"Hey, Paula," Heaven called when Leo excused himself, watching Paula raise her brows slightly. "Didn't you have a huge crush on Senior Wu back then?"

"What?"

"Are you happy that you're going to work on a project with him?" Heaven smiled amicably. "I'm really happy for you, my dearest best friend. I'm glad you're fulfilling your dreams one by one."

Paula opened and closed her mouth for a moment. "Thanks," she muttered, clearing her throat as she sighed. 

"Heaven, you're not angry, are you?" Paula stretched her hand to hold Heaven's hand. 

"Why would I be angry?"

"You don't have to put up a brave front, Heaven. I know you and Senior Wu used to have a thing — he is your first love, after all." Paula pressed her lips into a thin line, squeezing Heaven's hand mildly. "Everything about us is all about work, that's all."
