Unfortunately, it wasn't enough as several vines shot out in an instant, ensnaring the figure who turned out to be Charlotte.

"Shit." Alex cursed while attempting to provide aid, an act which was quickly met with futility.

Hala picked a card, releasing a wave of destruction that removed everything in its path, including Charlotte.

Alex grimaced, the look of disappointment unmistakable on his visage.

Seeing this, Hala couldn't help but mock. "Was that it?... Was that your big finish?"
