Chapter 41: chapter 37
"You really cried like a baby, didn't you, Sakura-san?" Ryusuke spoke softly with a small smile while he covered Yae Sakura with a sheet from her bed.
After Ryusuke finished eating he asked Yae Sakura to hold his hand, as he had a surprise for her, Yae Sakura found this a little strange but she had no reason to refuse, she took his right hand. At that time Ryusuke was holding Jizo Mitama with his left hand, Ryusuke then brought Yae Sakura's conscience to Vila Yae.
Yae Sakura was very surprised to have returned to that place and when she started bombing Ryusuke with several questions she saw those two. She saw the only two people she would ever forget in her entire life.
She saw Kallen and Yae Rin there.
Initially Yae Sakura stayed there with a stunned expression and with wide eyes, she couldn't take any steps forward. At that moment she felt a small hand on her back and she was pushed.
"Sakura-san, this is not a dream, it is all real. They are there waiting for you, so don't restrain yourself and go give them a very strong hug." Ryusuke spoke to her. And just this simple push was enough to make Yae Sakura run straight to Kallen and Yae Rin.
When Yae Sakura arrived at them she hugged them, she started to cry a lot for the longing she felt for them and the happiness of being able to see them again. Kallen and Yae Rin hugged her too and let her cry until she calmed down. They were also happy to see Yae Sakura again.
Ryusuke had a satisfied smile when he saw this scene.
After crying for almost an hour Yae Sakura calmed down, she then asked why they were here and how it was possible.
Then Ryusuke started to explain about his natural stigma and how he found Kallen and Yae Rin within the Stigmata of Herrscher of Binding.
Yae Sakura thanked Ryusuke very much, she was very grateful and happy to have met him. And Ryusuke replied that she didn't need to exaggerate much in her thanks because he considers her to be part of his family, after all they lived together for more than three years. It would be difficult for him not to care about her after all this.
And Ryusuke also cares about Kallen and Yae Rin.
After that Yae Sakura talked a lot with Kallen and Yae Rin and it had been two hours since she arrived at the Stigmata space in Yae village. Unfortunately Ryusuke was already starting to get tired because he needed to be careful with Yae Sakura's conscience. So Ryusuke and Yae Sakura had to leave the Stigmata space.

Ryusuke saw that Yae Sakura was very tired so he took her to her room. All this time she had placed an immense burden on herself because she thinks everything bad was happening because of her, and she has also lived with a large empty hole in her heart since she separated from Kallen and Yae Rin.
But now that she has finally reunited with them everything has changed, now she feels that the future can be full of happiness and hope. It was because she took that huge burden from her heart that she could finally relax quietly.
Ryusuke carried Yae Sakura on his back and he went up the stairs to her room, where he put her to bed and covered her with a sheet.
"Have sweet dreams, Sakura-san." Ryusuke spoke as he leaves the room and goes towards the kitchen.
When he arrives at the kitchen he opens the fridge and picks up a can of soda, he opened the can and took a sip of soda. After he took the sip of soda he looked out the window and saw the moon in the sky full of stars.
He had a worried expression on his face.
"And now? What do I do?"
Ryusuke was very concerned about his current life. He did not lie when he said that he considers Yae Sakura as part of his family. In Ryusuke's past life he did not know his parents because they died when he was too young to remember them, the one who took care of him was his uncle on his father's side, his life with his uncle was quite normal, there was no abuse and he was not even mistreated there. It was a normal life, but as Ryusuke lived only with his uncle he had no maternal figure in his mind.
After living 3 years with Yae Sakura he already considers her as a maternal figure for him, so he already considers her as his family. And that is why he is concerned.
Ryusuke still doesn't know if World Serpent already knows about him, but if they know he has the Herrscher of Corruption with him then they will start a total war against him. World Serpent is an organization founded by some surviving MANTIS from the Previous Age so it is clear that they would be aware of what happened at that time. They know about the efforts of humanity in that era and how they ended up failing in the end. Knowing all the projects created by ancient humanity and how these projects failed, they decided to start the only project that had not been started, the STIGMA project.
Unfortunately the STIGMA project has a tiny success rate and could be considered a failure because of the number of deaths it will cause.
But what if they use the power of Corruption to awaken the dormant Stigmatas in people's genes?
If that organization knows that the Herrscher of Corruption is in Ryusuke then they will spare no effort to capture it.
What about Ryusuke deciding to join them willingly? He will never do that. He knows that the only possible ending for him in that place is to be dissected in the sick experiments of those madmen. Each member of that organization is religious fanatics who treat MANTIS and ancient humanity as gods who fought against Honkai. So it is clear that the treatment that a Herrscher would receive from there will be worse than hell.
The only reason Raiden Mei was not captured and killed on a Jackal experiment table was mainly because of Kevin's influence, for he gave direct orders not to do this against her.
"Morgan..."
[ Yes, master? Do you want anything? ]
"I want you to tell me how much Honkai energy I have inside my body."
[ Master understanding. Just wait a moment ... ]
Morgan responded and started checking. After 5 seconds Morgan returned.
[ Master, the amount of Honkai energy inside your body is 1813 HW ] Morgan replied.
"I understand. Thank you, Morgan..." Ryusuke thanked Morgan.
*sigh*
Ryusuke let out a discouraged sigh. He knew that with that amount of Honkai energy he would not stand a chance against the World Serpent.
Even though Ryusuke has the stigmata of Herrscher of Binding he is just a human who has Herrscher's Stigmata, he is not even a complete Herrscher. And he also has only one Divine Key incomplete with him.
Even Sirin, the second Herrscher of that era, she had 4 Herrscher Gem with her in addition to her original Herrscher core, she had the power of at least 5 different Herrscher and yet she was defeated by humanity.
So it is obvious that Ryusuke would lose in a direct battle against the World Serpent. Binding's Stigmata does not yet have a very strong power to kill people in a few seconds. Although Ryusuke does not currently need to fear rank-A Valkyries as they would be in an impotent state before him there were still rank-S Valkyries that despite being a little weakened they would still have an extraordinary fighting capacity.
And Jizo Mitama despite having good hacking skills and although he may be able to control some mechs, this Divine Key cannot use its full power.
Ryusuke is not weak, but there are people and organizations that he would not be able to overcome with his current power.
"What should I do to protect my family and peaceful lifestyle?" Ryusuke asked but there was no one to answer his question.
Ryusuke was silent with his eyes closed for almost an hour, he was thinking about what to do to protect himself. The soda in his hand was already natural and lost all gas.
And then Ryusuke opened it, in his eyes there was determination to realize the stupid idea he just had. He had already traced the path of the plan that would guarantee a little protection for him and Yae Sakura.
"Okay, it's time to start planning the Serenity Gem theft." Ryusuke had a small bold smile when he said that.
The theft of Serenity Gem, one of Sirin's 4 Herrscher Gem, will be the first step in his plan.
He took all the soda at once.
"It is a pity that this can is already natural and has lost all gas..." Ryusuke complained with an ironic smile a little because of the soda.
