Chapter 39: Chapter 39 - Eclipse Moon Strike
"RAQNID," Wells called Raqnid with a high tone.
"Huh? Yeah! What's up?"
"What are you daydreaming about?"
"I'm not daydreaming!"
"Enough! Let's go down there!"
'Silence...'
"Huh?" Wells is puzzled.
Raqnid walks away, leaving Wells.
"Oi! Where are you going? Don't tell me you're trying to destroy the Demon fortress!"
Raqnid continues walking, ignoring Wells' words.
"What's wrong with this kid? Just now, he was rushing me so much." Wells then goes down to Shara.

"Hero Ray! Let's do it once more!" Shara, looking distressed, suggests.
"Princess Shara, no! It may endanger the princess and Hero," Lyn advises.
"Lyn, if we don't destroy that fortress, it's impossible to defeat them."
"Please listen to me, princess!" Lyn pulls Shara's hand.
Shara pulls her hand away from Lyn's grip.
"Shara, stop!" King Nolan speaks.
"Papa! This is the only way for us to win. We have no other choice!" Shara looks towards Ray, who seems hesitant to do it again.
"Papa, let me do it!!"
"SHARA!" King Nolan raises his voice.
"Sorry, Papa. Shara has to disobey your orders this time. Shara won't let others die in vain!"
Standing alone in the middle of the magic circle, Shara takes step by step until the magic circle starts glowing again. Moonlight shines upon her.
"My Lord, we must stop Princess Shara! It can cause death," Lyn says.
"STOP SHARA NOW!" King Nolan shouts his command.
Soldiers try to stop Shara, but they are blocked from entering the magic circle. Anyone trying to enter is kicked out by the magic circle.
"Arghh!" The soldiers are thrown back.
Shara is almost at the last step before releasing her arrow.
"SHARA, THAT'S ENOUGH!" Wells shouts.
"Huh!" Shara is surprised to hear her Grandpa's angry voice. He has never scolded Shara before. He always cared for her with love.
The moonshot fails when Shara moves her body in fear.
"Grandpa!" Shara looks at her Grandpa and tears start to stream down her face.
Wells then walks over to hug his granddaughter.
"Enough, Shara! You've done your best."
"Huff.. Huff... Grandpa, how are we going to defeat the Demon King?" Shara stammers.
"Let Grandpa handle the rest. Grandpa has another way."
*Dragon Heart is our last chance!* Wells says in his mind.
"Forgive Shara, Grandpa!" Shara looks on his Grandpa's face.
"WHAT IS THAT LIGHT!" one of the soldiers shouts.
"Huh?" everyone then looks towards the light.
*That light is coming from the place where Raqnid is located! What is that kid trying to do?* Wells wonders.

