Chapter 1: Re-Life!!
"I just think that the risk is too high, imagine. Out of the contract deal of 200 million dollars, how does our damn company only get 5 million!!" A bald man shouted, he was clearly outraged even though he had nothing to do with the financial problems of Lezwork.
"Relax, it's not like you have anything to do with it, imagine all the stress the manager is going through. He's probably in the office right now ripping his hair off because soon he'll go broke." The blond man in the restaurant coolly replied.
The bald man looked infuriated, clearly not happy about the attitude his friend was showing. It was as if the matter of how he would continue to live comfortably did not lie on the situation at hand.
"Just chill Zach , all i'm saying is that either the manager would try to go into hiding by giving someone the company, so that when it eventually falls everyone will target the blame to the person." The blonde man said before continuing "Or he'll fire everyone before leaving with the money, which doesn't sound likely."
The blond haired man got up and started walking away.
"Wait there Alex" Zach called to Alex, but Alex paid no heed to him and walked out of the restaurant.
'I need to put a reminder on my phone to mail Zach a book on how to control his anger, a new book should be mailed everyday or else' Alex thought as he shuddered.
'I wonder how i haven't gotten a girlfriend in my life i'm 30 now, and i haven't gotten a girlfriend in my life'
'But somehow it doesn't annoy me, i'm content with my life even if i'm a bachelor for life. I'm okay with it' Those were the thoughts Alex had when he entered the bank to withdraw some money.
As he arrived, he was welcomed warmly by a long line, the line beckoned at him to join the family for a few hours.
Alex groaned as he entered the line, he could've gone and come back later but he needed the money for the foodstuff because he had no cash on hand.
He stood in the line annoyed, waiting for what seemed like an hour.
'How can a line be so fucking long, i have been standing here for a fucking hour and yet this fucked up line hasn't moved an inch' Alex cursed in his mind, even though nobody would hear him.
Suddenly a gunshot was heard from the back of Alex, on instinct he fell down to prevent the supposed bullet from hitting him. But when he looked up he saw a bullet hole on the ceiling.
Apart from Alex, as soon as the gunshot was heard they ran in different directions.
The shooter let out a laugh, but as soon as he let it out Alex traced the laugh to a man behind him.
"Shut up!!" The man barked to the people screaming "Take us to the vault."
Five more people wearing heavy armor and masks came through the door, don't forget the loaded miniguns.
"What's the hold up?" One of them asked.
"The people aren't moving, something's wrong" The first one to come through the door said.
"It's not that, the people just need motivation," he turned his face to Alex "Like for example. A dead body!!!" He shouted the last part as he shot a bullet from the loaded shotgun at Alex, who was shocked as he saw the bullet flying towards him.
Fear gripped Alex as he saw the bullet coming at him, in truth the bullet came in only five seconds, but that was the longest five seconds Alex had ever felt in his life.
His life flashed before his eyes, how unfair life had been for him, the reason he developed his carefree attitude and many more.
He died.
Alex didn't know how he fell, he was just on the floor while other people were screaming.
'I'm I seriously going to die like this, no love, no girlfriend, and no paycheck.'
'In my next life, i'm gonna capture all the beauties' Those were Alex's last words before he died.
