Chapter 8: New possibilities
I have a problem right now, I am being chased by my family members all over the house. To sum up the situation, the majority of the adults in this house think, and I quote, "It's not normal for a child my age to stay in the lab or practice all the time. "So now they're trying to get me to do something else like "make friends with people my own age".
After an exhausting day (for them) full of traps stink bombs, incapacitating grenades, and others I find myself tied up and dragged by force despite screaming (theirs) and crying (mainly them because of the mines releasing pepper gas that I invented even if I admit I got a few tears out of them too, they're super manly, and I'm crying like 'a la Denzel: a single tear running down my cheek with an impassive face. I swear!!!)
So I find myself in the music room of my aunt Eva, the wife of my uncle Antonio, she and aunt Ottovia want to make me love music and want to take this opportunity to 'change my mind' and decompress after all the work I do all day.
I admit that I was not excited at first, obviously after having been lured here by force, but suddenly everything changed when I heard this electric sound full of power and passion, it almost seemed like it was calling me, my flames were activated very slightly and involuntarily which gave me an electric look with this influx of emotions. It was as if I had found something I was missing and had found it again.
Aunt Eva saw my look and had a little smile that looked strangely like Lambo after a successful experiment in his lab, and she handed him the instrument she was using, a violin.
After this moment several months passed, and to make a long story short now playing the violin has become a real passion, I play it every time I have free time which doesn't delight the family members at first. Of course, if a 5-year-old try to play the violin, you don't have to be a genius to know that he won't be good right away. But fortunately, my genius doesn't seem to apply only to science because after a few months I started to get pretty good. The most surprising thing is that the violin is starting to be used in my training, I'm starting to be able to incorporate my flames into my music, it's still very rudimentary but it seems that I can do a more precise manipulation of my flames by playing the violin even if it seems to be with a small number of flames (it seems logical to me in fact, the dying will flame respond to the emotions and the will, and music is a physical expression of those emotions through an instrument). This new notion allows me to have new perspectives on the evolution of my flames and my future abilities.
