Chapter 2: Subordinate.
First, I need to know what's year I'm in.. 1999 is the year Gon start his little adventure, the chimera arc prolly in 2000, if not, maybe 2001. I don't really remember much. Though I'm indeed one of HxH fans, the last time I watched HxH series was maybe around 7 or 8 years ago. Mostly I refresh my memory about HxH thru fanfics, but most fanfic don't really give a shit about timeline. That's why I hardly remember the exact date of arc.
I look at the kid, is he tremble right now? what the heck! I'm not that scary. I bend down to the kid level, while caress the kid hair, "don't worry kid, I'm not a bad guy" I said with a smile. looks like he ease a bit. But still tremble. Is appearing out of nowhere was that scary? I mean, I know there's lot of bad guy in HxH world, but they should've known by now, that I'm no bad guy. My face say it all. I don't want to exaggerate to the point where women got wet just by looking at my face, but I'm certainly not too far from that.

"kid, could you tell me what year now?" I said with friendly voice, trying not to scare the kid. He certainly got some PTSD from bad guy around here.
"uhh uh..."
aww he go back to thinking hard mode again.. so cute... I look at the kid beside him, and he gazed at me for a couple of second then avert his gaze to the ground.
huh? scared? no, looks like he also doesn't know. Mmm..
"1989"
huh? who? I turn around, only to see another kid, but this one looks a bit older than the other. Now that I closely focus on them, they're all boys. All five of them. There is no girl.
"Thanks kid" 1989 huh? 10 years before canon. well, that's lot of time. I look at my body, yeah I need some training to do.. I'm not fat, nor a stick figure, just looks like.. well-fed. Some training is needed to make my body evolve from well-fed to well-packed. Well, I'm in HxH, of course I want to explore nen, fight someone with it, fuck the timeline, and release some butterflies here and there, to make some butterfly effect. If I want to fight, I need to be strong. From body, to nen, sense, speed and everything, yeah, everything needed to be strong. I don't know about anyone else, but for me, fighting only fun when you're the winner.

3rd Person POV:
After done with all the planning inside his head, Seo Jun ready to make the first step to his grand plan. The truth is, there's nothing grand about his plan. Just go to the random nearby mountain and live, hunt some beast there to eat, train and train until he's strong enough to slap back of Silva head with ease and explore the world. That's it. That's the grand plan.
Even though Seo Jun is a fan of those cunning, manipulative, and calculative MC, over some saint hero MC, he's nothing near that. Manipulative? he only found that word in light novel, fanfics. Calculative? math is an ancient language to him. Cunning? he is more simple than a simple book. If someone easy to read, was an simple book, he's only the cover of that book. Want to plan hundred step ahead before anything else? nope. there's no hope for that.
Just before he leave the area, he looked over the kids one more time.
'Well, how about some reward?..' He's been holding the urge to try Ban prowess from the moment the ROB tell him about it. Of course not the killing-killing fancy moves, he wouldn't do that to the kids, he's not crazy enough. He's thinking about 'GIFT', one of Ban prowess. Using this technique, Ban is able to transfer his own life force and strength to another being.
"Gift" murmured Seo Jun in a low voice, and his palm already pointed to the kid. One problem with Ban superpower is the fact that it needed to spell it out. Wether murmur in low voice or out loud. Too Chunni right? but that's the problem, It won't work otherwise.
Visibly, the kid malnourished looks slowly fade away. Now, the kid looks better than ever. Four other? normal clichè, their eyes almost pop out of their faces. Of course, now that he knows the prowess work fine, Seo Jun wouldn't just heal that one kid. Since him have unlimited life force, it wouldn't hurt even if Seo Jun heal hundreds more kid. Of course he's not thinking of healing all the kid he saw. He's not the saint hero type.

Just like that, Seo Jun finished heal all of them. But just before he leave, one kid grab his jeans. Yup, he's wearing black jeans, coupled with KFC collar t-shirt. Fortunately, he too tired from working last night and end up sleep with his work clothes. Usually, he just sleep comfortably with only his underpants on. Just imagine, wearing only underpants, surrounded by five little kids... ugh! that just feels so wrong.
"uhm kid? what do you want?"
"can.. can I follow you..?" the kid ask him with pitiful puppy eyes.
"huh? why?"
"cause.. you're not a bad guy.." he avert his gaze to the ground, looking way more pitiful than before. Seo Jun almost bend down and hug the kid.
As for now, with kid, Seo Jun is neutral. He's neither hate or love kid, as matter of fact, he doesn't know since he's never play with one before.
Suddenly, with the imaginary bulb turned on the light, great idea soon followed.
'what if..what if I train this kid? he'll become a great asset' he's thinking, raising kid probably not that hard, just feed them enough, tell what should do, what shouldn't, what can, what cannot.That sounds easy, at least to him.
"well.. why not? but I live in jungle. still wanna come?" he doesn't have house now but he can just build one later in the jungle. He falls into rabbit hole of YouTube to many times, at least enough for him to know how to build one in the jungle.
Now the kid hesitate a bit, he thought this man like those parents with their kid in this town, who have money to buy food, have house to sleep.
"ermm..do you have food in the jungle?" food is these kid priorities. They had to suffer for food.
"I do have food, in fact, there's a lot." Seo Jun could just hunt beast later on. HxH beast is huge enough for 10 people eat for at least 3 days.
"well if you still want to come with me, let's go." Seo Jun began to walk away. Halfway, Seo Jun turn around, only to see another kid holding on the clothes of that kid, prevent that kid to follow him.
"you guys can follow me too if you want, I have enough food for all of you" if he train all five of them for ten years? they'll become strong for sure.
They all discuss for a bit, nod and nod, just like that they all following after Seo Jun.
