Chapter 9: Guild Offers - [ Chapter - 9 ]
I thought of a few stuff that could be hidden conditions for the skills, like for unstoppable regeneration, get hit a lot of times, but I still wasn't sure what it was so I put that plan on hold for now.
I needed more points but it was already late so I checked the system's missions.

I never thought of trying to combine skills before so I tried it, I went into the sub-space and I combined skills that I saw compatible with each other, I used my elemental body and sword styles that are linked to elements.
The control over the elements were a lot easier and the sword style became stronger and sturdier, and I thought of a way to train my other elements easily, I used the sword style and elemental body together and I was able to train the electric and gravity elements.
I also got 1,000p for completing the mission and I saw that there is a 24 hour cooldown on missions, I wanted to try and combine the elemental body with the martial techniques that are the same attributes and just like the sword styles it was easy.
Then after increasing my proficiency with combining the two skills, I used the elemental body as a bridge to combine all three skills, I used sword martial techniques, to boost the swords strength, the elemental body to improve the elemental strength and the sword style was the base of the combination.
After increasing the proficiency a lot I tried using sword style and elemental body with attributes that aren't compatible with each other, at first it was hard getting the elements to be stable on the blade because if I put too much of one element the other gets taken over so I needed to be delicate and perfect in the middle.
Then after all of that I ended it because I used up a lot of my stamina and mental strength to control all of the skills to be perfectly balanced with each other, after all of that I rested for a bit and thought of skills that could be useful for times like these.
So I went to bed and the next day I went to school like usual during break I met Byung-ho and he excitedly told me he awakened his powers, and of course I was enthusiastic about his awakening and he suprised me again that he already became a hunter and he was D-rank yesterday.
So we made plans to go to some gates after school and after school we met up and we went to the gate location, but he needed to rent gear first so he just quickly went to a place to rent equipment, so I waited for a bit and a black car drove up to me.
I was confused and this body guard looking guy came up to me and gave me a letter, I read it and it was from one of the top ten guilds in Korea, they were asking if I wanted to join their guild and they also left the contract with the letter.
I was reading it and it was all blatantly bad, so I decided to ignore it and after while Byung-ho came back, "Sorry, the funds didn't go through at first so it had a few problems", he told me, I said it was fine and we went into the gate.
And like that we challenge a few gates, I was able to get 12,500p from all the gates we cleared, I was also able to help Byung-ho become a C-rank hunter after that we said our goodbyes and I went back to my apartment.
I found a bunch of guild recruitment letters saying a bunch of things that I'm sure their lying about and none of their recruitment letters interested me.
I went into the sub space to not be bothered and I created a skill and upgraded high intuition because while we were clearing the gates I saw a few flaws with combining skills, one is that I needed to focus and tune both skills at the same time and second when I combine the two skills my intuition skill isn't fast enough to help me.
I upgraded the skill I made called "Parallel Thinking", it was kinda weird at first but after a while I got the hang of it, and now it was easier to combine skills because I didn't need to direct focus on multiple things at the same time.
After that I went out of the sub-space and saw there was another bodyguard looking guy at the door, I checked to see what he wanted and he gave me a contract with one of the best conditions I've ever, I saw I was getting the benefits while they were getting nothing back.
So I was confused, but then the bodyguard said, "Miss, is waiting for you at the car, she wishes to speak to you.", I looked outside and saw it was the car when me and Byung-ho were going to clear gates.
So I went down and there was a lady in the car, she said, "Don't be scared, I'm just here to recruit you, come on in.", I was still on guard because I knew who she was, she was the guild leader of "Flare" the second strongest guild in Korea.
