As Reus and Yumiko jumped to air Cockatrice tossed them away to ground through its wings

As Reus said that everyone noticed the sharp cold gaze of the serpent at Cockatrice's tails
By next moment the Cockatrice had released itself from Sam's magic and now the one who were closest to him were Sam and Ariana

But Ariana grinned seeing this and the grip over her staff suddenly tightened
As Cockatrice dashed at them Ariana smashed her staff over the head of Cockatrice and shouted

And that wasn't all, she even managed to put a serious injury over the beak of Cockatrice's face

Yumiko immediately suggested to Reus and after that agreement Reus immediately dashed towards its head
Cockatrice was still in a state of confusion and the next moment Reus took advantage of that state

In a flash Reus successfully landed a critical hit over the beak of Cockatrice and the flaming sword passed through the beak of Cockatrice like a heated knife in butter
"Cooooooccccckkkkkaaaaaattttt!!!"
The Cockatrice was now on its way to go berserk and his serpent tail started smashing everything in that crazy state
Yumiko gritted her teeth because of the increased difficulty and next her sword successfully sliced the serpent tail off from the Cockatrice's body
The Cockatrice in current state was absolutely helpless but even then it was capable of causing huge trouble with its body jumping all around like that
"Don't give it any more time! We will get injured just by its giant body!!!"
But Reus didn't give him any chance and with his commands everyone launched the strong final strikes
Ariana's staff suddenly changed into a gauntlet and her fist smashed at the head of Cockatrice disrupting all the remaining consciousness in his head
Next Sam used his strong earth magic which summoned five giant golems to immobilize the Cockatrice which was going berserk
Next Reus, Anna and Yumiko also dashed at half dead Cockatrice, Anna's bow turned into a twin dagger which helped her to completely destroy the left wing of Cockatrice
And Yumiko sliced off the right wing of Cockatrice and lastly Reus jumped directly besides the neck of Cockatrice
And his flaming sword divided the head and body of Cockatrice in two different parts
Everyone landed back to ground but except for Ariana and Sam other three were covered in blood from all parts
Reus, Yumiko and Anna landed on ground covered in blood and looked just like man eating barbarians
"Why does this always happen!? I tried so hard to not mess up!!!"
"I need a bath..."
"Me too"
Klaus watched it all from a distance, looked a little dissatisfied with their way of actions
"Their balance is a mess, the strategy is fuoked up and let's not even talk about the information they gathered before taking the quest...

Klaus sighed and started jumping back to the mansion to make new plans for future
