Chapter 17: Chapter 16: Omega
Night. Jackson emerges from a river. He's half-shirtless and has fresh werewolf bite marks on his hip because Derek apparently couldn't find somewhere less weird to bite him. Jackson stares up at the moon, which looks to be full from the reflection on the water.

In the hospital, Lydia is looking much less dead than the last time. she gets up from the bed.
"You want help getting in the shower?" Lydia's dad asks.
"Maybe if I was four and still taking bubble baths," she says before walking to the shower.
"Right I'll just wait outside then, where it's slightly less sarcastic," he says before whispering the last part. He walks outside to see Stiles is asleep on the chairs near Lydia's hospital room.
"He's been here all night?" he asks Melissa
"He's been here all weekend," she tells him. Stiles starts to talk in his sleep.
"you're dirty," he says making a nurse that's taking out the trash bin shakes her head

At the Argent house, Astrid and Allison make out noisily their tongues battled for dominance which Astrid won. They both take off their shirts Allison stares at Astrid toned stomach especially her well-defined and she bites her lower lip making Astrid smirk.
Astrid picks up Allison and lies her on the bed and starts trailing kisses down her neck before she finds Allison sweet spot and gently bites it earning her a loud moan. But the fun ends when Astrid hears Allison's parents getting home so she stops.
"what, what is it," Allison asks
"Your parents are home," Astrid tells her as she wears her shirt Allison doing the same before she opens up a history book. Victoria enters the room carrying a dress.
"Astrid you're still here," she asks with a fake smile, yeah she doesn't like her daughter dating a werewolf she still has no idea why Chris allowed their relationship to continue.
"oh, Mrs Argnet I'm just helping Allison finish her history assignment," Astrid says
"How nice of you," Victoria says.
"mom did you need something," Allison asked her
"I just came here to give you the dress I picked for the funeral," she said
"you can just put it on my desk," Allison says and Victoria does just that before she leaves the room.

A naked Lydia steps into the running shower. she still has the wound on her stomach from where Peter bit her. As she showers, some weird black crap starts bubbling up from the drain Lydia who had her eyes closed doesn't see it.
She finally opens her eyes and notices that that murky black crap is spreading and the water is still rising. Instead of just backing out like a normal person, she crouches down in the gross water (which has now filled the entire bathtub) and starts pulling clumps of hair out of the drain. A hand rises out of the water and grabs her wrist. Lydia recoils, screaming.
Stiles, Lydia's dad and Melissa rush into the bathroom to find the bathtub filled with just regular water. No clumps of hair, no murky black stuff, and no Lydia. The window is wide open and we hear Lydia's screams echoing around Beacon Hills.
Astrid and Allison, we're just cuddling in bed when Astrid hears Lydia's scream.
"Lydia," she says catching Allison's attention.
"What about Lydia?"
"I just heard her scream I think something happened to her," Astrid tells her concerned.
Scott who just finished doing push-ups hears the scream and recognises Lydia's voice. He grabs a hoody and jumps out of the window before running to the hospital.
"Naked as in nude?" Sheriff Stilinski asks as he walks with Melissa and Lydia's dad.
"I'm pretty sure they mean the same thing but yes as far as we know she left clothing optional" Melissa says
"Alright you checked the whole hospital right," Stilinski asks
"Every last corner" Melissa answered.
"Nothing suspicious?" he asks again.
"Nothing she just took off," Melissa says with Lydia's dad nodding.
"Alright. Let's get an APB out on a 16-year-old redhead. Any other descriptors?" Stilinski says to the deputy next to him before asking.
"She's five foot three, green eyes, fair skin, and her hair is actually strawberry-blonde," Stiles says as he appears in between the adults.
"is that right?" Stilinski asks before grabbing stiles neck, "What the hell are you still doing here"
"uhh, providing moral support," stiles says
"uhuh, how about you provide your a** back home where you belong," he tells him.
"Yeah, I can do that too," Stiles says.
Stiles walks out to his Jeep, where Scott's waiting. He's stolen Lydia's hospital gown so Scott can use it to catch her scent.
"This is the one she was just wearing?" Scott asked and stiles nods, "I'm not gonna let anyone hurt her not again"
"Alright just shove the thing in your face and let's find her," Stiles says as he starts the Jeep. Allison and Astrid appear in front of them.
"We need to find Lydia before they do," Allison tells the boys.
"I can find her before the cops can," Scott says.
"how about before Allison's dad does," Astrid asks them.
"He knows?" Stiles asks
"Yeah, we just saw him and 3 other guys leave my house in 3 SUVs," Allison tells them
"A search party?"
"more like a hunting party," Allison says
"Alright, Allison go with them you guys follow her scent on the road while I'll see if I can catch her scent in the woods, this way we'll cover more ground," Astrid tells them.
"Good thinking," Stiles says. Astrid nodded her head before kissing Allison and vamp speeds to the woods.
As she was running through the woods she hears growls and something being dug so she turns in its direction and heads that way.
(Astrid's pov)
I appear in a graveyard after following the growls I look around and see a bobcat on its side and not far from it is an omega werewolf digging into a grave. I roar at him making him flee back to the forest.
I look to my left and see Derek standing there looking ominous as ever.
"sigh, you become an alpha for a minute and then disappear for 2 whole days," I said
"Sorry about that I had to look for a new place to live in since my family house is not usable," he said
"we'll talk later now let's help the kid," I said walking towards the bobcat.
"hey, Astrid I want to tell you something," Derek said but I already knew what he wanted to say.
"you want to create your pack," I said before he could.
"Yeah, how did you know?" he asked.
"well with the increase in the number of hunters arriving in Beacon Hills and news of a new alpha travels fast so it's obvious that you'd want to increase your power," I told him
"What about you?" he asked me.
"I also want to recruit new members but no one has caught my interest so it may take a while," I tell him as we lifted the bobcat off the grave and stare at the scared teen in the grave.
I left after getting Isaac out of the grave and headed to Hale house since I knew Allison and the others were there.
"Do you know what the term hemicorporectomy is" I heard Chris ask when I got there
"I have a feeling I don't want to," Scott says
"The medical term for amputating someone at the waist/cutting someone in half" I answered as I walked towards them. The two hunters with Chris pointed their guns at me.
"those aren't gonna work on me they'll just piss me off even more," I told them
"Stand down," Chris tells them but he had a curious look on his face 'is she that confident in her strength or is it more than that' he thought. "Astrid I hope you can take care of Lydia because the others aren't as understanding as I am"
"you can trust me on this one Lydia is my friend and Allison's best friend and I protect my friends," I tell him and he nods before he stands up and left with the other two hunters. Allison and Stiles came out of hiding.
"Did you find her" Stiles asked
"no, but we'll keep looking," I said before cutting down Scott after that looked around some more but we didn't find her so we called it a night since we had school in the morning.

