Chapter 9: Think Henry Think!
"Axy," Henry muttered. He was in his new room, cross-legged on the bed, and the view from the window was breathtaking.
He ordered, 'Install protection charms in the room, soundproof it, then enlarge it,' Henry said, after a few snaps of fingers 'You can make it visible' said Henry.
Axy had undergone major changes in a week. The Goblins took good care of Axy. He was not weak, but even though he did not know the house elves anatomy, a week of sports, training and a change of clothes made a big difference.
Henry thought, 'I always wanted to have Alfred, I have a better one,' and he grinned.
Axy now looked like a small ninja. The jet-black outfit and the exposed parts of his body were wrapped in bandages.
"Axy has carried out your orders, my lord." He was on the ground on one knee, waiting for his order.
"It's my rest time, Axy, report on the Hogwarts house elves status," said Henry.
"My Lord Hogwarts has 100 house elves and students are not supposed to bring personal house elves. The house elves are not related to Dumbledore, but they are highly valued. The guidance of the house elves is done by Hogwarts Castle itself." said Axy.
This information got me thinking. If Dumbledore isn't giving students potions to instill ideas, which makes sense considering that pureblood families can have kids regularly check potions, then we can assume he's using compelling charms and legilimency to guide.
It makes sense from this perspective that one of the greatest wizards of the age would spend every meal with disciples.
"Detail the issue of Axy students bringing personal house elves," Henry ordered it.
"They said there is no prohibition on this, my lord. The house elves did not share much information," said Axy.
He didn't even consider the possibility that a school that is close to 1000 years old would not encounter such a situation. He can arrive at this explanation if we consider that the previous headmasters and board of directors were purebloods and if he considers the importance given to house elves in the magic world.
"Okay, Axy, from now on you will stay in my room at my house, and follow your daily routine," said Henry.
Axy shook his head and materialized.
Henry thought, 'Things would go a lot faster if I had my own house, but the fact that house elves can materialize at Hogwarts can still be abused and I need to take more precautions for my safety.'
He put his things in the room. There wasn't a lot of furniture in the room, he didn't care as he would only use the room for sleeping.
He examines two spells he thought he could continuously use until he had exhausted his magic.
The ball on the tip of the "Canis" staff rushed towards the wall. He said "Reprehendo" without hitting the wall and the ball quickly moved towards him. He caught it with his left hand and threw it into the air.
He raised it with "Wingardium Leviosa" until it stabilized in the air.
He slowly moved the tip of my wand toward the wall and repeated the spells in a loop.
Canis and Reprehendo were basic push-and-pull spells. On his second visit to Diagon Alley, he found it in a book he bought for dueling spells.
Simple pushing and pulling might not be a big deal, but he knew better, with old and new melee experiences, and he knew what losing one's balance could lead to.
A slight intervention in the center of balance and you are on the ground. In the magic world, that would be deadly.
He tested it at home, and it worked, it could be prevented with magic items, but you could overcome these measures according to the strength of your magic.
He had not reached the stage of non-verbal magic. Wordless magic wasn't his only goal, he just wanted to manipulate his environment and his magic with his intention.
He moved the ball in different trajectories until his magic was gone. Practice makes perfect.
The ball was a tennis ball, so his first goal was to get used to the spells, as he was just starting. In the future, he would increase the weight of the ball and reduce its size.
After about an hour, he started showing signs of his magic running out. He threw himself a "Scourgify" and went to bed and slept.
