"It doesn't make sense" Goku spoke.
"What do you mean" Granola replied.
"You are blaming us for something that other Saiyans did, we are not the bad guys in the movie" Goku answered with great seriousness.
Granola clenched his hands, hesitating.
"Come on, I know you're not a bad guy, you don't have to do this" Goku commented smiling.
"He's going to do it again" Vegeta thought.
The usual: Kakarot convincing or trying to convince the bad guys that they are not bad. But he had to say yes this time.
"That guy attacks without malice" Vegeta mused.
"No! Someone has to pay for what happened!" Granola refuted by shaking his head.
His mother, his friends, his entire planet was destroyed. And Granola had sworn revenge.
Then, he attacked Goku.
"Either way!" Goku exclaimed, quickly transforming into Super Saiyan 3, "Solar Flaree!"
Goku created a large solar flare blinding Granola, as he realized that he used his eyes a lot to attack vital points.
Goku threw three rings around Granola's body, who slowly began to regain his vision, "Good, this way you will be calmer, Granola."
"Why haven't you taken the opportunity to finish me off?" Granola tried to break free of the rings.
"I already told you that we are not bad, but what I want to know is how you are so powerful, it's incredible" Goku asked, extremely curious.
"That's none of your business." Granola was blunt.
"Wow haha, I doubt Gohan can beat you" Goku put his hand to his chin, "What the hell"
Granola expelled the power from him suddenly breaking the rings and kneed him in the chin making him stagger, without falling.
"That idiot" Vegeta clenched his fists.
"And yes, no one can beat me" Granola threw a laser that Goku deflected with the palm of his hand.
"Uh," Goku sighed and the aura around him faded, 'I have at least ten minutes for this.'
Vegeta opened his eyes when he saw that.
Granola ran at Goku and they began a series of exchanges of punches, kicks and more.
"That guy..." Vegeta muttered.
"What's wrong with dad?" Goten turned around.
"He is containing the Ki of Super Saiyan 3 in his body instead of expelling it, to avoid wear and tear," Vegeta replied, 'Damn genius.'
"Uncle Goku is great," Raunch pointed out.
Goku used teleportation and appeared behind Granola, who turned around as she felt his Ki.
"I have you!" Granola exclaimed.
Granola punched air as Goku's body disappeared like a hologram, "What the hell?"
Granola turned and came face to face with a Super Kamehameha charged to maximum power.
"HAAAA!" Goku released the attack screaming.
The energy he held back for ten minutes manifested into a massive wave of energy that went towards Granola, who extended both arms.
Granola met it head-on and was thrown backwards, while he tried to stop the attack.
The attack continued to advance, but Granola raised his arms, causing the attack to leave the planet through the Earth's atmosphere.
Granola breathed heavily and turned to Goku, who was in disbelief in his base state.
'I knew that Granola was on another level but I haven't hurt him, this is getting ugly' Goku thought, smiling as his rival approached him.
"I warned you" Granola smiled as she approached but suddenly stopped, "Since when are there two suns?"
Goku turned around anyway, that two suns seemed familiar to him, until he heard a loud roar.
A blast of energy flew at Granola, exploding the surrounding area at once.
'If I hadn't dodged it I would be dust' Goku smiled and noticed the launcher of the attack.
A yellow-skinned gorilla. No.
'A golden Ozaru? Raditz?' Vegeta wondered, looking at the large gorilla, who turned towards them with a menacing look.
"GOAARR" the golden Ozaru opened his mouth.
Just as Vegeta sensed, they were attacked, but he transformed and deflected the energy blast.
"Damn! Have you lost control?" Vegeta reproached him, "Always disappointing, miserable."
Granola prepared to attack, but Raditz threw a large rock, thus avoiding being damaged.
Goku landed where Vegeta was with the children, while Granola fought the Ozaru.
"Vegeta, this can't go on like this, we have to cut off his tail no matter what" Goku looked at the prince.
"That's never Kakarot, as a Saiyan that is Raditz's pride" Vegeta looked at the golden Ozaru.
"And Gohan still hasn't shown up" Goku said.
"It seems like he's busy too, you already felt it, right?" Vegeta looked at Goku more seriously than usual. Goku nodded sternly.
"He has a monstrous Ki, much greater than Granola's, and he is getting closer" Goku spoke smiling, "I think we should fuse!"
"Are you crazy? I'm not doing those ridiculous dances again!" Vegeta answered blushing.
"But we became the strongest in the universe for a few moments, you know there is no other way to win, Vegeta" Goku commented.
Just then, Raunch flew off in the direction of the Ozaru, "Wait Raunch!" Goku wanted to stop her but the great ape had already seen them.
"Dad! HOW can you let a gorilla dominate you?! You didn't teach me to lower my head! I know you're in there, I know you hear me dad!"
"So get out of there and subdues that beast!"
Raunch stood with teary eyes waiting for a good reaction from her father.
"GROAAAR" the Ozaru roared again.
Raunch received a blow that sent her flying but Goku appeared behind her to save her.
"U-Uncle Goku... is d-daddy coming back?" Raunch asked in a soft voice, trying not to cry.
"Sure, look" Goku pointed at Raditz.
Raunch turned around and saw the golden Ozaru's body exuding a golden aura, like smoke.
A large golden curtain appeared, Granola and everyone watched expectantly what would happen.
After a few minutes, the golden curtain began to disappear, and a silhouette was glimpsed there.
Golden eyes with black pupils, surrounded by a reddish outline. Messy black hair. Red fur and exposed chest.
Black pants with saiyan boots, and a red tail moving behind.
This was Super Saiyan 4.
