"She said that?" Mina asked, her face contorting into a frown, "That I'll die along with Cain?" She questioned, pressing her fingers into her temple. That didn't make any sense. She dropped her hand, dragging her fingertips across the scar that marred her body. The one that most people could see despite all the dresses that she wore. The one that people wanted to ask but due to Aramus they couldn't.

Mina's magic was special. In exchange for her own vitality, she could heal wounds. She would have done anything to save Cain, even if it meant her own life. Aramus knew that. Aramus also knew that she would do the same for him.

"She knew about the relationship I have with Leo and apparently, he will also perish and I'll adopt his daughter, Kalypso."
