Chapter 51: 051 TreasureXHunt
The captain Jack Sparrow, the chef Nellie Lovette, the trapmaster Bradford Jace and the courier Silver 'Uchiha' all stood up and left the restaurant to prepare.
Whose left are the two Treasure Hunters, Marco Bartoli and Lara Croft, the survivalist Bear Grylls, and the mercenary Slade Wilson. "For Nen users, we will give additional 1 Billion to each of you. Since we will all be working together for the coming months, we should familiarize ourselves with our ability. I'm a transmuter and I can transform my aura to fire." Marco demonstrated as he summoned his fire.
"I'm an emitter and can summon and create a large eagle Nen beast." Lara Croft followed without demonstrating.
Seeing the two openly share their ability, Bear Grylls also shared his. "I'm a specialist, my ability is survivor, I can take a sample of any poison/venom and create an antidote for it. I can also create antibiotics with this. With me around, no one should be afraid of dying from poison or infection." Grylls conjured a vial and injection shot to prove himself.
They then waited for Slade to share his. "I'm an enhancer. I'm good at close combats."
The three waited but was only greeted with silence. They wanted to know more, but they are familiar that most enhancer Nen users either go for body transformation or pure combat enhancement. Nontheless they understood that he is combat oriented, fitting for the hired gun/knife role.
In a wall of another building 100 meters away, Silver is leaning his back to the wall while crossing his arms. If one observes carefully they'll notice that his ears are elongated like that of a bat's.
'Interesting, they all have wonderful abilities. I hope I could finish this 2000 fight requirement before this hunt ends. I wish to copy at least from one of them by the end of this trip. Also that Slade is different. I can't hear any changes from his heartbeat while talking. I can't say if his lying or telling the truth. This will be fun.' He smiled and walked away. From his enhanced earing he knew that the conversation is over.
<2 weeks later>
On a sea directly south of Heavens City and to the right of Jappon country, a sea vessel is currently anchored for three days. "Hey Silver! Caught any fish yet?" Nellie shouted amusedly at the blue haired kid who is struggling to swim properly in the sea.
"Hey Silver! By the time you catch anything, we'll be long dead! Hahahahaha" Bradford teased just beside Nellie.
"Why don't you come here and do the catching then!" Spat Silver.
"Now now Silver, you should focus on swimming rather than anything else right now." Bear Grylls instructed swimming along side Silver.
In the past week traveling with the group, Silver has been trying to learn from his new team. Similar to archery he found out that swimming and flying are two set of skills his scarlet eyes are unable to copy fully and needs constant practice. He had a year practicing with the wings to master some maneuvers.
Commandering the ship is another thing entirely and gave up after a few attempts. Cooking has been a joy for him. He lives alone and has been cooking for himself so learning new recipes and spices are always appreciated.
Right now he is practicing swimming under the guidance of Bear Grylls, who has been in constant amazement on how quick Silver can learn and apply his teachings. He haven't seen Bradford dismantle any traps so he's not sure on how his eyes would fare on it while Slade keeps to himself while watching over the security of the group.
He also did not approach the two employers. At the moment they don't know each other that well and the others seem to avoid them too. He thought must be the gap between employers and employee.
An hour later "Yesss! I got one!" Silver and Grylls returned to the ship with their game. Silver brough in a 8ft kicking fish. It is like a grouper with a large frog-hind legs.
"Finally something we can eat! I thought this would be the day that Captain Jack Sparrow would die of hunger." - Capn. Jack
"Oh come on! There are still food in the ship." Argued Silver.
"Don't let them get to you. Now come along, we'll let them taste our food. Lara and Marco should have surfaced by the time we finished." Nellie patted Silver's back and dragged him to the Kitchen.
"Throw the head off. It is not edible." Reminded Grylls.
2 hours later Silver and Nellie returned with a lot of fish dishes. Pressed sushi, sashimi, teriyaki, fried, etc. As guesed by Nellie, Lara and Marco have returned from their underwater dive. 3 days ago they anchored on this spot to look for the key on the sunken ship below them. Marco and Lara has been diving for it since then.
"Now that the crew is gathered, let's start. We have finally gotten the key we came for." Started Marco while pointing to the golden key in the middle of the table. Near it is a human Skull also salvaged from the ship.
"This is the Seraph, it is an ancient key that believe to unlock the resting place for the Xian's in the barkhang monastery. 40 years ago the owner of this key embarked from Jappon to the Begerosse union via ship. 1 week into the trip they encountered an attack and sunk here." Continued Lara
The Seraph is a golden key that a human figure with wings as the bow.
"If we continue by sea, will reach the union in 2 months. So to shorten the trip, we will first dock in Jappon and rent an Airship. We'll be in the Union in 3 weeks. Don't worry about the passports. As hunters we have certain priviledges that we can take advantage of." Reassured Lara while showing her Hunter card.
The group enjoyed their meal and set off to Jappon.
That night Silver received a call while in the deck. "Hello?"
