Chapter 50: Family matters

When Heaven heard how Dominic handled the situation at first, it didn't make sense to her. No matter what angle she looked at it, it just seemed Dominic favored the other party instead of his son. This upset her, obviously.

What would Sebastian feel about his father's action?

Heaven was already a neglectful mother, and then his father wouldn't take his side. Thinking about what would Sebastian feel upset her. It was the main reason she provoked the woman. If only Heaven had more power in the household, she wouldn't mind dragging the situation to court and blowing it out of proportion. However, she had caused enough trouble for her husband and son that she couldn't afford to add more. Thus, she sacrificed her face.

"I'm not kind, Heaven. Was your perception of me changed because of this?"

Yes. Heaven's perception of him changed. However, not in a way he would expect.
