Chapter 300: Ruins
A faint grunt escaped his lips as Alex opened his eyes, his body aching all over and his chest heaving uncontrollably like he'd just experienced a nightmare.
As he tried to get his uneven breathing under control, memories of prior events returned to him.
It all started after he, Ana, Victoria, and Alejandro had jumped into the Pit.
The gravitational pull in the Pit suddenly shifted and they blacked out in the chaos that followed.
A simple act that led to a rather complicated outcome with all four separated.
Alex clenched his fist as he cursed out whatever had caused the shift.
In any case, he decided to search for the others.
The potent corruptive air of the abyss lingering in the atmosphere made it difficult for him to utilize the Blessings he'd placed on Ana and Victoria to sense their locations which was quite bothersome considering Alex hadn't expected the ambience to be so disruptive.

A/N: Well, well, well, would you look at that?... we made it to 300 chapters. Honestly, I'd say this is unbelievable but it's not, I'm really glad that despite everything, I've been given the strength to keep pushing. I said in my review that even if this work doesn't blow up, I'm proud I am writing it and that feeling hasn't changed even now.
