Each of them had a total stat value of over 7000. This was definitely a significant threat.
Most likely, they had come to the castle to neutralize it, and therefore me.
With each step, I felt I was getting closer to death. I needed to return to the cabin for now. They might have abilities to expose me.
Silently, I moved through the crowd. I wanted to reach the cabin as quickly as possible.
Could I stop them? Find something to hide my dungeon? And what about the pen... I had just finished it.
Wouldn't the system help me in times like this? Maybe I should undertake a quest with a high reward...
I quickly started looking at quests... I needed to find something to save me from this situation...

I quickly headed to the eastern dungeon. I needed to complete a quest there.
A few minutes later, guards came into view. I was bound, as making any noise would attract attention.

I was startled by the voice coming from behind me. The voice was unfamiliar. Could I have been followed here?
I slowly turned my face towards my back.
"I'm new to the town. Just exploring the area."
The voice belonged to an "Assiom's Children" hunter, a man named "Hakie." Was he a warrior? Or perhaps a knight? I honestly had no idea.
But his stats were definitely on par with Massahin and the others.
"It's not a problem if you accompany me."
He still looked suspicious. While I found it uncomfortable, I couldn't show it.
"Of course, no problem. I would be glad if you accompany me. May I have your name?"
"Cern, my name is Cern..."
He had lied about his name, but I had no choice but to play the game as he wanted.
"Orion, just Orion. I guess you know quite a bit about this town. You don't look like a stranger."
"Yes, you could say that."
As the day progressed, I had toured the entire town. It was very likely that he had been following me from the beginning.
But I still didn't understand why he had intervened. The others might also be watching us closely. They might have known everything from the start.

"System, can you tell Elly and the others to open a tunnel from here to the underground prison?"

"Do you think he's the one we're looking for?"
The woman in the white robe spoke, playing with her wand.
"I don't know, his movements are suspicious, but he might just be an overly foolish person."
Hakie replied with a calm voice.
"He's been seen around the prison's vicinity, both yesterday and today. He likely knows what's inside."
The man with thick eyebrows spoke with a stern look.
"Yes, Omai is right. They should keep following him for now. Remember, no intervention. If we catch the wrong person, the real culprit may escape."
