Chapter 14: Chp 14 : Siun Is a Mixed Child?
Siun overheard all of this... somehow seeing his family getting so excited about might being able to heal his illness made him feel an emotion he had never felt in his previous life before.
[Siun : Alright! I'll use this opportunity to get rid of this headache I wake up with every morning! Then I can finally go outside!... To find the hero!]
[Tex : You know that your headache cant be cured even by those saints right?]

[Siun : I-I know... but still! If there's a chance, I'll take it!]

Even though Siun absolutely knew what Tex said was true, Siun was still willing to try anything to get healed... but this time he wasn't doing it to be able to go find the hero. Tex knew that Siun was doing all this to make Elena and Silas happy, so that they will be able to spend time outside bonding as a family.

Elena quickly walked to Siun who was currently staring and pointing at an eagle. The mother chuckled proudly because of her 3 year old son's curiosity.
"Don't you think they look cool Siun? We should be proud that we have such a majestic animal representing our country!"
"Yes mom! I also heard that some people in Xinthri have wind powers! Do you or father have any?"
Elena looked at her son surprised, she had never taught her 3 year old son anything about this topic before. But she quickly dismissed her suspicions as she was super happy at how smart her son was!
"Hehehe my little son is curious I see... look over at that tree!"
Siun quickly twisted his head and looked at the massive oak tree, expecting to see a huge gust of wind blow away all the leaves on the tree.

"Mom... I dont see anything?"
"Huh really?? didn't you see that leaf fall from the tree?"

[Siun : Tex... I think I was tricked! My mom doesn't have any powers! Damn I really wanted to see some cool magic!]
[Tex : No something definitely did happen. She used her powers to make a single leaf fall from the tree]

[Siun : Uhm... Do you not know what wind is? It could've been just a normal breeze!]
[Tex : Stop with your sarcasm! You should be proud of your mom! She's just an side character yet she could use some magic!]
[Siun : ...The world is truly unfair...]

"Uhm... sorry mom, but the oak tree was too far away."
After Siun said that Elena looked down and let out a slight frown.
"Uhm..." Siun didn't know what to say, he accidently made his mother sad.
"Hahaha, of course our little boy couldn't see it dear! He doesn't have the eyes of a Seux like me! Maybe he does... But the boy is too young to know how to use them yet!"
Hearing this Elena was suddenly back to her normal self, filled with joy.
"Hehehe, our little Siun is so talented that I sometimes forget he is just 3!"
[Siun : Eh? Tex I dont understand?]
[Tex : You know you can ask them right? Your their son so they will probably tell you]

"Dad, what do you mean I dont know how to use my eyes yet?"
"Huhuhu, so your finally interested in your dad! Have you ever noticed how I'm wayy taller and muscular than most people here?"
"The only person I ever see other than you is mom!"

*ahem* "H-haha... Anyways what I meant to say was that compared to the people here at Xinthri, I am more tall and muscular than them because I came here from Seux, and the people from Seux are more physically stronger than the people here and can see from a much longer distance! They can even use fire magic too!"
"Wooow! Dad is so cool! other than having good eye sight can you also use fire magic?"
"Sadly your dad is not talented like your mom and cant use any magic unlike her!"
The pair of husband and wife looked at each other and giggled.

[Tex : Hey your being rude to your mother! Let me remind you that you cant even use magic!]
[Siun : But Silas said that I would be able to use Seux's eyes? Isn't that some sort of magic?]
[Tex : No you idiot, those are the things that people from Seux are born with and dont count as magic, and since you have the blood of both a Seux and a Xinthri when you grow up you will be able to see things from a far distance and also move around very quickly]
[Siun : Not gonna lie, that's a pretty good combo of skills to have!]
