Chapter 1: No Maidens For You! - 0

What?!!!!! A no harem cultivation novel?!!!!!!

That was my first thought as I looked at the synopsis of the novel on my computer screen.

You see, over all my years of reading novels, including hundreds, if not, thousands of cultivation novels, I had already familiarized myself with the overwhelming simplicity of the plots of these damned novels.

Of course, the only reason I kept reading them was because I was a mindless bastard, but let's talk about that later…

Anyways, by now, I had figured out the general scope of the romance in the cultivation novel genre.

Either it was a pokemon harem, or it was a no romance novel, all cultivation novels could be sorted into one of these two categories.

But now, I had found the outlier.

Excited, expecting it to be different from all the other mindless cultivation novels that I had read, I started reading…

...And was horrible disappointed when my favored heroine didn't win in the end.

I had learned that, no matter how much I searched, these damned novels would always end up in one of those two categories.

Sure, the novel didn't have a harem, but why in the world did it have 10 different love interests?!!!

Furthermore, all the love interests were somehow pregnant in the last scene, even though the MC had only married one of them, but they all lived in the same house…

It had truly destroyed all of my good will towards cultivation novels.

I threw my phone against the wall in anger and then flopped onto my bed.

'Just how degenerate has the world become? No harem gang all the way!'

I just couldn't understand why authors would write books with harems in them. First off, harems were just unrealistic. Secondly, harems were just put in novels to appeal to horny middle aged men, which just showed how low authors were willing to go, just simping to make the little Lan'er's of wizards a little bit bigger.

It was just a disgrace to all literature.

So, why did I read cultivation novels then?

Because I was a mindless bastard that was too bored to read anything else.

I mean, my life was basically shit anyways, I worked from home earning 7 dollars an hour listening to people complain about their lives.

Of course, I never actually paid attention to any of these people, and just read novels whilst their words went through one ear and out the other.

And, which genre of novels had the greatest time spent to the least amount of retention ratio?

Cultivation novels.

Anyways, I'd already forgotten the plot of more than half the cultivation novels I read, but, this one was different.

The anger I felt allowed me to remember each and every single scene vividly, all the scenes like sucker punches to my beautiful countenance.

'Well, I'll probably forget all of it by tomorrow.'

Believing in the power of my smooth brain to erase everything in my sleep, I turned off all the lights in my room by calling out to an Alex, tucked in, and went to sleep.

(A/N: Parody of Alexa, if you don't know what that is, you probably don't live in a western country.)

'Huh?'

Regaining consciousness, I immediately knew that something was wrong.

My body was definitely different, I could feel it with the spatial mapping in my brain, but right now, I couldn't see anything at all.

'Did I become blind after reading that dogshit novel?'

I mean, that was the only thing that could explain my blindness… right?

But then, why was somebody calling me "Young Master Xiao"?

"Young Master Xiao! Young Master Xiao!"

"What?" I replied, sounding annoyed, something that I had never done before, wait, why was I annoyed in the first place? And, was I speaking in... Chinese?

And then, the memories hit me.

'Fuck! Why's it so painful?'

I mean, it was kind of expected, as there was about a 50/50 chance on whether a protagonist of a transmigration into a cultivation novel got the memories of the body they were in without pain or with pain, I guessed I was just unlucky enough to be subjected to this shit.

But now, I figured out where I was.

'What?!! I'm in that shitty novel? And as the starter villain no less?'

Let me explain.

You see, in 3 years, the protagonist would come down the mountain next to the city I was in right now after his master "died".

I would then be the typical "Young Master", and I would look down on him whilst beating a girl up.

Obviously, he would then beat me up, save the girl, and she would be the first heroine he captured.

That was the fate that I was set for by the author of this shitty novel.

But, I would definitely change that fate, no matter what I had to do.

"Young Master! This servant is sorry for blinding you, please bestow any punishment you see fit!"

These words were followed by the sound of someone hitting their head hard against the wooden floor of the house I was in.

'Tsk! Is my reputation that bad?'

Well, I already knew the answer to that question, after all, with both my knowledge of the book and from the memories I had just inherited, it was obvious that the previous owner of this body was just a trash.

At the very least, thank god for it, this character that I had been transmigrated into, "Jing Xiao", wasn't one dimensional, and actually had a "valid" reason for his bastardly behavior.

Ah, one more plus that I had forgotten to mention, he had at least kept his virginity until now.

Anyways, Jing had been born with one of the 10 legendary physiques, and his spirit bond had been a mythical entity.

You might be thinking, this is great! Congrats! You're fucking overpowered! But, you'd be wrong, as this was probably the worst thing that could have ever happened to Jing.

The problem was that his legendary physique was the Lunar Crane Heavenly Yin Constitution, a physique that could only be used by females.

As for his spirit bond, well, it was the Nine Faced Lady.

You can see the problem here, can't you?

Due to these reasons, Jing had completely thrown away his cultivation path, promising himself that he would never disgrace his body enough by cultivating only to eventually gender bend into a girl.

Also, Jing could afford to make this promise, as he was the Young Master of the most influential family in this city.

So, he had become the Young Master that was seen at the beginning of every cultivation novel for the protagonist to stomp on.

A sickly fate awaited him, no, me.
