Chapter 12: Chapter 12 The Fathers Fate

After sleeping for about an hour, Victoria finally woke up. As she got up from her bed, she felt like her strength had increased somehow.

Even her senses had sharpened significantly. However, for some reason, she felt her throat was dry and needed to drink something fast.

As she looked down, she noticed her skin had turned more beautiful for some reason. But then, suddenly, she felt a bit of pain in her head, and all the memories of what happened entered her mind.

From how she agreed to give her soul to Jin Wei, to him beginning to drink her blood, and she surprisingly felt pleasure from it. Then he kissed her on her lips, taking her first kiss by force.

Currently, her face turned red with embarrassment and anger. She didn't know whether to curse or cry.

"Looking for someone?" Suddenly, Jin Wei's voice came from behind her. Victoria quickly looked back and noticed Jin Wei sitting in her chair, looking at her with a smirk on his face.

For some reason, the moment she saw Jin Wei's face, all the memories in her head began to replay, making her more embarrassed. But then, embarrassment turned into fear as she asked with a fearful look on her face, "W-what are you?"

"Do you want to know?" Jin Wei asked in a teasing tone.

But seeing her determination, Jin Wei just sighed and said, "Sigh, if you want to know, then I will tell you. I am your future husband."

"W-what?" Victoria again got flustered, but she quickly shook her head and asked again as she remembered Jin Wei's large fangs, "I didn't ask that. What I wanted to know is what exactly are you? You can't possibly be a human, right?"

"Oh, you agree to be my future wife then," Jin Wei replied with the same teasing tone as he chuckled inside.

Victoria's face got more and more red as Jin Wei teased her. Jin Wei was smiling as he saw Victoria, who was nicknamed 'Calamity Queen' in the novel for her ruthless and cold attitude, get flustered over little things like this. It was quite a pleasant feeling for him.

"Y-you... Y-you..." Victoria wanted to complain again, but Jin Wei interrupted, "Yeah, you're right, I am not a human."

Hearing his words, Victoria's face grew paler as she thought Jin Wei might be a monster disguised as a human.

"This is my real face; I am not some skin eater." Jin Wei said with a joking smile.

Victoria was now shocked, thinking Jin Wei could read her thoughts.

"No, I can't read your thoughts. It's just your face is telling me what you're thinking." Jin Wei added with a mocking look.

Hearing this, Victoria just shook her head and returned to her neutral expression. But then Jin Wei added a teasing smile, "Just kidding I can hear your thoughts loud and clear."

"Y-you..." Victoria wanted to complain as her face which she tried hard to return to neutral changed into an embarrassed face.

But before she could complain, Jin Wei laughed a bit and said, "Haha, Alright alright, I won't tease you anymore. And as for your question, Yeah, I am not a human, I am a Vampire. And now you're a vampire as well."

"W-what???" Victoria was now really shocked. Because she, although expected this outcome, never expected Jin Wei to be so casual about it. But then she remembered the last part he said, and her face turned even paler in shock and fear.

"W-what do you mean, I am a vampire as well?" Victoria asked with a trembling voice, clearly scared.

"Yeah, you are now a vampire, to be exact you are now a Dhampir. Remember I drained all your blood and by a kiss I released my blood into your mouth? That's when I turned you into a Dhampir." Jin Wei replied casually, but hearing his answer Victoria again got embarrassed as smoke was coming out of her head.

Not only did Jin Wei forcefully take her first kiss but now was so casual about it and on top of that was teasing her about it. Only one thought came to her head. 'He was too hateful.'

Jin Wei suddenly got up from his chair and moved his face closer to Victoria's face. Victoria then moved backward and got up from her bed with an angry look, hiding her body with both of her hands.

"Haha, you are really cute. I wasn't planning on kissing you. I was checking just how beautiful you've become." Jin Wei said with a laugh and began to walk toward her.

"You must be thirsty, here, drink this." Jin Wei said, and suddenly, a red bottle appeared in his hand out of nowhere.

Since Victoria was thirsty, she didn't hesitate and took the bottle from his hand. As she opened the cap, a strong smell entered her nose, and she could feel that even the smell was delightful.

So without a second thought, she began to drink from that bottle nonstop as if she had been thirsty for years.

But no matter how much she drank, she realized that this small bottle she was holding didn't lose a single weight. Even though she thought she drank like 1 liter from this small bottle.

After some time, Victoria finally felt relieved; she was no longer thirsty.

"W-what is this liquid? It was the best thing I have ever drunk in my life." Victoria said with a satisfied smile.

Jin Wei didn't reply and just took that bottle from her hand and put it inside his space ring. After this was done, Jin Wei finally revealed with a smirking face, "It was blood!!! It was tasty right?"

Victoria barely managed to control herself from puking, as she heard his answer.

"I-I am now a monster, aren't I?" Victoria muttered in a low voice feeling not so good inside as she looked at her trembling hand.

Even though Victoria felt it was morally wrong for her to even consider it, she couldn't help but admire the leftover taste that was still inside her mouth.

"Haha! Yeah, you're a monster now in the eyes of humans, but so what? In the eyes of animals, humans are monsters too, who treat their lives as nothing but food,"

"So what's the problem with you seeing humans as your food and them thinking of you as monsters? You shouldn't care about the feeling of your food, or you will just die of hunger." Jin Wei said with a proud smile as if he said something earth-shattering.

"Sigh, I don't even want to think anymore. Now, can you tell me where my father is?" Victoria asked with a curious tone.

"Fine then listen properly. Your father should now be inside the Mirage family prison," Jin Wei revealed with a casual tone.

But Victoria wasn't as casual as before. She thought he might have been captured by Vorax. But she never thought her father would be captive by an Original family.

"W-why?" Victoria asked with a confused and trembling voice.

"Sigh, do you want to know?" Jin Wei asked with a serious face.

Victoria trembled a bit more and weakly nodded her head. She was curious about her father's whereabouts and in what condition he was.

"Well, then I won't hide it anymore. Mirage family is experimenting with the human body, trying to create a perfect super soldier without emotions and does whatever their master tells them to do."

"Since your father had a strong ability that was on par with those original abilities and had a high cultivation, they used their connections in the military and subdued him without giving him the chance to fight back."

"Currently, they are experimenting on him and a few more strong people every day, trying to create the most perfect soldier ever," Jin Wei revealed, not leaving a single detail behind.

Victoria was now shocked to her core. She instantly fell to the ground because she couldn't feel any strength in her legs. And tears again began to release from her eyes like a river.

Jin Wei saw this and sighed inside. In the original plot, Mirage family young master wanted her to be his concubine in the later part of the story. So she fought back.

Then the Mirage family released their secretly built super-perfect soldier over her.

But that time, Victoria was at the Grandmaster rank, so how could she lose to some robot-like beings, who were just slightly stronger than Master rank cultivators?

But still, one of those super soldiers caused problems for her. But in the end, she still won. But after she removed the mask that the super soldier was wearing, she realized that the man was none other than her father.

She killed her father. The realization struck her, and she went berserk and began to massacre the Mirage family. Even killed the young master who was after her.
