Mia had thought nothing would bring her as much surprise as planning a wedding to take place in 2 days, but she realized that was even less surprising than receiving a call from Jeremy, asking her and Leo to come meet them at the court and stand as one of their witnesses to register their marriage.

Even after she got off the phone with Jeremy, she still remained there, dumbfounded. Leo walked into her bedroom, and he had a similar look on his face. As soon as the two saw each other, they realized that the other person had just been informed about this too.

"That... is the most confusing phone call I have ever had," Leo said, looking dumbfounded. 

"Me too." Mia agreed with him.
