Chapter 2: I shall devour, I shall not be content
*Huh, where am I...?*
I inquired, as I suddenly found myself in a dark mercury colored void that seemed to endlessly expand, and devour any energy it came in contact with.
*Why am I here? How did I get here…? Why can't I remember anything?*
I try to observe my body, but I could barely see anything at all. I could only see a thin ghost of an outline. Which should be my body
*So dark, It's like the sun disappeared. And took every ray of light with it.*
*The sun...*
I feel like I'm forgetting something. But the dark mercury void interrupted me, by condensing around me. Which followed up with a wave of nausea. Suddenly flowing into me.
My head started to spin.
I feel so drowsy, and ill
While groaning in my imagination. I shook my head, yet it did not ease the unpleasant feeling.
*Oh, my head*
*At least I have all my limbs. I was starting to get worried for a sec.*
Interrupting my thoughts. Another wave of nausea invaded me. Flowing into my entire being.
And it increased, as rapid thoughts flew around my head. I feel like throwing up.
, *ha... I don't think I could do that, even if I wanted to.*
A groan tries to escape from me. But was restricted to my thoughts.
I tried to open my mouth, only to notice that I never had one since I came here. It felt weird and unnatural, like a talkative person trying to go a full day with tape covering their mouth.
*Where's this nauseu coming from?* I wondered in displeasure.
But then, out of nowhere. Another, more intense wave of nausea smacked my entire body.
*what the heck is happening*
Nausea to my outstoundment and misfourtune hits me even stronger, making my thoughts falter. I could feel my consciousness, slowing. Everything was so dark and nauseating.
*Maybe I should just...stop thinking... * My mind starts to blur.
As I felt my self growing weaker and weaker. I by chance noticed some type of energy, condensing.
*Forming?*
Out of nowhere. A pair of light grey feet, could be seen forming. Only one or three meters, away from me. I still couldn't see much, yet the lighter shade of the forming feet. Made it easier to see than most things. Actually, it was the only thing I could see at all. Since I couldn't even see myself.
*now that I'm thinking about it. It's more like I'm sensing it*.
In all this darkness. It's as if the figure is a halo of light. *Though it's only feet right now. I can tell it will grow into a humanoid.*
A headache is beginning to form in my head. Making my head feel even worse *Forget it, why do I even care about a growing pair of feet.* Yet my head was still glued towards the growing form in the dark void. The previous pair of feet now became legs.
*It looks so interesting, so special in the dark void*. I thought, in awe and jealously.
It is trying to become something. When it's already brighter than me. *When it's already better than me...*
*Why can it be so light?*. I continued to look at the newly formed legs.
*Why can it be seen, when I can't even see myself*. I noticed that it released a low hum of energy. Even though it seemed to be absorbed by the unforgiving void.
*Absorbed...*
I started to feel drowsy. Time seemed to slow. My mind began to numb. At least my headache is starting to subside. My nausea is too, it would be so easy to just
"(~Fall asleep)", it would be so easy to just "(~sink into the darkness)"
Again the light grey form, from before popped into my mind. *It's not fair*, I located the form again, and this time. I could see a chest forming. *It's not fair*. My numbness and the remnants of nausea began to completely disappear. In its place was a mind-numbing jealously. Along with an insatiable Envy *It's not fair!*
I glared at the light grey forming body. Which was beginning to form a neck? I glared at the grey body with all my might. *Why can it become something?!*. My face began to twist into a crease. That resembled a deep frown. My frown deepened and deepened. And I could imagine my eyes spreading open too. Until it practically stretched off my face. Rage started to bubble inside me.
Really This rage turned darker, and darker. Until it could absorb the void itself.
Something deep, deep down inside me. Somewhere in the heart of my soul. Awakened, and at that moment. My deep frown, turned into a maniacal smile. I looked towards the light grey, humanoid body. Which now had a head, and what seemed to be blue pearls for eyes. They began to shine, and the entire light grey humanoid's body that formed before me began to hum.
