Chapter 12: The outside world
The cool breeze brushed against my hard skin, after living in that hellish place before, it was nice not to be surrounded by heat for once. The area that was surrounding me was a huuuuuuuge forest, like the size of Europe big. They really weren't kidding when they said the worlds were absolutely massive, this was just the first of the 5 worlds in Horizon. The world I'm living on, Thorin, is said to be 10 times as big as Earth and it only gets bigger from there.
"Crunch"
A branch snapped next to me, a young man was crouched and holding a large silver sword. He was wearing a green shirt and brown pants with light armour over the top of it. With his hair brown, he almost camouflaged with the bark of the trees. As I turned to face him, the large sword in his hands was slowly raised and he began to shake. I'm fairly certain it was out of fear, as if to steady himself, he yelled as he charged at me with the giant sword of his and swung.
I used inspect whilst he was moving, the speed of his blade almost negligible to me
Lv2 Player: Jacob Class: Knight
Huh I wonder why it doesn't show me his HP and stuff, maybe its because he is a player, oh well. He has even got a Class, maybe he has some strength. Though the speed of his sword is veeeerrrryyyy slow, he should be able to inflict some damage seeing as he is a Knight.
"Clang"
The sword hit my side with little force and it barely left a mark, maybe I still am overpowered. This was my time to shine, I raised my claw and struck out, blood spurted out of the man's neck as he fell to the floor clutching his throat. That was wayyyyyy too easy.

WHAT THE HELL?!!!! Why did he give so much XP? Hehehe if all players give this much, I can Level Up like crazy! Mwahahahahaha no one will be safe, unless they are a cute girl of coarse, I may be a demon but I'm not evil.
With new energy rushing through my body, I casually walked though the green forest without fear of stronger opponents. As I walked through the forest I found multiple creatures that interested me, for example
Lv1 Horned Clover Snake
HP:5/5
It was a light green snake that seemed to have adapted to blend into the surrounding grass of the forest, a clover sprung from its head and acted the further its camouflage. That wasn't the interesting part though, the snake tried to head butt me instead of attacking me with its fangs. Of course the snake did minimal damage to me as I am so very amazing.
I continued to walk through the forest without a care in the world, within five minutes I found a party of Players, they look like the average party, ya know, a Healer, a Rogue, a Mage and a Knight. They are the main classes but this game has soooo many more classes than those four. They talked amongst each other, laughing and having fun, it was a shame that they ran into me. The Knight was Lv3, so was the Rogue, the Healer was Lv1 and the Mage Lv2, this would be too easy. After seeing their levels, I sprung into action towards the Knight.
Being someone who loves women, I quickly snapped the female Knight's neck so she wouldn't have to see the slaughter I was about to create. With ease I launched myself towards the healer, his massive beard covered his shocked expression as I disembowelled him. The other party members looked at me with terror in their eyes, it feels good to be so bad. A huge smile was etched across my face as I murdered.
I know, I know, cliche. But it was extremely badass, anyway, after killing the healer, I ripped his head off and threw it with all my might towards the rogue that they had. Like a watermelon with tonnes of elastic bands around it, the rogue's head exploded as it collided with my makeshift projectile.
"Score! 100 points!"
Once the Rogue had died, I pulled out a blood sword and slashed towards the Mage with a lot of force, as soon as it hit the Mage it turned into a liquid again,
"What the Hell?!"
I reformed the sword and slashed out again, just like before it turned back to blood, ah maybe it's because he is a player. That's annoying, maybe because this skill is really good it won't work on players. I mean, the skill is pretty game breaking, I can make anything I want from blood on the battle field. It would make sense the devs nerfed me. Darn I thought I could get away with being amazing.
Either way, this Mage was going to die. He had fallen down from the impact of me hitting him and was whimpering on the floor, the rich really are weak. Quickly slashing out with my claws, I ripped open his neck and walked away whilst wiping the blood from my claws.

Hmph, over halfway to me next Level, I would need to kill like 5 or 6 more people to Lv up, this would be very easy. I may have found the meta to levelling up, most people wouldn't do this because they are all rich people that were able to buy the game early, of course there are sadistic people that will hunt others; but they don't count as people. Wait do I count as a person? Am I now just a piece of programming? Do I really exist?
Jeez, what are with those thoughts, it was almost like I was having character development for a bit, questioning my existence and stuff. But seeing as that only happens in books, I should be fine.
With a genius thought I tried to make the players into my minions.

Gosh darn, I was hoping I could make them into minions, oh well, time for killing.
With a new spring in my step and more XP in my pocket, I set off to kill more people. I will level up before the day is over.
After a few hours, I found another party, quite similar to the one I had killed before, of course I killed them without the mercy that I gave the female knight. They were all killed cruelly, not a single woman in the group, disappointing. I spat on their corpses with disgust, truly terrible.
Luckily one of them was a Lv4 and the rest Lv3s so a nice blue prompt filled my vision.

That's amazing! I can literally teleport, in later levels I'll be able to move any distance in any time, this truly is great.
I can put this to use, frantically running around for something to kill, I found a pretty big panther.
Lv10 Panther Region Jack
HP 40/40
What on earth is a Jack? Maybe it's a Named beast? Either way it's gonna die.
I used blink and appeared behind it, the ability felt weird. It was like I was displacing my own atoms then they were carried to another place. I feel icky, but I'll probably get used to it. Pulling out my sword, I chopped off the panthers tail with a smile on my face. Unfortunately for the beast, it wasn't a player and therefore I could kill it with my sword.
After the tail went flying and blood sprayed from the wound, I formed ten swords out the the splatter and shoved them towards the panther with [Blood Manipulation]. Each one pierced a different piece of the Panther's torso, there is no way it can win. Everything I just did occurred in like 4 seconds, no one can compare. The panther let out a final dying roar as the meagre XP flew towards me, that was boring.
I'm gonna keep walking through this forest, maybe I'll find something interesting.
