Chapter 10: CP : 10 - Nefarrior

I needed to make a precise shot with the bow I had in my hand.

Furthermore, I shouldn't stand too close during the Daze Spell to avoid the magic, but if I stayed too far, I wouldn't be able to deliver the finishing blow in time.

"I apologize, my bald friend."

I drew the bowstring taut. The target I had chosen was a bald man with a large head.

[Name: Aulta]

[Race: Human]

[Gender: Male]

[Strength: 50]

[Agility: 43]

[Physical Resistance: 78]

[Spiritual Resistance: 66]

[Mana: 100]

[Skills: "Master of Longsword," "Throw," "Passive Regeneration"]

His name was Aulta. He was the leader and the strongest member of the bandit group.

The plan was simple. He would use the Daze Spell when I signaled, and after that, I would kill Aulta.

I released the already drawn bow.

"AGGGHH!?"

Aulta let out a surprised and painful sound as the arrow entered his neck. While his voice wasn't too loud, his groan was enough to frighten everyone.

I started running towards Aulta. Suddenly, everyone's bodies were frozen. All that was left was to deliver the final blow.

I closed the distance between Aulta and me. I made a move to take Aulta's sword.

He must have sensed it because he tried to intervene with his hand, but his efforts were not enough.

["Picker" ability activated. "Master of Longsword" gained for 3 hours.]

After taking the sword, I wanted to make a swift cut, but four seconds had already passed. The other bandits had started gathering around their leader.

"Why did Haen use his ability?"

The skinny and feeble bandit shouted. He looked at Haen with a bewildered expression.

Haen was the slave who had used the Daze Spell. Haen walked towards me. He raised his sword.

"Soon, we'll be on the side of the real winners, my brothers."

Haen addressed the other side with a smile on his face.

Aulta's face began to fill with anger, but he still struggled to move. If I didn't hurry, his recovery would be a matter of time.

I advanced with my sword in hand. I needed to kill the bandits as efficiently as possible. My remaining slaves were still on the enemy side.

My running prompted the bandits to charge towards me. Thanks to the "Picker" ability, I was skillfully using the sword.

[1× Bandit Killed. Your slave is resurrecting.]

[Reward: Skill Card]

With a firm and heavy motion, I had split someone in half. This move made the other bandits fearful, and they started to maintain their distance.

But their friends had already started to resurrect. The halves of their friends' bodies had rejoined.

Everyone watched this moment in fear. Some of the terrified bandits remained frozen in place.

The three slaves left behind were scared and confused but attacked those who were in shock from behind.

[1× Bandit Killed. Your slave is resurrecting.]

To be honest, their reaction was excessive. These bandits were monsters who raided villages and killed people who couldn't defend themselves.

[1× Bandit Killed. Your slave is resurrecting.]

However, their friends betraying them and the resurrected friends fighting against them scared them. They used to kill defenseless people every day.

[1× Bandit Killed. Your slave is resurrecting.]

The fear and the look of surrender on their faces indicated that I needed to dismember them.

[1× Bandit Killed. Your slave is resurrecting.]

I was distracted by Aulta. He was trying to kill himself. I guess he believed that if he killed himself, he would be free from this curse.

Or maybe he wanted to take a few things he knew to the grave with him.

Aulta picked up the sword on the ground and cut his own throat. I still had time. I rushed to where Aulta was writhing on the ground.

[1× Bandit Killed. Your slave is resurrecting.]

But before I could reach him, Haen had gone to deliver the final blow.

"Please stop!"

[1× Bandit Killed. Your slave is resurrecting.]

[1× Bandit Killed. Your slave is resurrecting.]

Screams were rising. Some had already wet themselves. I found a spot to sit and started watching.

[1× Bandit Killed. Your slave is resurrecting.]

Some were trying to escape, but I didn't give them the chance.

[1× Your slave is killed. Your slave will resurrect as a "Nefarrior," a subrace of the "Nefarion" dungeon.]

I focused on the spot where my slave had died.

I guess I had to join the battle again. A group of 15 bandits was still fighting together. Those who had already accepted defeat were already dead.

This group was more experienced than the others. But at the end of the day, the only winner could be me.

20 minutes later, everyone on the battlefield was dead.

Three of my slaves were severely injured. I killed the severely injured ones with my own hands. After all, I didn't have enough elixirs to give them. Along with them, 14 slaves resurrected as "Nefarriors."

Among the remaining 18 slaves, some were injured, but their injuries weren't that serious.

"Nefarrior" slaves turned into warrior monsters after they died. These bandits were my slaves, and they were "Nefarriors," a subrace kf the Nefarion dungeon.

They couldn't leave the dungeon. Of course, "Nefarriors" had their own sub-race among themselves.

[Nefarrior]

[Nefadow]

[Nefakkin]

[Nefairit]

[Nefamon]

The more successful they were in their slave lives, the higher species they evolved into.

Unfortunately, once the "Nefarrior" race was determined, their species never changed again.

I guess I didn't need to think about this now. I could raise the level of the dungeon, but first, I had to go and talk to Aulta.
