Chapter 19: Diary of Oblivion (1)
I remember when I first started being.
I was lonely.
This loneliness stayed with me for an unrecorded amount of time.
That was until I made 'them'.
My children.
Reality, the quietest one. Never disturbing me too much and everytime he did, it was always to say hello.
That's why I loved him.
Void, the ambitious one. She always had dreams of leaving the little area I had re-purposed for us to live in.
Dreams were still dreams in the end.
Chaos, the violent one. He and Reality never got along. He was always pestering him just for the fun of it.
Rowdy one he was.
Destiny, the protective one. She always doted on her younger siblings and mediated fighting between them.
She was so calm and soothing.
Me as a parent, watched over my children play and talk to eachother in joy and splendour.
One of the things I persuaded my children to do was writing. It was an impulse on my part, after making a language to talk to my children with I decided to make a written language.
This was the earliest profession, a writer, started to take shape.
I had all my children write one book, regardless of the content for me to immortalise.
They all settled on making a monologue of events that happened in an extended period of time.
They named it diary entries.
All of them loved writing in their diaries. This was the only time there was silence in or area, when writing.
Eons pasted like minutes to me, and whilst I was enjoying Reality's company, he along with my other children became one with the surroundings.
As did their diaries.
My heart dropped and something within me snapped. I didn't know how powerful I was until that moment. I destroyed our old living space to such a fine level, molecular and it are universes apart.
I looked everywhere for my children.
But they weren't near.
The only place they could have been was outside.
But I couldn't leave the space.
I couldn't see out of it either.
I had not sparked the ambition to leave my little area, but at that point I knew I needed to take a look outside.
