I try to be calm and focus on what had just happened to me. First I wanted to know why I was in a cat's body? the more I look at 'myself' I realized how bloody red 'my' eyes where, and my fur was as pitch black as the night sky. I walked a bit for about 10 minutes, and to my surprise my feets brought me in a beautiful garden. it was filled with various flowers rose's, violets, daisy's, orchids, lavenders, it was not much and it wasn't that big, but nevertheless it was still beautiful. the flowers were all planted in order by their color's. I sat near the buttercups, since it was my favorite, and tried to relax and think and collect my thoughts. The garden helped me a bit making me calm and relaxed. Ever since I was little flowers always had a place in my heart I always admired their beautiful appearance, and their color's, as well as their scents. I thought about what happened this morning I still wonder how I ended up here in this place, and why I'm not dead yet, or maybe I died?, and became this cat? The more I thought of it the more I got confused.
"Kitty! Where are you?", I paused my thinking as I heard someone's voice and quickly hide in the bushes I'm weak in this form and the place was unfamiliar to me it might even be a monster or a murderer, everything is dangerous I have to be cautious,"Kitty I have your favorite chicken soup! We can eat it together.", the figure said the more it got closer to where I was hiding the more clearer I could see what the figure was. It was a boy his height was average he wasn't too thin nor, too big. He had ocean blue eyes that had a crystal like glow to them that can make you lost in his gaze if you stare at them for too long his hair was a kind of caramel shade of brown his skin was white and his cheeks were rosy pink he looked quite friendly and kind with his gentle gaze and the way he looked like. Suddenly a name appeared in my head 'Eric', wait, wait, wait, who's eric? Then memories started to flow inside my head the only problem was that those memories wasn't mine. these memories must've belonged to the real owner of this body. I could suddenly recall everything that had happened in the old owner's life. I can now remember who eric was.

Me and my mother were going to the market place on her broom to get some supplies for the shop. at that time I was still 12 years of age the same age as eric back then.
"Melissa turn back you might end up falling if you stay as a tiny kitten like that.", Mother said with a concerned face frowning at me asking me to turn into a human. but despite her warnings I still didn't listen and even said to her,"Mom I won't fall trust me I'm fine like this.",just to reassure her that I'll be ok I never really listen to my mother, nevertheless I was still a kid back then. All of a sudden there was a gust of wind, it was powerful enough to make me lose my balance causing me to slip and fall down from the broom me and my mother was riding. I'm guessing she didn't notice me fall down, so I think it's best to just sit still and wait for her to look for me. At that time I wasn't exactly familiar with the forest surroundings, and might end up being much more lost than I already am. I tried looking for my wand to signal my mother to where I was. I still needed to use my wand I wasn't as much of an expert and experienced as my mother who was just using her hand, or fingers to cast a spell. as expected my wand was no where near to be found. as I was looking at my surroundings I noticed how quiet the forest was, Despite it usually is filled with the other woodlen creatures. Then I heard something rustling in the bushes. All of a sudden wolves started to sprint out of the bushes and towards me I was petrified, and my whole body automatically start to run for my life. I ran faster and even tried turning my direction many times to shake them off my tail but it didn't happen. I only came to a halt when I saw a brick wall in front of me, There were a lot of flowers in the area too, I realized that I was in some sort of garden. I was trapped I had no way of getting out of the place. Is this how my life come to an end? is this where I die? I asked myself giving up all hopes that I'll even make it out alive. At least it's a nice place to die I said to myself, as I closed my eyes preparing on what will be happening next. Suddenly I heard a man shouting and a lot of loud banging noise's. I opened my eyes to investigate on what was happening, to my surprise I saw a large buffed man with an axe in his hands. His hair was in a darkish shade of brown his eyes was blue as the ocean with a crystal like glow to them with a piercing look, as if they can see right into my soul. I also saw 3 wolves dead on the ground and the other ones ran away towards the wolves where they can no longer be seen by human eye sight. The large brown haired man look directly at me I flinch a bit, due to how intimidating and big he looked, a small little head popped out behind the large man. It was a small boy he was about around my age. instead of a darkish shade of brown his hair was like caramel brown and his eyes were ocean blue as well but it looked much more gentler it also had a crystal like glow to them. The small boy tried to touch me, but I didn't allow it I scratched his hand and made them bleed, and even 'hiss' and 'growl' at him. For all I know they just rescued me just to kill and then eat me like what the wolves did, I thought to myself. I was waiting for a violent reaction from the small boy but he just smiled warmly and looked at me gently.
The small boy said, "Don't worry I won't hurt you I promise," with a warm voice reassuring me that I won't get hurt if I come with them. He again tried to touch me to see if I'll resist him again, but I let him touch me to let him know that I trust him. He picked me up and held me in his arms, since I was in my cat form was alright for him to carry me, he took me with them as they went straight back to their home. He put me down in a warm blanket, and gave me warm milk a small little girl came into the room and look straight at me she look much younger than the boy and me. The little girl had a darkish shade of brown hair just like the large man and her eyes was just like his. The little girls eyes sparkled with excitement upon seeing me she walk towards me, and even sat right next to me she started to stroke my black hair and gently scratch my chin.
"Hey Eric look at the kittens eyes they're so red," The small brown haired girl exclaimed the boy just nodded and said, "Leave her alone Emma she might be exhausted," the small girl frowned and slowly walked away from the room, well, I mean he's not lying I am exhausted from all that had happened to me so far. The boy picked me up and sat down to where I was sitting he out me on his lap and started humming a calming song and stroke my fur as gently as possible.
When he stopped humming he asked me something,"Can I uh- name you?" he asked looking at me while waiting for me to answer. I rubbed my head on his hand to show him I approve of it, Although I do have my own real name, but I can't talk in this form not like this. I remembered what my mother told me before in the past she told me that usually humans don't approve of witches like me they think that we are demons or monster's some of them think like that about all other magical creatures. Although some humans do approve of us they even sometimes seek our provided goods.
after a lot of thinking he finally said a name,"Hmmmm how about kitty?" Hmmmm kitty huh? Well I mean it is a cute name pretty good I guess, I thought to myself. He look at me and said,"It's just much more easier to remember am I right," He said while smilling awkwardly I rubbed my head against his hand again to reassure him that it was a nice name. He warmly smile at me and patted my head again. At that day and time I promised that I'll always protect him since he was the one who saved me, for that I owe him my life.
