Chapter 150: Happy

"How do you feel?" Jeremy asked Chloe, pulling her closer to him as they moved side to side, dancing alongside the other couples in the room. 

"Happy." She said quietly. 

"Happy?" he asked, curiously.

"Happy." She said and smiled at him in assurance. 

"I just never thought the day was going to come where I'd feel this free. It almost feels... surreal."

"Are you sure?" He asked hesitantly while also trying to fight a smile. 

"Why don't you think so?" She asked before she remembered something and asked, "Is it because of my mother?" 

He nodded. Chloe had only exchanged a look with her mother while she was hugging Leo, then turned around and walked away just when her mother looked at the two of them.

"I just think... you would have wanted to talk to her too."