My maniacal smile changed instantly, and the lower middle half of my face. Forcibly ripped open
"IT'S NOT FAIR!" I roared. As I leaned forward and launched towards the light grey humanoid who's blue eyes glowed brighter than an angelfish in the dark.
It trembled slightly, visibly shaken . A blue forcefield began to quickly materialize. taking on the shape of a dome. But I was quicker,
and using my pent up emotions as fuel. I brutishly proceeded to slam the forcefield
with both of my fists. Before the forcefeild could fully materialize.
Assisted with my kinetic energy, the blue forcefield was shattered. Which was amazingly satisfying to watch. But I won't spare one second, doing anything except destroying this shiny bast*rd.
My left arm reached reached out on it's own. And I clenched the light grey humanoid's neck with my hand. Then I glared down at it's trembling blue marble-like eyes. While glaring at his right eye. I proceeded to rip it out, with my right hand subsequently, blue essence. Flooded out of its eyehole like vapor.
I tossed the humanoids marble-like eyeball into my mouth and ate it like hard candy. I then cruelly plugged my finger inside of its eyehole. Which was shooting out some weird, blue essence. Doing this, stopped the flow and left a tingly feeling in my hand. Feeling pleased with my self, I opened my newly attained mouth.
"HAHAHA, how does it feel you piece of sh*t." I barked at the humanoid. Then using my left hand, I ripped out its other eye. And kept it in my left hand
. As my right hand was busy managing the essence flow. But essence flowed out of his left eye now.
looking at his essence going to waste. I put my mouth on it's leaking eye hole. And greedily absorbed it into my body. A innocent, soft warm current flowed towards my stomach.
I instantly felt different. My mind started to forcefully relax.
-what am I doing?- The thought crept through my mind. Yet I continued absorbing it's innocent essence.
*this warm current flowing through me feels so pure...* I began to feel confusion, as the blue essence flowed inside me.
-Why am I doing this?-
Feeling deeply confused. I stopped absorbing the blue essence. And plugged the eyehole once more. Preventing it from leaking. While I was confused the blue energy inside me. Changed direction and began to reverse flow, and tried to come out of me. feeling the essence leaving, the awakened feeling from before clicked.
*I shall devour, I SHALL NOT BE CONTENT!*
I closed my mouth and clamped my nose. preventing the energy from escaping. Slowly I regained control.
Eventually the essence flow began to slow down. But I simply pulled out my right hand. Which was previously inside of the humanoids right eyehole. And watched as essence flowed out of the right eyehole. This time flowing slower than it was at first. But still faster than the left eye. So I began to absorb the essence again.
I could see the light grey humanoid start to become noticeably duller. And become more transparent. After awhile, I stopped, seeing that the light grey humanoid. Became darker, and very transparent. Similar to the way I looked, once I first entered this void.
suddenly I stopped, not satisfied with it dying this way.
I looked at the blue-marble like eye, still in my left hand. Which seemed to stare at me. Asking me, what did I do wrong? *Hmph, exist.* I evilly thought.
I noticed that it was beginning to lose its shimmer. Thinking about the light grey humanoid. I squeezed the eye with all my strength. As I glared at it.
The blue marble-like eye, soon began to crack, and then shattered completely. Turning into an essence, similar to the essence that was gushing from the humanoids body before. Only purer, and more bright.
I sucked up the essence greedily. Causing a warm current to flow through my body. Getting rid of any previous ailments. A low snicker could be heard. Which then turned into a louder Giggle. Which then became a maniacal fit of laughter.
Darker than the void around him. Which seemed to cower in fear. As a large evil grin. Laid itself on my face. A radiant red aura began to surround me. And even illuminated my tall power brimming. Well chiseled, phantom like body. As I looked at the eyeless paling humanoid. I finally said with a mocking smile on my face. "I am brighter than you."