The next morning sheriff Stilinski is at the graveyard questioning Isaac Lahey and his father about the weird grave robbery.
"you work for your father Isaac," Stilinski asks
"when he's not in school which is where he needs to be in 20 minutes," Mr Lahey says
"Yeah, I understand that but I've got a missing teenage girl and our canine unit led us here, she's not wearing any clothes and if she's out here tonight and the temperature really drops"
"I'm sorry I didn't see anything," Isaac says
"Trust me if he saw a naked girl outside of a computer screen he'd remember," Mr Lahey says laughing
"How did you get that black eye, Isaac?" Stilinski asks eyeing Mr Lahey
"uhh, school," Isaac says
"school fight?"
"no, uhh, lacrosse," Isaac says and the sheriff
gets distracted when he realises Isaac's on the lacrosse team with Stiles. Isaac gets distracted when he sees Derek standing ominously in the woods.
"Do you guys get many grave robberies here?" Stilinski asks
"A few. Usually, they just take stuff like jewellery." Isaac tells him
"What did this one take?"
"Her liver."

Stiles has heard about the grave robbery. He and Scott start to wonder whether Lydia ate the stolen liver. Stiles tries to use Scott's initial werewolf experiences as a test case.
" What was going through your mind when you were turning? You know, what were you drawn to?" Stiles asks
"Maya," Scott says with a sad voice.
"Okay. Nothing else? Seriously?" Stiles asks again
"Nothing else mattered. But no – that's good, though, right? Because the night that Lydia was bit she was with you." Scott says changing the subject away from Maya.
"Yeah, but she was looking for Jackson," Stiles says with a sigh
"Quite frankly, I wouldn't mind if Lydia accidentally ripped out Jackson's cheekbones and stabbed him with them," Astrid says as she passes by them and into the hallway.
As Astrid gets out of her last class for the day She sees Allison standing by her locker with the dress for the funeral.
"Nice dress," Matt said to Allison complimenting her funeral dress
"Nice camera" Allison replied but then Astrid hears some girls talk about how Allison's aunt was a psycho.
"Hey, why don't you two shut up and mind your own business before I give your faces a makeover with my fists," Astrid says as she glares at the two girls scaring them.
"Thanks," Allison says with a smile on her face
"You're welcome," Astrid says before she grabs Allison's waist and kisses her deeply. Astrid feels Matt glaring at her so she turns to him and returned his glare.
"What are you looking at," she asks him
"Nothing," Matt says before he leaves
"what was that about" Allison asked with a raised eyebrow.
"I don't know he just kinda gave me this creepy stalker vibe so be careful when you're around him," Astrid tells her still glaring at the retreating figure of Matt. Allison frowns as she also looks at Matt keeping in mind what Astrid just told her.

