Chapter 5: Chapter 5: So They Know Of Us
Mc POV
Moving towards the villages and my summon.
Outrider "lord I have done what you asked of me" as I nod at him.
I turned towards the villagers, that had been gathered in the center of town. 'Holy magic-great heal'. 3 giant rings came from below my feet, with ancient writing. Waves of holy light pulsated out washing over the villagers, there cuts, broke arms and deep gashes were healed in a Instant.
Village leader "why would you help a village you have no ties with".
Ciaran "why do you question the man that saved your lives if...." she said with anger apparent her voice.
Raising my hand she stops speaking as momonga comes down.
Momonga " pardon my partners subordinate, we could not stand by and watch as you innocent villagers were slaughtered".
Villagers "ooooo".
Momonga " you do not need to fear anything of this nature again, this village is under our protection"
As the villagers look fearful at momonga words all besides enri and nemu.
Enri "thank you for saving my village i don't know, what we would've done with out you". Lowering her and nemus head.
Nemu "ttth...thank you". In her cute yet scared voice.
I walk to the knights who were still kneeling down with the chains, I drag my halbert using the back or the blade i lift the captains head. Bringing my weapon up I can see the change in his eyes as I bring it down. The captain looks at the blade right in front of his face as I cut the chain that locked his neck.
Captain "what the hell do you want ?!"
Momonga "I don't do this type of work...." before being interrupted by the captains yell.
Momonga " excuse me there are problems i have to deal with this first, are you the village chief?".
Village chief "yeah"
Momonga "I would like to ask you some questions, for now your people should try and salvage what they can".
Village chief "when your ready my home is that large one right there, you heard him try and salvage what you can until I come up with something". Pointing to his house then speaking to his people.
Momonga walks up to me and the scared captain.
Momonga "why are you in this village?, Why would a group of heavily armed soldiers be here".
Captain "I will not tell you, I was trusted by my Country to keep this mission secret ....even at the cost of my life".
"Really" (A.N anytime there is no name infront it's the mc talking)
My deep voice sounds out, the captain watched me walk over to his men. Cuting off the chains of a few, then I spoke.
"Will anyone speak or are you of the same opinion as your captain?!"
Captain "men show him your resolve!"
All solider "we will not..."
Solider 1 "ahhh.." my halbert moved at a speed they couldn't follow and the soliders head was in the air, blood splattering on his fellow soldiers.
Momonga "Is that so let's see who's resolve breaks first, them or you" in his king of death voice.
I walk to another solider. "What do you say"
Solider 2 " I will not.." *shing another head falls.
Walking to the next solider flinging the blood on his face.
Solider 3 "we're from the Slane theocracy, sent here disguised as baharuth soliders. We burned villages on the way here to get the attention of the the chief warrior, judging from the upper ranking soldiers talks he has become a thorn in the high ups side.....that's all I was told I'm just a low ranked..." before he's head went flying.
Momonga "head warrior , all this for a single warrior. hmmm...enough to make a nation formulate a scheme like this....it's not like these soldiers would know, besides the captain should will you continue our talks or should we continue this line of execution?." Talking to himself then the captain.
Captain "....."
"Enough....one question are there reinforcements?!" As I put my halbert to another soliders neck.
Captain "stop!...yes but when they get here you'll wish you'd left this village too it's fate!"
"Will see" before slicing him in half down the middle.
"The rest of you are in luck you get a to live for your fellow soldiers honesty" saying the last part as I release them and gate to transfer them, too the Catacombs full of basilisk.
(A.N if you play dark souls you know this pain)
Momonga "where did you send them?"
"Basilisk pit"
Momonga "thats....even I think is a little to much for me, an undead"
I watch as albedo and Ciaran both shiver ever so slightly.
Ciaran "lord what do you wish to do if there are more soliders of this caliber, I can make quick work of them" Bowing to me.
Albedo "yes lords you should not have to deal with these lower life forms personally"
"What say you, momonga?"
Momonga "I would like to see this force they talked about, we have too little information. I'll ask that village chief about a map and what they know of the slane theocracy and this baharuth place."
"While your at it ask about the Yggdrasil currency, as well as the forest around this area".
Momonga walks away hearing my words towards the village chiefs residence.
Albedo "lord sin did you really need to do all this why not send us, as your subordinates it's our job to handle any task".
