Chapter 1: CHAPTER1:A NORMAL DAY. (OR SO I THOUGHT)
"Uwaaahhhhh!" I yawned as I stretched my arms up and rolled the tips of my toes.
That's a nice sleep. Even though I slept like 2 am already. What times is it anyways? I rubbed my eyes with my left hand and reach for my phone at my study desk.
"7:29AM. I see. Wait, 7:29? WAAHH!"
I quickly jump out of my bed then strip my clothes while rushing through the bathroom. I have never woked up this late before! Even though I always wake up late but not this late!
I quickly took a fast bath and Wear my uniforms. I came down the stairs and shove the lunch box my mom prepared.
My mom always go to work early in the morning. And because I always wake up so late, she just prepare my breakfast and school Lunch before leaving. I'm so lucky to have a mom who loves me and don't get mad at me easily. Like when I always stay up late and wake up late too. Apparently there's a bacon and egg breakfast prepared for me too. But I don't have the luxury to eat breakfast now because the class already started like many minutes ago. I usually wake up late but I don't get late at class and this is my first going late in my highschool.
I locked the door and rushed my way to the front gate of our school. Which is, in front of my house. Yeah, Hehe. That's why I don't usually get late even I wake up late.
"Is there any more later than this Mr. Arellano ?" A plain looking guy wearing a security guard uniform said to me.
"Hehe looking good today Mr. Fred!" I greeted him with an apologetic expression. I get along well with Mr. Fred because he's a good guy and my house is just in front of the school. I usually talked to him in weekends when his on duty and when I'm bored. But he's a funny guy too and we both like reading isekai mangas and Web novels.
"Stop with the flattering and get your ass on your classroom." He waved me away then flip the next page of the manga he is reading.
I finally arrived in front of our classroom. I peeked from the door at the back and saw Mrs. Smith writing some math equations.
Yosh! I just need to ninja my way on my seat! My seat is at the back too which is very lucky for me incase a scenario like this occurs. I lowered my head and walked slowly towards my seat. When I'm about to put my bag at the ground and seat.
"Oh! Mr. Arellano. You seemed to be to early for tomorrow's class?" Our teacher said out loud when she saw me. Then, my classmates burst out to laughter. I just rolled my eyes to them and apologised to my Math teacher by bowing slightly. Then I finally got to sit on my seat.
"Hey Zyron! I think you should go for a quick review. Mrs. Smith said earlier that we'll have a surprised test after she finished teaching that equations. I don't know if she forgot to tell you or something."
Yep that's my name! Zyron Arellano. A fascinating name isn't it? Yes it is right? IT IS! Anyways, I'm 16 and I live somewhere in manila. I hope I was living in Japan though.
And the girl right just now is my seat mate. Her name is Hanna. She is our class president! She is one of the cutest girls in our room. She is a genius too. And most importantly, she is my ex girlfriend, fufufu. Yes she is. Even though I'm only an average person, my looks is nothing to scoff at! Although I didn't get her to be her boyfriend because of my looks.
The truth is, she is an otaku too! But she is a balanced kind of otaku. Like she is not falling in grades because of reading mangas, Web novels or watching anime and she got many friends. That's a balanced otaku right? Right? ?? Anyways, I'm a balanced otaku too! It's just that I always stay up late playing MMORPG'S.
I gave her a nod then took my math workbook on my bag. Even though I'm always late in class and sleep, my grades are quite impressive too. But not as impressive as our class president's.
And with that, I finished my last minute review even before the test start. I glanced at my seat mate which is the class president and she incidently glanced back. I gave her a smug face and a thumbs up, means I finished reviewing. And she just smirked and rolled her eyes off me then focused again at the blackboard.
I did the same too. Though I am confident that I already know what our math teacher is discussing so I'm just facing front but my mind is drifting somewhere.
And then it happened. I just. Blinked and when I reopen my eyes, I was at space. Yes! I am in space! I mean, I always used space themed wallpaper on my pc and phone so I knew what galaxies or universe or space would look like, or so I thought. But the sight in front of me is unbelievably amazing and enormous. It made me feel like I am an non existent dot when I saw this and reminds me again of how small I am and how incomprehensiblly enormous the universe is.
There is a enormous smoke from afar that glowed brightly with blue and Violet appearance. It was embedded with countless small lights which is I believe, stars. This countless stars are everywhere I moved my eye. There is this darkness that occupied every empty space and highlighted the colors of the stars and nebulae.
This is truly amazing. But ,WHY AM I IN SPACE? WHY AM I IN SPACE! Important matters needs to be capitalised and said twice! What exactly happened and where am I! Is this an illusion? A new technology? Did my friends bought something like this to prank me?
But it is to realistic to be an illusion. Or, perhaps. Is this an cosmic revelation? A galactic being called me to warn me that a bunch of bad beings will invade our solar system and I am the only one who can stop them? That I am the chosen one?
"Young one, you are half correct and half wrong." A mysterious baritone voice that seems to reach the ends of space by its echoes called me.
I turned to the direction where the voice came from.
