Chapter 3: The First Rescue

When I woke up I was still in the game but I was in a different place in the game. I was in a old renaissance looking village in the infirmary. I sat up abruptly when a nurse came and calmed me down and told me to rest for a while. It looked like they had modern medicine but and old timey vibe. I took a nap and when I woke up I noticed a red bar at the top right of me sight that moved with my vision. It was almost full and slowly filling up. I realized that it was my health bar and if I kept an eye on it that it would help me if I was low in health to run away and regenerate health. When I stood up a purple bar appeared underneath the health bar. I got dressed in a renaissance looking hooded tunic with leather pants and weird bracelets that had knives in them that popped out when my hand moved fast toward something. In another game these are called secret assassin blades. I walked out of the hospital and noticed that the purple bar went down the slightest amount. I think this is called the stamina bar. I saw a young man being beaten on the side of the road so I went to help him. I climbed up on the roof above them (which was surprisingly easy) and jumped off on top of the two guys beating the young lad up, and stabbed both of them in the neck. I helped the young man up and he thanked me and pledged his life to me. I was surprised to here that. He said his name was John and he was trying to get to Wesselton from here. "So where is 'here'?" I asked. He said this town is named Petersfield and it was a two day journey from here to Wesselton. I agreed to help him. Since I was sucked into a video game i thought that this is a quest. We agreed to start on our journey the next morning.