"Albedo I may not be guild leader like momonga. I do care about my people let's say this, if I had sent you here and these beings were stronger then you what then". Honestly I just wanted to be here for this iconic event.
Albedo/Ciaran "we would happily give up our lives for you".
"No I wont sacrifice anyone of you "
Albedo/Ciaran "lord" as they bow there head
"Get rid of these bodies feed them to the abys beasts".
Albedo/Ciaran "yes lord sin"
While i walk away I see the young nemu who poked at the unmoving outrider.
"Interested in this knight are we little one "
Nemu "you look so cool" forgetting the knight, running around me touching my armor , playing with the long cloth below my back.
"Am I ? Haha" as I pull out Yggdrasil candy from a Halloween event.
Nemu "th..thank you mister knight" as she runs to enri who smiles, nodding.
"You did your task well" walking to the outrider.
Outrider "thank you my lord" before bowing as I unsummon it.
Watching as the people gathered there dead with heavy hearts, while enri covered her sisters eyes as two men took there parents. Death is a real thing for all things in this world well besides a few exceptions. After some time they buried the dead moving large stones to act as makers. Enri and her sister cried as they put there parents to rest.
Momonga " for them death is very much real" who walked up besides me after his talks.
"Yes sometimes I forget how fragile humans are" while I lean against a decaying tree.
Momonga "either of us could bring them back from the dead".
"Yes to be labeled as gods or have them fear us out of reverie" Watching as the girls cry there hearts out. My heart was not moved but I bowed my head a little.
Soon the villagers dispersed going back to work on there homes, due to my intervention there was not much destruction as the original.
Walking through the village I look over to albedo.
"Albedo how do you feel about humans?"
Albedo "I feel nothing, they are creatures beneath us there weaklings that should be crushed"
Momonga "Albedo listen to me...."
"Then think of them as such I will not tell you to act against your nature, I know you won't kill randomly"
Momonga "sin what are you saying"
"You listen to me ainz humans are bread to hate and fight against what they do not understand, if they saw your real face would they act with the same gratitude?, I will not ask her to do something like to treat them with kindness or act like she's ok which would cause contradictions with in how she was created"
Momonga "still we"
"Still nothing answer me this, if they killed hurt or did anything to one of our own would you hesitate to wipe them out? Or would you still treat them as helpess creatures. The answer is clear to me because I have no feelings for them either way. I will treat them good as long as they act in kind but I will kill every last one if they show hostility to any of our own, do you actually feel anything for them anyway" walking away to leave him to think on his own.
Albedo "lord thanks for your understanding" with a smile that was between lust and sadistic.
"You did hear me say not to kill them randomly right .."

Ciaran "lord sin" finally coming into the conversation after listening.
"Yes Ciaran what is it?"
Ciaran "there is a group of 30 or so men headed in this direction on horse back".
Momonga "it would seem they have another problem" pointing towards the village chief talking to a few of the villagers.
Sin/momonga "what is the problem chief?"
Village chief " I was informed there are more men..."
"Coming towards the village yes we are aware we can handle this "
Momonga "my partner is right .....gather the villagers somewhere safe, then meet us at the town center"
Chief/villagers "yes of course"
Soon Momonga, village chief, Ciaran and albedo stood in the center. Enri at the side looked worried as too why we looked to be ready for a fight.
Enri "what's going on, more soliders?" Asking me.
"Yes but it is nothing to be concerned about"
Nemu "enri im scared" hiding behind her leg.
"Here" pulling out 3 horns and a necklace, giving three horns to enri.
"Blow these, goblins and beings called Carthus Swordsman will do your bidding".
Enri "ehhh....thank you I don't know how to repay you already, saving my village, now this". With a small bow.
"It's fine use it to protect your village, nemu here you liked that knight earlier break this and 2 more like it will come and protect you". I gave her a cross that looked to be made of ice. (Some players can only summon lower tier monsters or can't summon at all, seeing the effect outriders had in fights and complaining to devs they gave everyone a chance to get these in a winter event).
Putting it around nemus neck as she had stars in her eyes and hugged my leg. Patting her head I look at albedo and Ciaran heads who were turned towards me.
'What are they thinking'
Albedo 'our kids would have a great father'.
Ciaran 'does my lord want a Heir to his throne?'
"Now go to the place the rest of the villagers are settled, we will handle this" nodding they walk off. I stabbed my halbert in the ground and sat back on a large rock.
