Chapter 90: Ch 90: The unknown divinity

Aelar didn't know where he was. All around him was darkness. 

How did he get here?

He didn't know that either. 

He thought hard and remembered he passed out due to immense pain after he drank the elixir presented to him by his father.

After that, it was all blank.

'I-Is this… one of those nightmares?' Aelar wondered, feeling terrified.

Ever since he started hearing the incomprehensible voices, each time he fell asleep, he would be gripped by a nightmare. So he hated it. He hated falling asleep. He hated it so much that he would resort to self-harm to keep himself awake as long as possible. He had been doing that prior to being visited.

He was knocked unconscious by the new treatment his father had sought out for him, which resulted in him being dragged into a nightmare where he would be tormented, he realized with growing dread.

Aelar wanted to cry. He wanted to scream. But most of all, he wanted to escape.