The Argents arrive for Kate's funeral and are hounded by the press. The sheriff and other deputies put up a barricade.
Chris and Victoria are angry that they have to have a public funeral and someone insisted on it. They won't tell Allison who insisted on it; only that he'll be here soon.
Matt who there ducked under the barricade and starts taking pictures of Allison until Gerard who was flanked by two bodyguards? grabs his camera and snaps his SD card in half.
Gerard walks over to Chris and gives him a hug doing the same for Victoria while kissing her cheeks as she gives her condolences. He turns to Allison and asks her if she remembers him and she gives a nod.
"Considering I haven't seen you since you were three, I don't suppose I can assume you'd call me 'Grandpa'. So, if it's comfortable, call me 'Gerard' for the time being. But I'd prefer 'Grandpa'." he tells her

Stiles and Scott are in the Jeep still looking for Lydia when they hear a radio call about a disturbance in a car through the police scanner Stiles has in his Jeep. Someone attacked an ambulance carrying some dude in cardiac arrest. They look at each other and head towards the ambulance, thinking the accident was caused by Lydia.
When they get there Scott catches a scent and Stiles begs, near tears, for Scott to find Lydia. Scott promises and heads into the woods following the scent he sees someone else in the woods and wolf-runs towards them.
Scott tackles the person to the ground but it's not Lydia but another werewolf he's not seen before. They fight for a bit but the other werewolf runs off and Scott chases him until the other werewolf is caught in a snare and strung up by the wrists. Before Scott could help Derek appears and drags him. He and Scott hide behind a tree and watch as Chris, Gerard and other hunters appear.
The werewolf growls and snaps its jaws at everyone before Chris electrocutes him making him scream and turn back human.
"Who are you," Chris asks but he doesn't get an answer, "What are you doing here"
"Nothing I swear," the omega says
"You're not from here are you," Chris asks him but he doesn't answer again, "Are you" Chris shouts.
"No, I came looking for the Alpha. I heard he was here. That's all. Look, I didn't do anything. I didn't hurt anyone. No one living. He wasn't alive in the ambulance. He wasn't, I swear."
"Gentlemen, take a look at a rare sight. Do you want to tell them what we've caught?" Gerard says
"An Omega." Chris answers
"The lone wolf. Possibly kicked out of his own pack or the survivor of a pack that was hunted down, maybe even murdered. Or possibly alone by his own choice. Certainly not a wise choice." Gerard announces to the other hunters.
Gerard picks up a fucking sword (it's an actual sword, guys) and cuts the Omega in half.
Derek is still restraining Scott and they've watched the whole thing. Astrid is also watching on top of a tree branch just above the tree Scott and Derek.
"Do you see what they do? This is why you need me. Why we need each other. The only way to fight them is together." Derek tells Scott
"What are they doing?" Scott asks traumatized by what just happened in front of him.
"Declaring war," Astrid says from above making them lookup 'I felt nothing watching a guy cut in half I have already accepted that this is not a show anymore and it's my life but I guess this has to do with the fact that Astrid's personality, memories and experience have merged with me' she thought before glaring at Gerard 'I will not let him get into Allison's head like he did on the series, besides I think I made Allison more confident in herself unlike in the series where she cried about every little thing that happened and she's not dependent on me like she was with Scott plus there's there that boost she got from being my mate and pack member ' Astrid thought with a smile thinking about the times they both sparred, the strength and speed Allison showed and she hasn't changed her yet.
Chris gets angry at Gerard about breaking the code. Gerard doesn't care because werewolves killed Kate. ( AN: umm, you do know that late died breaking the code right)
"From now on, these things are just bodies waiting to be cut in half. Are you listening? Because I don't care if they're wounded and weak. Or seemingly harmless, begging for their life with the promise that they will never ever hurt anyone. Or some desperate lost soul with no idea what they're getting into." Gerard says to the hunter before he finishes with, "We find them, we kill them, we kill them all"
