"Marianna?" he asked as he walked up to the car doing that sneaky and conniving smile that he usual did, and I knew that my face must have been pale for I was frozen in fear and shock.

"Mariann, do you know him?" asked Emilio, and I looked between the two not knowing what to say.

"Know me? Of course she's does. Right babe?"

" 'Babe'?" asked Emilio with a raised brow, and my mouth opened and closed trying to form words, but nothing came out.

"Yeah 'babe'. She's my girlfriend. I guess that she's just a little shocked to see me since we haven't seen each other in a while." he said smiling at Emilio, and then he turned to me and said still holding hid smile, but I knew better and saw the threat in his eyes, "sorry that I didn't call first Nina. You know how being discharged from jail can go."
