Chapter 3: Chapter 3 Introducing the Superman System

"What the fuck is going on here?"
Jake shakes his head in disbelief at what is going on because, even though he likes comics, he has read a few light novels and this situation has only happened in a few of those. "There should be no way that this is actually happening to me right?" he thinks to himself.
[Host is experiencing difficulty adapting to Superman System....
Solution found....
Host, this is a record of the injuries sustained from the incident that gave birth to the Superman System....]
Appearing in front of his eyes was a record of data of what occurred. Scrolling through the data, Jake got a scare when he saw that he was paralyzed from the waist down. He wiggled his toes and they all moved.
[Does host believe now?]
Jake absentmindedly responded, "Yeah. Wait, then what is this whole thing about being Superman? How can that even be possible?"
[Superman System has already begun the process of reforging host's body.
Host is advised to open 'Stats Menu']
"How do I do that? Do I just say Menu or something?"

"How come my intelligence is so low, System?" Jake says annoyed that all his other stats are much higher.
[Based off of other humans host's age, the System has determined that 9 is the correct stat.]
While he continues to read about his skills, Jake pauses on the skill [Super Speed]. While trying to comprehend why [Super Reflexes] would be necessary in order to utilize the skill, the system replies in almost an exasperated, human-like tone.
[If you were to use [Super Speed] to its maximum power, your brain would not be able to keep up with what your body and at the best, you would only trip on yourself. At the worst, host could push himself to the point where his brain would over process what was happening to him. The end result would be his brain entering a vegetable-like state.]
Jake sat there stunned for a moment before realizing that if he had attempted to use his powers to their limits, there would be potential consequences that his body would have to handle. Jake wasn't as dumb as the System thought he was and knew that he would have to test out his new powers to what was reasonable for him to handle.
As Jake was pondering what to do next, a technician came in and when he saw that Jake was conscious, he immediately ran back outside to call for the head doctor who oversaw Jake's recovery. Jake looked at the quick entry and exit that the guy made and laughed a little. The man looked like he saw a ghost. Knowing that he was about to get interrogated next, he started to think up a story that would pass but that all went away when the doctor came in.
Wearing high-heels that accentuated her long tan legs, Jake became at a loss of words for the temptress that came in his room. With her perfect hourglass figure, and large breasts, she put her clipboard down to reveal her beautiful face. She carried an exotic and sexy appearance in her tight outfit and for several seconds, Jake looked around for cameras. "Maybe I'm going to be in one of those videos..." his mind wandered.
He was awoken from his daydreaming when she came up to him and asked in him, "Jake Griffs, correct?"
"Um-yes. That's me! That is me, ha ha." The awkward overly happy response he gives her and the bad attempt to act normal make her smile.
"Jake, I have here your test results. By all means, you should still be sitting in that bed unconscious, with several broken bones and a severed spinal cord but for some reason that I will not ask about, you are perfectly fine. I have noticed that you moved your foot when you answered me and from the way that you moved your arms, your ribs must be healed. Also, you are comfortably lying with your head on the pillow so I assume your head doesn't hurt due to the fractured skull either."
Jake was surprised with her observation skills. "Maybe she isn't just a woman with big boobs and no brain" he thought.

WillMissQ 7:10 PM in Kentucky. Sorry for the chapter being a little short. Next chapter will be released tomorrow in the afternoon unfortunately. Today was pretty rough.
I'll try to get 2 chapters in tomorrow but for now expect 8-10 chapters a week... except for next week. Next week I get to go home and see my family that I haven't seen in 11 months. (I'm 19 not some old guy with a wife and kids lol)
