Chapter 391: Little sister

As X opened his eyes again, he found himself in an unfamiliar place, surrounded by darkness that seemed to swallow him whole. 

The air was thick and suffocating, and as he attempted to move, a sharp, shooting pain rippled through his body.

Groggy and disoriented, X strained to make sense of his surroundings. 

It felt as though he were submerged deep underground, trapped in a cavernous abyss. The weight of his own body pressed against him, amplified by the heavy, rusted chains that bound him.

With each labored breath, X's mind struggled to piece together the fragments of memory that flitted through his consciousness.

 Images of what Xylon did to him hit him hard. 

Through gritted teeth, X cursed Xylon for his plight, his voice echoing faintly in the cavernous expanse. 

"Fucking demon," he spat, his words punctuated by ragged coughs. "To think he'd go this far..."

"For her," he snarled. "All for her... for Eva."
