Chapter 45: Miss H
'Miss H's closet' is a marketing account that was dedicated to publishing content about fashion. But out of the thousands of similar marketing accounts littering various social media, especially those with content related to entertainment arts and fashion, this account can be considered slightly special. It was because, the owner, the mysterious miss H was a person with a reputation as someone who is considered queer and hard to predict.
Customarily, many marketing accounts would take secret commissions from various people in the entertainment and fashion industry about publishing good or bad things about particular artists or models.
If there is a marketing account with a sizeable fan base, it was sure to get this type of commission during one point of its life. And, Miss H's closet had also been one such marketing account that slowly grew with time, as it kept publishing fashion content that its owner would think suited her taste. Whatever she felt was good, she'd publish it in her blog– whether it was controversial or not, and popular or not.
This sounded quite wilful, but this was what was attractive about it. And before long, this marketing account got a bunch of loyal fans who kept praising their mysterious goddess to the high heavens while shouting she was cool and fearless. This was all normal and good, but then came the hitch.
At the time that it was gaining in fame, this particular marketing account fell into the sight of a newly rated bronze level model, who had quite a bit of popularity in the circle. It was when he was trying to find a way to increase his Weibo traffic and fan base that he heard about this blog with a peculiarly stellar reputation.
As you can guess, the model's team contacted Miss H so they could have it recommend some of his modeling pictures, only to be rejected. And the reason given by this weirdo was none other than 'he's not good enough.'
Well, this young model was also quite prideful and took instant offense to these words, and tried to threaten the account to publish his content. And this miss H, without further delay, directly publicized this matter, which in turn caused a huge uproar.
The netizens keep on blaming this shameless model, saying his talents were subpar and all, while his fans kept trying to defend their idol. All in all, the whole matter was made into a stinking mess within a few hours as a result of everyone's enthusiasm.
Unfortunately or fortunately, this particular model had a sugar mo- *cough* a patron, who was quite rich and very enthusiastic about supporting his work. Netizens might not know well, but the insiders of the industry were perfectly aware of this 'open secret' and waited with bated breath to watch the spectacle that was sure to unfold.
And just like everyone expected, the backlash came within days and Miss H's closet was ordered to be closed. But, even as days passed into weeks, nothing happened. Miss H kept publishing her content as per usual, much to the surprise of the people of the industry as well the rival marketing accounts.
And voila, two weeks later, the said-rich patron's company suddenly piled for bankruptcy and disappeared from the sight of the world. Well, as for the model– who knows? Nothing much was ever heard of him after that.

It was then that the people who had been watching everything from start to the end realized that this miss H was no simple prawn, but a big shark leisurely circling the sea.
The fans of course increased their shouts that she(he?) was cool enough to pierce heavens, and even so, miss H, who gained even more popularity kept publishing her favorite fashion selections in a leisurely manner. Truly– the wonders of life!
Today too, fans of Miss H's closet crawled out of their warm beds after a night of sleep and switching on their mobile phones, logged into Weibo only to realize that their goddess had uploaded a new post. It was about New Year fashions she saw during the last few days.
Everyone eagerly scrolled down checking the thirteen designs modeled by thirteen different people and started to heatedly discuss the amazing selection ability of their idol -anybody had to admit that miss H possessed a really good fashion sense- when a fan suddenly realized something abnormal.
This young model whose presentation was ranked in ninth place, wearing a dark blue colored qipao and posing as an ancient imperial era aristocratic lady– isn't this that actress Feng Xi?
The noble lady's side profile appeared elegant as she sat on a majestic-looking arhat bed, loosely holding a book in one hand as she dreamily stared at the distance. Her head was propped on her other hand's palm placed on the small tea table in the middle of the couch.
The dark blue, fur-lined qipao embroidered with a butterfly and flower pattern lent her a dignified aura, which was enhanced by the simple French braid bun, even as the pair of white gold earrings embedded with pear-cut sapphire stones gave her a slightly modernized air. The assemblage gave off a really different feeling– not entirely ancient, but definitely not modern either, and mysterious with a tinge of dream-like flare.
Suddenly, the comment section sprang to life within moments.
Fried cuttlefish: I couldn't recognize her at first. I had seen one of her previous works, and she didn't look as good as this. I heard that she committed suicide or something. Is that true?
Fragrant rose tea: What suicide? She was clearly faking it. Besides, does she look like someone who would try and kill herself? She was just crying wolf, and simply trying to hide her shameless actions.
Fighting to protect my chrysanthemum(1): Who cares!? This little sister is absolutely hot and glamorous!!! I bow to our goddess miss H's powerful tastes once again!!!!!!

In China, people think that our *cough* back opening resembles a blooming chrysanthemum flower. ≥∇≤ This is usually used when referring to gay relationships.
