubts, but I could not be certain without proof." Tilie gave a self deprecating smile and went silent.
"Tilie... You can rest now, stop everything. Live your life, be free from the shackles of your fate. Just like how I escaped from mine." Kallen hugged her softly and Tilie cried again after centuries.
"Kallen... I know I don't deserve forgiveness, but I am sorry." Tilie cried silently and they did not utter anything more.
"Ahem, Ottilie Apocalypse. My master has need of you, executing orders from Maitrè." Metatron's voice came from Void archives and the cube entered her chest.

"Give all the honkai energy to Adelheid, Laplus. She is immune to it like me, she will suffer no consequences. While for null energy, contact Metatron and use Ottilie Apocalypse through Void archives." Ein gave his orders and went quiet.
Laplus immediately connected Adelheid to the imaginary tree via her herrscher cores. As she needed a conduit to store all the conflicting energies while Ein concentrated on ascending. He was lending the sea of Quanta and Imaginary tree's energies so he could focus on absorbing their essence without distractions.
Ein blocked everything now and got to work, calculating googolplex amounts of possibilities for his perfect godhood.
Laplus then had a miscalculation. Even though she could calculate everything and anything. Past, future, and present. If it wasn't there in the first place, then it will not be included in her calculations.
And it was that the imaginary tree and Sea of Quanta could leave their will on the world. Laplus has control of the imaginary tree. As it was focused on the tree itself. But her reach on the endless expanse of the sea of quanta was not enough.
And the sea of quanta's will was to devour everything into nothing. Laplus was helpless without her master's help against the sea in such a short amount of time. And all her calculations would lead to one thing.
When her master gets back all the null and honkai energy. They would not be able to stop it unless Laplus depletes all the honkai energy in the macrocosm. Thus, deleting the verse he worked hard to preserve. And even disturb his apotheosis.
So Ein's defenseless form will be the one taking the brunt of the sea and be sent outside of the macrocosm. Because without him there, balance would be achieved again. But there's a problem.
He will attain godhood using the energy outside. And the will of the world, the sea of quanta will reject his reentry. While Laplus could open up the verse for him as the new admin of the imaginary tree. The backlash would lead to destruction again and Ein will lose the sea of quanta's data.