Hearing the foot sets of many horses and the dust they kicked up looking forward. I saw a group of soldiers who looked worse off then the slane. 'Gazef Stronoff always though he was over hyped so what you have will, it does nothing if you are not strong enough'.
In front of me was men in brown leather armor with a metal breastplate,knee guard's as well as a leather helm that hung by there ears with a metal cap. Carrying spears swords and the like. 'Yup that armor wouldn't save shit straight mobs'. I can't help but comment in my mind. The lead man was better off wearing sliver heavy armor that covered his chest, midsection and shoulders. Gauntlets, brown gloves, metal plates on either side of his legs with cross like straps. Knee guards and long brown combat boots. He had tan skin brown hair with a curl at the center of his forehead. Brown beard and eyes, he was a large muscular man for a human.
Pulling his horse infront of us he looked down at momonga, albedo, village chief and Ciaran.
Before his eyes locked on me.
Gazef "I'm Gazef Stronoff Chief royal warrior of the re-estize kingdom. The king has told me to hunt down the rouge knights attacking villages in this area. Your the village chief are you not, who is this man he looks peculiar as well as what is that ?" Saying to momonga and pointing at me.
Village chief "hello general stronoff"
Momonga "no need for that now I am....Ainz ooal gown, that being my partner sin, I am a wondering magic caster him a skilled warrior. We stumbled across the knights you spoke of raiding this town"
Looking over to me before getting off his horse.
Gazef "thank you sir ainz, sir sin if had not been for you this village would have ended up like the others, for someone other then us who would have been too late to reach here, I'm deeply greatful" tilting his head.
"There is no need for that" as I stand towering over gazef.
Ciaran "lord sin there is a group trying to surround this village they masked themselves behind these soliders and followed them here"
Gazef "what?!"
Solider 1 "it is as she said lord gazef" getting down from his horse.
[flash back-slane theocracy church]
Unknown "nigun grid luin captain of the holy sunlight scripture one of the scriptures of the holy falling king and the 6 great gods you have been called upon to serve"
Nigun "with honor"
Unknown "you will go to the re-estize kingdom locate gazef stronoff and eliminate him" as he pulls out a crystal with a special symbol on it.
Unknown "this is a treasure given to the 6 great gods by the holy king...use it only if necessary"
[forest around carne village]
Nigun "attention all units the prey has enter the cage, fear the wrath of the holy king and devote yourself to the gods, carry out there will"
[carne village mc POV ]
Watching as ainz and gazef have there talk.
Ciaran "lord they have arc angel flames"
"I know they have Yggdrasil summons"
Ciaran " it will not help them lord monsters of that level are hardly found, in any of the areas we conquered".
"Ainz will probably let that warrior go fight first" It's great knowing canon. Watching ainz hand him a trash replacement item before the warrior gazef went out to face them.
"See"
Ciaran "as always you have thought of such things"
Albedo "it's to be expected of the leader of the supreme beings and the strongest supreme".
Ainz "you over praise us, the question is why Yggdrasil summons are here".
"I do not know but it could the reason we find ourself in this world".
Ainz "your very much right, talking to these so called magic casters should be very useful"
Ciaran "that warrior looks to be struggling with the angels"
"It would seem so" looking as gazef was surrounded fighting off the arc angels.
Ainz "I guess it's time we switch" nodding at me.
End POV
Gazef POV
Watching as my men fought desperately drove me to fight harder, that some might survive.
"flow-acceleration" using a martial art cutting down these angels, after dropping to the ground. The sound of my men cheering but it was not long lived as there captain, ordered them to summon more angels, I knew I would fall here.
Watching as my men fell with pained cry's and being shot with a Torrent of different spells. I still would not fall. My armor broken blood coming out of my mouth. Even if I couldn't kill them all I would fight until the last breath left my body.
Giving out a war cry there captain spoke.
Nigun "face it gazef stronoff there's nothing you can do to stop us, after we're done will massacre the village, just lie down like a good dog. I promise to make sure your death is painless.
"Haha when the two men in the village come it will be a massacre, one a magic caster that makes you look like children the other....is a monster in human skin".
Nigun "bluffing won't save you...angels kill him"
Then a voice rang out in my head.
Ainz "looks like it's time for us to switch"
Looking around I was standing in a wood shack, along with my men that still breathed, looking at the villagers who were looking at us.
