Chapter 6: Chapter Six: Is This a Movie-Immersive Game?

Chapter Six: Is This a Movie-Immersive Game?

The fact that rappelling can be fatal is not new, and it's completely realistic.

For example, in the famous "Black Hawk Down" incident, there was a soldier from Magnesia who was seriously injured because he didn't hold onto the rope tightly and fell directly.

Especially in such stormy seas.

The airflow of the helicopter would be severely disturbed, and just keeping the aircraft stable would be good enough.

So, Little Sister Dai falling directly into the sea was also considered a normal occurrence.

However, Little Sister Dai and her viewers didn't care about these facts.

Their minds were filled with one thought:

This game is fucking awesome!

A few seconds later, after reading the famous saying, the perspective returned.

"Focus on the mission, don't get distracted."

In front of Little Sister Dai, Price flicked his cigar with his finger and ordered his teammates to throw down the rope.

As they rappelled down, Little Sister Dai gritted her teeth and held onto the rope tightly this time, quickly descending to the cargo deck.

Upon landing successfully, Little Sister Dai let out a light "wow" to celebrate her small victory.

PDD, Qie Zi, and others watching the livestream shook their heads in admiration.

Dai Dai's successful landing indicated that the earlier accident wasn't part of a predetermined script.

It was purely because Dai Dai was too inexperienced.

What impressed the viewers even more was that when the scene returned to before the landing, Captain Price's expression was different from the beginning.

He first glanced contemptuously at Little Sister Dai before saying, "Focus on the mission, don't get distracted."

This sentence cleverly turned the previous accident into Little Sister Dai's own 'fantasy'.

So, the concept of 'loading a saved game' also had a very reasonable explanation.

"My god, no wonder this game is over 300 gigs, every detail is meticulously crafted."

"The expressions and dialogues of the NPC teammates change according to the player's actions, not a fixed script."

"So realistic, a masterpiece, this game is the best of the year."

"I'm more curious about which company made this game, there hasn't been much advertising, right? Tencent? NetEase?"

"Who would have thought? Are they even capable of making such a game?"

"According to their usual methods, Dai Dai's death wouldn't have resulted in a famous quote, but rather a recharge page. 'First Charge Special Offer, Six Yuan!'"

"Speaking of which, is this game free to play? Doesn't cost anything? That's impossible, right?"

...

The viewers were just watching behind the screen, so they weren't as invested.

But Little Sister Dai, at this moment, was completely focused and didn't even notice what they were saying.

As soon as she landed, Little Sister Dai felt her feet swaying and immediately felt a slight dizziness.

This was reasonable, as the cargo ship was now floating on the rough seas, and beneath her feet were towering waves. Just listening to the sound made her fearful.

At this moment, when the last teammate landed, Price waved his hand:

"Six people in the forward control room, open fire freely!"

In front of them, through the glass windows, you could see six people sitting in chairs chatting.

Outside was pitch black and a storm, and the enemies hadn't noticed them at all.

Following orders, Little Sister Dai subconsciously raised her gun and aimed at one of them, but she hesitated to shoot.

Because the previous training was on target dummies, shooting was no pressure at all.

In games like CF, the characters are very cartoonish, with stiff movements, so shooting is just shooting.

But the enemy she was aiming at now looked and moved just like a real person, every move indistinguishable from a real one.

Although she was an old woman, fundamentally she was still a girl, not as wild as male players.

After hesitating for a few seconds without firing, Little Sister Dai heard the sound of "du du du" next to her.

The squad was equipped with silenced MP5s, so the sound of firing was very soft.

Instantly, the glass of the cabin shattered.

The crew turned their heads at the sound, but the bullets were faster than them.

In less than three seconds, all six enemies fell to the ground.

Then, Price commanded:

"Gates, open the door, Soap, breach!"

With that, Gates opened the door and kicked it out forcefully: "Go!"

Every action of these teammates exuded a strong sense of oppression.

Little Sister Dai was almost like a piece of wood, completely forgetting the actions she had learned at the training level.

She jumped into the cabin blankly, then stared blankly at the dead bodies on the ground.

Then the others followed suit, crossing over Little Sister Dai and shooting each enemy on the ground.

One shot to the chest, one shot to the head, their actions exuded professionalism and fierceness.

Just with this single action, the viewers erupted in exclamations of "Holy crap!"

Then, clearing the upper deck, Price leaned out of one side of the staircase and quickly glanced around:

"Clear! Watch the corners!"

At this, Little Sister Dai shook her head and came back to her senses, gripping her gun and heading down the stairs.

But just as she turned the corner, Little Sister Dai was stunned again.

She saw a drunk man holding a bottle of alcohol swaying in the corridor on the lower deck.

Hesitating for two seconds, just as she raised her gun to shoot.

Suddenly, a figure flashed past the other side of the stairs.

A teammate slipped behind the drunk man, pressed against his waist, and fired two shots, then quickly gave a shot to the back of his head.

Immediately after, the teammate dragged the drunk man's body back to the stairs.

"Clear the corridor, watch the crew quarters!"

With that, Gates replaced Little Sister Dai and, holding his gun, stealthily approached the crew quarters, only to hear a few gunshots: "Clear!"

Price: "Roger that, clear the front deck of the cargo ship and move to the center."

These four teammates were completely focused on their actions.

Price would give Little Sister Dai, the player, the chance to take the first shot, but if she hesitated for more than two seconds, teammate Gates would quickly take her place.

Seeing this, Little Sister Dai took a deep breath and finally understood.

This, even though it was supposed to be a training level, allowed players to adapt to the rhythm!

Especially with this completely cinematic process, there was no room for nonsense.

But it also allowed players to immerse themselves in the movie environment and just play a role.

This was cool beyond words!
