Chapter 2: Where do I go now? (2)
Her train of thoughts were stopped by the buzz of her phone.
She hadn't even realized she brought it with her to the bathroom. Seeing her phone beside the sink she picked it up and saw a name popped on the screen.
Immediately, her foul mood turned to something darker.
Could this man not take a hint that she doesn't want to talk to him at all? Yet she knows that if she dont answer his calls, he would definitely send his message in ways she doesn't even want to know. 'One way or another' he once said.
Regret filled her as she pressed the answer button.
"What now?" she said, not hiding her irritation at all.
"Hello to you too, pumpkin. I heard you're halfway across the country. I can't say it's a wise move but, for starters, you're smart. Did I even make sense? Anyway enjoy!"
Before she could even utter a response, the call ended.
"What a total a**"
Why hadn't she even think for a second of escaping from him?
Because you cant dummy!
A sigh of defeat escaped her lips as she strode her way out of the bathroom and went straight to change. She's been in there for too long that she forgot how hungry she was.
Without thinking so much such as things like make-up, and drying the hair - let alone comb it. She picked up her wallet and a scrunchie on her vanity table and bolted out of her condominium unit while tying her hair in a bun.
As she entered an all-you-can-eat restaurant, a mouthwatering sight engulfed her. There were different kinds of dishes from different cuisines!
Although the interiors of the restaurant would totally leave people dumbstrucked, it didn't go unnoticed that she paid no attention to it.
She directly went to the pasta section and get a feast!
People inside the restaurant now started staring at her.
'Wah! Look at her! Getting all the food like that'
'Can she really finish it all'
'Gah! Is she a glutton?!'
Although aware of her surroundings, she kept on eating as if her life depended on it.
No one could blame her, she actually spent a day without eating and only now could she eat all the food she was supposed to munch up at the time.
As she was about to feel the heavenly peace she deserved, a piece of annoying gargoyle appeared before her. Seriously? Could her life get any better? What did she do in her past life to be in this cruel situations! All she ever did in this life is follow that fart of a man! But why does it feel like hell is just about to get started?!
"Having the time of our life are we princess?"
Thinking of ways to kill this annoying gargoyle in front of her, she ignored him. Can this man get a life!
"You know you can't ignore me forever. I would follow you around until you talk to me. Do you want me following you around princess? Wherever you go I .."
She definitely wouldnt want that creep follwing her, she defeatedly answered.
"What do you want brother?"
With a smirk of victory, her brother patted her head, which made her want to strangle him even more.
"I heard about your argument with dad"
Ah! That man! Couldn't keep his mouth shut.
She shrugged and continued eating.
"So I guess you plan to enter the entertainment industry. Would you be a singer? An actress? Oh! You could be an idol! It wouldn't take you long to debut since you're deadly talented. You could.."
"I'll be a crew assistant"
She deadpanned
"A what?!"
Is he deaf right now?
"Don't pretend you didn't hear me. Besides, he didn't go with specifics. His fault, not mine. So if you dont have anything else to say I'll get going now, I still have an appointment"
As she was about to leave, she remembered one thing.
"You can pay the bill"
And left.
"Now, where do I go?"
