Chapter 2: Chapter 1: Encounter (edited)
'Castle of Love' is my favorite novel out of the bunch that I have read before. The Female lead was a commoner with talent in using magic especially Holy Magic.
She obtained a scholarship through recommendation and was able to enter the prestige Magic Institution where she proved her talents and skills to everyone. She later crossed paths with the Crown Prince and the Second Lead of the novel.
The third and fourth leading men soon became her classmates as well as the noble lady named Alice Von Grettes.
Alice Von Grettes was a laughing stock in the novel and soon died after being assassinated. It was an order by her own family after she caused a commotion in the banquet held by the Royal Family.
And as of now, I am the Alice Von Grettes that is soon to die in two weeks.
'This is more frustrating than talking to my bitchy friends! I'm not even transmigrated as the female lead nor the Villainess of the novel! I'm the freaking extra whose about to die anytime soon!'
'This really is a punishment by the Gods. I'm certain.'
The servants are styling my hair and giving me a light make up. Slim figure, pale complexion, black hair and blood red eyes. That's the characteristics that Alice Von Grettes possess.
'There's only two routes that I can think of. It's the good path and the bad one.'
I wore my blood red gloves that pairs perfectly with my red ball gown. The corset is quite uncomfortable but it's bearable.
The servant is about to put a pale pink lipstick on me when a shook my head. I pointed to the crimson red shade and mustered my hand.
"Give me that one."
The maid wore a puzzled look but did as I said. I remove the cap of the tube and twisted it to reveal the crimson red cosmetic. Following my thin lips, I colored it out and smirked after filling my lips and turned around.
"Let's move, shall we?"

The banquet hall is as luxurious as the author describes it in the flashback. The decorations are top notch and it's shouting its value to every nobles present in the hall.
I saw my family gathered around a table while looking at me with disgust. Alice Von Grettes is said to be an outcast to her family because of her hair and eye color.
'Petty reason but let's not argue about that.'
A small curve appeared in my thin red lips while slowly walking towards my now family members.
"Pardon my tardiness Mother, Father."
I bowed down a little to show courtesy then glance at the fully occupied seats. The chairs are already occupied by other nobles that are most likely fond of my family or those barons currying favor to the Duke.
'Che, even a seat is not in my privilege. It feels like I'm an illegitimate daughter.'
My gaze shifted at the green haired guy while he's talking intimately at a pink haired lady that is obviously his girlfriend.
'This must be that pathetic bastard who Alice begged in the original story.'
He met my gaze and didn't even bother to hide his scheming smirk. I mentally rolled my eyes as I expect his character to be like this.
"Oh my, Lady Alice! Pardon my fiancé here who occupied your seat." Brenton said in exaggerated manner and glanced at the nobles around our table.
"What do you mean fiancé!? You are engaged to my daughter, Brenton! What are you talking about?!"
My father is as furious as a tiger as he shouts to the sole heir of Marquis Vocacio. The other nobles nearby were astound and others are watching as if it's an entertainment.
"Worry not Duke. Compared to me, Sir Brenton's fiancé seems to love clinging around to her money bank unlike me who usually kept my noble attitude at times."
A sly smile formed in my lips as I look in their expression. Even my brothers who usually don't pay attention looked at me with shock.
"You dare mock my fiancé?! You're just piece of trash that even your family ignores! I'm annulling our engagement!"
Others started to whisper and some gasped as he tarnishes the name of my family. This guy has always been a joke to me ever since I've red Alice' short flashback.
"I'm more than happy to oblige Sir Brenton. This trash you call is quite recyclable unlike you and your fiancé who are filled with maggots."
Mother looked at me with disbelief but I did not pay any attention to that. Brenton is as red as tomato while his so called fiancé bowed her head in humiliation.
"Allow me to congratulate your engagement Sir Brenton. You two sure are a match made in heaven. A dirty trash and a filthy trash can. Let us clap our hands to congratulate these mongrels everyone!"
The nobles around us clapped their hands in an awkward manner while I looked down on them as they both succumb to humiliation and criticism. My eyes turned towards my father who slightly curved his lips upward.
'Duke Paulo, my father, is down. The only problem is my crazy mother.'
The party is still on the run since only a small portion of noble witnessed how I tarnish Brenton's name. The rumors are surely going spread but it doesn't mean that my dooms day vanished yet.
The one who ordered my assassination is my crazy mother. She hated Alice' characteristics because all of them are silver haired with blue colored eyes. A petty reason that was criticized by many readers in the internet
I got myself a glass of wine as a server walked to my direction. I like champagne more than wine but champagne does not exist in this world.
I'm only watching the party while standing at the side when I remembered something important.
I was about to go my way but someone blocked me. He's got a golden blond hair with a playful smile plastered in his face. The third leading man named Leonardo is standing in front of me while offering his hands.
Leonardo Decintis is the third male lead in ' Castle of Love'. He's a playboy who loves messing with every lady he views as ' interesting'.
"May I have a dance with the Lady of Von Grettes household?"
"It's my pleasure Sir Leonardo."
I accepted his offer by gently laying my right hand in his. The nobles who saw us started to gossip around.
We stood in the dance hall and bowed at each other fancily. I glanced at my family who seems to be shocked. It's a natural reaction though. Decintis family is considered as part of the royal family. They will get really shocked if their so called 'outcast' daughter danced with the sole heir of Decintis himself.
"You are fabulous Lady Alice"
"You flatter me Sir Leonardo."
I spun around and then gently put my hands back in his shoulders.
"You are interesting my Lady. How about we go somewhere quiet while the night is still young?"
He gave me a meaningful smile and I cannot help myself but to smile. We stopped dancing as I lean towards his left ear.
"Sorry to burst your bubbles Sir Leonardo but a kid is not allowed to play along with a deadly weapon."
I lightly tapped his shoulders twice and left him standing in the dance hall.
I quickly entered the empty veranda and laughed like crazy. Back when I'm reading the novel, he's one of my favorite characters because of his funny and cheesy lines.
I felt the wind blows and my hair danced along with the current. The garden of the palace sure is eye catching but what caught my eye is the man who's about to enter the mini maze garden.
He halted his steps and soon saw a lady coming out of the maze. Both of them were petrified as they look at each other.
The moon shone down to the both of them just like the details I read in the novel. This is the first encounter of the Main Lead and the captivated Villainess.