"Where am I how did I get here ?!"
Enri "your in village food storage, lord sin and ainz disappeared as soon as you appeared"
Nemu "yeah sss...sin went to fight the bad guys" in her cute voice while wiping her tears.
"I'll be damned" not even getting a chance to take out the item given to me, a magic light washed over me healing my men's body along with everyone else. The light not only healed but gave a feeling of peace.
"Amazing" as I fall back onto the floor.
End POV
Mc POV
Teleporting after leaving a great heal array behind we stood in a open field. The moon high in the sky shining off my armor. Ciaran stood infront of me at the ready. Patting her shoulder.
"It's fine there is no threat here"
Ciaran "but lord"
"It is fine Ciaran be at ease....ainz do you want to deal with it or me?"
Ainz "I still have yet to do anything, I like to see what they consider magic in this world"
Nigun "and what is this group supposed to be"
Ainz "people of the slane theocracy I'm am ainz ooal gown this is sin" looking over to me as i nod.
Watching the events play out as I had once did through the pc screen there's wasn't much different.
Ciaran "you will not fight lord?"
"Creatures like this are not even worth the effort"
Ciaran "your words are true lord you do not need to dirty your hands with them".
Seeing ainz get hit with all matter of magic.
Ainz "TELL ME WHERE DID YOU LEARN THAT MAGIC!" And albedo moving to save him

Watching as the captain commands,principality of observation to attack growing bored. I jumped the ground cracking as I launch myself in the air coming down on top of it shattering it and making a crater. Walking out of the dust my eyes shining red through my helm.
"I grow tired of this ainz, kill them and be done with it".
Ainz "very well, I have seen all the magic they have to offer".
Nigun "that's impossible!"
"Keep him alive, question him but I want to make sure to show him something he will never forget". My deep voice full of sadistic intentions.
Soliders "what should we do now captain nigun!?"
Nigun "will summon the highest level angel" pulling a sealing crystal out with a pattern I've seen to many time.
Ciaran "lord that symbol!"
"I know Ciaran"
Ainz "it can't be"
"Hahaha" I burst into laughter.
Nigun "what so funny!"
"Nothing summon your little toy" trying to control my laughter.
Nigun " tremble at the might of the highest tier angel...holy kings gift dominion authority!" As a massive angel with 4 wings a feminine body with a golden spear like scepter. On her forehead there was the identical symbol from the crystal was pulsing a yellow color.
Ainz/sin "I can't even take this seriously"
Nigun "what did you say not taking it seriously?! Your lying there's no way, mankind can't even think to..."
"Shut up already"
Nigun "ahhh?.... dominion authority smite them with your divine power" as it made its way towards us.
"Gate.....come" is all I had to say as a massive gate opened behind me. The angel that had been moving forward stopped shaking.
Nigun "what's wrong with you dominion authority I said...."
Lorain "you called my lord" a voice that shook the very earth sounded out as a massive human like being stepped through. It's blackish gold armor, a giant cracked sword that looked as if fire wanted to burst from it. Long white hair with a crown Like helm covered his eyes.
The angel who was trembling slowly lowered itself to the ground before retracting its wings back and bowing.
Nigun "it....it...it can't be!"
"Lorain it seems one of your gifts tried to harm me" I say looking up at his bowing head.
Ciaran "he speaks the truth brother it would seem they wish to use our blessing against our master"
Nigun/soliders "Hhhh...ho....holy king Lorain?!"
(A.N lore I'm trying to mix the bosses Lorain Yorm and pontiff an Yggdrasil were like covens you could pledge your loyal and get rewards or quest and other things to get higher tier loot... or Agro and kill the boss people didn't do so, is because the rewards where amazing, on top of the fact they were powerful beings with astronomical amounts of health. The six greed kings at least one of them pledge loyal and yeah so on. Our mc being the op piece of shit he is soloed and killed each boss the reward there kingdoms added to his own and them as subordinates Ciaran being his sister came with it kinda how the great tomb was won. I hope It makes sense trying to mix both lores....I'm also doing it so at least one scripture has tales of the holy king so it won't be like own the Slane Theocracy is just going to bow down gg no re-easy and it's not like they will know for a while remember ainz has magic to stop spying and the slane arc is like forever away. If you think I should do it another way i have other ideas.)
