Chapter 2: Changed
*Y-N Pov* 3 Months passed!
I'm making a coffee for myself thinking how everything was so perfect. Me and Jungkook would go to work together, he would take me to lunch or either dinner, we would watch a movie at holiday night's cuddling and sometimes I would join him to play video games.
I snapped out of my thoughts by my phone ringing. 'Bunny Calling'.
I hurriedly picked the phone smiling but before I could say anything I heard him speaking... "I will be late today, there's something important came up so don't wait for me. Eat the dinner and go to sleep."
"Hmm.." I hummed and he ended the call.
"I Miss You Jungkook....
I Miss The Old Us!"
I mumbled whimpering.
Yes, Jungkook has changed. He is behaving like this from last month. He is rarely at home and in the office he just treats me like any other employee. Now we don't go out often and he also stopped cuddling with me. At first I thought it it's because he is stressed at work. However, there's nothing to worry about work also. Our company is stable and running well.
Ahh I don't know what is wrong with him then. I tried asking him but failed miserably because he never pays much attention to me nowadays.
I'm worried if I did something wrong which is why he's angry on me?
*Jk Pov*
I got home late at night and Y-N was no where to be seen that means she has already been asleep. I entered the kitchen to grab a water bottle from the fridge when I noticed that that the food is still there untouched.
Haven't she eaten the dinner yet?
I question myself frowning.
I went upstairs to my room and as I stepped in I saw Y-N laying curled up on the bed. I sighed and was about to walk towards the washroom when I suddenly got freezed in my tracks after hearing a weak voice of Y-N.
"Ju- Jungkook!"
She called me and I couldn't resist that no matter how much I want to avoid her, I turned around and got near her. I sat beside her taking the hair strands away from the face and putting them at the back of her ears.
"Y-N you okay?"
I asked worryingly. She looked sick, pale and weak. Her face was flushed like she's been crying.
She nodded and asked back...
"Where were you?"
"I- I was with my friend to discuss some business plans."
I was taken aback at her question but managed to reply. I can see she wasn't moved with my statement but still gave me a smile.
"Did you eat?"
I asked her.
"Uhh I didn't have an appetite so not really."
She replied sitting back a little.
"Even if you don't have an appetite make sure you still eat something or else you'll get sick Y-N which I don't want it to happen!"
I said sternly getting little angry. She has not been taking care of herself recently and it is quite noticeable.
She nodded in reply. I got up and told her to eat dinner while I'm taking the shower.
"What about you Jungkook?"
She asked me showing her puppy eyes.
"I had it with my friend earlier"!
I replied and took my clothes before going to get freshen up.
Time skip *Y-N Pov*
I went downstairs to the kitchen. I put the food in a microwave and waited for it to get heated before eating. Now my mood was much better and I hit my head lightly for overthinking the bad scenarios over little things.
"It is nothing serious stupid. Jungkook loves you and would never think of hurting you. But still something is up so I hope whatever he's going through ends soon."
I sighed in relief talking to myself and had my dinner in peace.
*Jk Pov*
I'm standing under the warm water which is relaxing my tensed muscles.
Because of all that shit happening in my life I completely forgot about Y-N and barely spent time with her. But what to do I can't make myself look into her eyes . I feel sorry and it hurts me seeing her not eating, sleeping or focus on her work because of me.
"You are such an asshole Jk. She didn't deserve any of this"!
I stepped back in the room and saw Y-N making the bed.
"Are you done?"
She asked me smiling.
I don't remember when was the last time I saw her smiling like that so it really flustered me. I went near her and pecked her forehead whispering ....
"I'm sorry!" Which was barely audible.
"Hmm?" She looked at me.
"Nothing." I replied and turned away from her.
"You must be tired so come let's sleep together!" She said and pulled me onto the bed with her switching off the lights.
I wrapped my arms around her shoulders as she laid on my chest wrapping her arms tightly around my waist.
"You don't know how much I missed this!"
She said exhaling a deep breath.
I fell a tear dropped from the corner of my eyes soon joined by many non stop one's. When Y-N dozed off I kissed the top of her head and drifted to sleep holding her like my dear life depends on it.
*Y-N Pov*
(A week later.)
It's still the pretty same. Jungkook seems to have mood swings or what I don't really understand him nowadays. At one time he'll be so loving to me and the other time he'll act like I don't even exist. But it's okay, my love for him is enough even though sometimes I feel sad. I'll make the things better between us no matter what. Also he can't resist me for so long. 'Chuckles'.
Today is Jungkook birthday and I'm gonna surprise him . I told him in the morning that I got my periods so I won't be able to go office, that's not the lie though. But I've planned to take his favourite chocolate fudge cake and gifts which I've bought for him to the office at lunch and celebrate with him.
I started dressing up in a nice black dress when I got a call from my sister 'Sara'. I picked it up and put the phone on the speaker.
*On Call*
"Hey what's up girl!"
I exclaimed.
"Hi Y-N where are you?"
She asked.
'What's with the sudden question, ofcourse I'm at home getting ready for Jungkook's birthday surprise."
"Ahh right, you've told me that yesterday."
She said and sighed.
"Yup and you forget that."
She give me a nervous chuckle.
"Anyway why did you call?"
I asked finishing with my makeup up.
"Well remember you suggested me a restaurant..."
Sara said.
"Yeah, what about it?"
"I am here with my friends and I want you to join us."
She continued.
"That's nice but you know I can't really come today so make it some other time and it'll gonna be my treat."
I replied.
"No Y-N, I want you here right now that's it!"
"Sara, is everything fine?"
I asked her frowning.
"Yeah just come!"
She said.
"Ok ok, stop yelling I'll be there soon."
I finally agreed with her.
"Hmm, I'm waiting."
She replied and ended the call.
"Now what's wrong with her? Why everyone around me is acting like that."
I questioned myself and sighed thinking I still have time so before going to office I can go to meet Sara for awhile.
While on the call I completely got ready. I'm wearing a black dress with silver heels finishing the look with loose curls and matte makeup.
I took a brown cardigan from the wardrobe, grabbed the car keys, wallet and my phone from the table beside bed and left the house.
