Chapter 26: Chapter 26: Worse than Conquerors Haki

"Boy, what did you do to Kuzan?"

Garp really couldn't understand what happened to Aokiji. He was not injured at all, but he was holding his stomach as if he was seriously injured.

"Why do you think I'm going to tell you?"

Luo Ning asked with some puzzlement, even if there is no way to resist soul damage or repair soul damage in this world, why did he tell the other party? They are enemies now.

"Never mind. I guess you don't want to talk about it. New question: where are you headed next? Impel Down ain't exactly a vacation spot."

Garp, for all his strength, was helpless. Why bother explaining how to fight Aokiji? It's not like the others are crazy.

Still, Garp cut through the confusion with the most important question. If that good-for-nothing Marine sent the last attack plan, what about this time?

"I feel good about this prison, so, I plan to make a home here"

Garp, expecting a swift departure, didn't expect such an answer. The guards around grimaced – the idea of this guy staying put was pure torture. This was their territory, after all.

"You... what the hell?"

Even Garp, the guy who smacked down the whole Third Generation of pirates, couldn't believe his ears. What kind of messed up plan is this? Makes no sense!

"Something wrong, old man? I like it here, figured I'd stick around."

Luo Ning just said the same thing again.

"This is Impel Down! A giant underwater prison! Why would you wanna live here?"

Garp scratched his head. This opponent was a nightmare, way troublesome than any Marines ever seen. But instead of causing chaos and freeing the prisoners, he just wanted to... live there?

The Marines decided to let it slide, figuring they'd deal with Luo Ning later.

But now he wasn't leaving? Settling in? No way. Even turning a blind eye wasn't an option anymore.

"Hey, I came here thanks to you Marines. Leaving ain't that simple. Ever heard the saying 'easier to invite someone than get rid of one'? This place is my new home. You mess up, you gotta pay, and now, that's the price"

Luo Ning had his own agenda. He aimed to turn Impel Down into his own independent force, free from any outside control. The sea was crawling with scum, especially those Celestial Dragons. He wouldn't mind tossing a few of them in for fun later.

"You..."

Garp is speechless. He wanted to punch some sense into those stupid Marines.

For now, Garp decided to leave. The guy seemed to be just settling down and wouldn't cause trouble. Sengoku could deal with the headache. After all, Garp was just a Vice Admiral. As long as things didn't fall apart, he wasn't interested in extra work.

"Hold on there! You think you can just walk out?"

Luo Ning wasn't thrilled to see Garp and his crew leaving. All that experience, just walking away?

"What's that supposed to mean?"

Garp and the others tensed up immediately.

"Like it ain't obvious? You shove whoever you want in this prison, send troops to fight me, then bounce? Not happening."

A smirk played on Luo Ning's lips. Then, a terrifying Reiatsu burst forth. A beam of power shot skyward, and a wave of dread washed over everyone. Everyone froze.

Even Rear Admiral was stunned by this Reiatsu, and Vice Admirals was also greatly affected. It is estimated that half of his combat power cannot be exerted now.

"H-how could there be such a powerful Conqueror's Haki!"

The remaining Vice Admirals stared at Luo Ning in horror. This Conqueror's Haki, it was too damn domineering.

"Stronger than Whitebeard or Roger? No way! This ain't Conqueror's at all! Feels similar, but definitely not the real deal."

Garp, a veteran of dealing with Haki users, could recognize Conqueror's a mile away. This attack mimicked it, but even Whitebeard and Roger's Haki wasn't this terrifying.

Everyone still conscious – Vice Admirals at least – felt their combat power plummet. How the hell could Conqueror's do this?

He'd never seen Conqueror's Haki reach this level in his entire life.

"Not Conqueror's Haki?!"

Gion and the others were shocked, but Garp was their leader. They trusted his judgment.

"Looks like I gotta pay a visit to Marine HQ then!"

Luo Ning's eyes gleamed as he watched the free points rack up. The soldiers on those dozen warships were meant to quell the Impel Down riot, so there were a bunch of them. Now, they were all Luo Ning's points.