At the place where the light appears.
10 minutes earlier...
"Hah! Why does one problem arise after another."
Raqnid stands where the Demon country can be seen clearly and stays hidden from other signs.
"Hurghhhh!" Raqnid exhales.
His left hand holds a bow. Then it is raised towards the Demon country. A magic circle suddenly appears with a white glow. An arrow is gripped by his right hand. The arrow is placed with his bow, and he pulls it.
"Gerghh, it's heavy!" The string pulled with the arrow, becomes heavy and tight. The more Raqnid pulls the bowstring, the brighter the arrow becomes.
The arrow transforms into a very large arrow. Moonlight emanates from Raqnid to the sky.
"Why is this skill taking so long!"
The emitted light can be seen by everyone in Mardi. It makes Raqnid worried that someone might find him.
Raqnid needs to maintain his posture. Pressure is felt intensely by Raqnid.
"Eclipse Moon Strike!" The arrow is released calmly.
'DOOM!' The impact of the arrow creates a loud sound when released.
"ZHOOOOOSH!" It rushes very fast towards the Demon country, faster than the moonshot by Shara and Ray.
"Don't dream you can escape!" Demon Lord Dylas jumps out of the fortress and rushes towards Raqnid's arrow.
"They're trying to stop it again!"
"HIYARGHH!" Demon Lord Dylas swings his large sword at the arrow.
'DOOM!' Dylas's large sword breaks as soon as it collides with the arrow.
"Geergghh!" Demon Lord Dylas falls to the ground.
'ZHOOOOOSH' the arrow continues to rush, crashing into the Demon country.
'DOOM!' the sound of impact.
Everyone watches with curiosity whether the attack that came from nowhere can destroy the Demon country fortress or not.
'Krekkk' a few moments after the collision, the Demon country starts showing crack effects. Over time, the crack effects become more apparent.
'KBOOMMM!!!' The Demon country fortress shatters, but the attack is still strong, hitting the Demon soldiers hiding behind it.
BOOOM!!
"HIYARGHH!" all Unity soldiers regain their spirits. The others also shout in joy, seeing the Demon fortress crumble.
"Find out who did that! I want to reward them!" King Nolan speaks.
"Geez, someone else can perform the moonshot!" Ray mutters to himself.
"What kind of attack was that? Truly powerful!" Demon Lord Dylas says, examining his hands still trembling from attempting to block Raqnid's attack.
"Geez, someone else can perform the moonshot! Someone unknown. It seems like the title of the greatest archer is not mine! I hope to meet him someday." Leonel says in his mind.
"He really destroyed that fortress!" Wells is shocked to see that.
"So, is this Grandpa plan!" Shara ask.
"Huh?... Ahhh... Yes! This is the plan! Haha!" Wells, still astonished, tries to answer his granddaughter's question.
"Who is the person who can perform the moonshot, Grandpa?"
*I know that kid is great! But I didn't expect him to reach this level!* Wells says in his mind.
"Grandpa?" Shara asks her Grandpa again, who ignores her question.
"Oh! Yeah, what is it?"
"Who made that shot just now?"
"Ahh... A friend of mine!"
*Since when does Grandpa have a friend? I've never seen one.* Shara thinks to herself.
*There's someone else worthy of performing the moonshot. Moreover, their attack is stronger and faster. This archer must be incredibly skilled. Who could it be?* Shara ponders, her thoughts drifting to Raqnid's name – a skilled archer she recognizes, aside from her Grandpa Wells and Leonel.
*No! No! No!... Stop thinking about someone who's no longer here, Shara!* Shara gently taps her left and right cheeks.
"Shara!"
"Uhhh... Yes, Grandpa?"
"What's wrong with you?... Grandpa has to go now."
"Wait!" Shara grabs her Grandpa's hand.
"Why?"
"Shara wants to come along!"
"Shara, Grandpa is going to the battlefield."
"I know!"
"The battlefield is not a place to play. It's a dangerous place!"
"Shara knows all that, Grandpa. Shara is ready!"
Wells thinks deeply while looking at his granddaughter's face.
"Grandpa! Shara is strong now. Shara can help!"
"Fine, then! Shara always needs to stay close to Grandpa, understood?"
"Okay!"
Both of them go to the battlefield to help. When they arrive on the battlefield, they meet Leonel. Leonel and his army are the last line of defense.
"My Lord!" Leonel welcomes Wells.
"Leonel, instruct the archers to focus on the larger enemies."
"Yes, my Lord!"
"I will take the right flank, and you take the left!"
"Order received!... Uhhh... Princess Shara, what are you doing here?" Leonel is surprised to see Shara.
"I came here to help!"
"But Princess Shara, it's dangerous here! It's better—"
"Don't worry, Leonel. I will take care of her!" Wells interrupts Leonel.
"Uhhmm, okay! Be careful!"
"You too!"
Wells and Shara then proceed.

On top of the hill.
"Finally, succeed!" Raqnid releases his bow to the ground. His body begins to feel pain due to the aftermath of the moonshot earlier. Raqnid then bows to the ground.
