Chapter 2: Chapter 2 (The OP Troupe)

Everything else that would normally occupy a person's thoughts weren't present in Gale's mind. All he wanted to do was get the hell out of the palace and out of the princes reach because for some reason that he overlooked because he couldn't care to be bothered about anything other than his survival.

On his way out of the royal palace. The status checker in his pocket began to vibrate. He took it out curiously. Activating it with a touch, the screen came to life. It was there he saw some of his information.

Name: <Gale Thomas>

Age: <16>

<MAP> <MESSAGE [1]> <REWARDS>

Physique: <Elemental Blessed Body>

Skill (Active): <Six Directional Sense>

Bloodline: <????>

Agility: <30>

*Buffering*

Gale was astonished. It seemed that he wasn't weak at all. His cheats were just lagging due to his status checker buffering as it was going through an update process. But something caught his eye. The Message tab was blinking. He tapped it out of curiosity. When he read it he felt shocked.

Dear Mr. Thomas

Sorry, the summoning was only supposed to bring two of you. Normally we wouldn't get involved but the summoning had been tampered with. Which gave us the right to do a little tampering/meddling of our own. Most of your stats haven't stabilized yet. But their isn't enough time for an indepth explanation. Once you reach the side gate. Wait for your 'Guide', to look away and run straight. Follow the map and stop where the map says. Do this as your life is in danger. It is also a kind of test of sorts. There's even a reward to be 'Generous'.

Sincerely yours,

Goddess of Nature, Gaia

Gale suddenly could feel or rather sense things in all six directions. Front, Back, Left, Right, Up and surprisingly Down. Sadly he didn't have time to contemplate everything because all of a sudden he found himself at a side gate that had to be unlocked and relocked by hand by using a runic code.

As soon as he had been allowed to walk through a side gate, that was situated in a large wall that blockaded what appeared to be a Rock garden meant for meditation. From the outside side world. From a glance one could see that it was used by several people at a time. Most likely by the palace staff. It had large rocks placed oddly about the garden. The rocks themselves had their tops perfectly cut flat. Placed there were meditation cushions for meditation purposes.

As he stepped through the gate his guide said, "A moment sir". His guide was in a butler uniform. One thing that stood out about him was not only his short stature, but the neatly trimmed chest long beared. 'A Dwarf', Gale almost exclaimed. Sadly there wasn't any time to comment on meeting his first nonhuman. The Dwarf had just turned around to pull the gate shut and Gale bolted with a burst. As he took off towards the left. At the same time, there seemed to be a blast of wind propelling him forward, faster. He ran, aiming for the only entrance/exit of what seemed to carry the scent of rot. It was where the oink prince tossed his so called garbage. Reacting slowly the Dwarf butler called out, "No, get back here"!

As Gale passed through the alley he heard what the Dwarf said and called out in return, "The hell I will shorty"! Just as the words left his mouth. His skill reacted as he detected killing intent directed towards him from behind. Suddenly something told him to tilt his head to the side.

The next second a glowing knife pierced the air, shooting past him and embedded itself in a building located across from the alley. 'Crap', he wanted to curse as he realized that he would have died if not for his skill. Once out of the alley he found himself on an upscale street just like any other he'd find back in his original world. Instead of taking in the sights before him. He instead took out his Status Checker. Tapped on the MAP tab and a image of the capitol's map appeared in front of his eyes.

As he moved, an icon that looked like a green pin was moving along with him. 'Guess our two world's are not so different', Gale thought as he observed not just the map. But also the people he'd passed on the street. There were humans, elves, few dwarves and beast-kin. Unlike beastmen, who were fundamentally animals that walked on hind legs with sentient levels of intelligence. Beast-kin, were humans with animal like features. Mainly ears and tails. But other than the nonhuman races he noticed while in full sprint. The clothing they wore was remarkably similar to what people wore back on earth, which gave rise to the question, 'No fantasy garmet Troupes'? He was kind of hoping for that at least. Gale was your average teen, but with sound morals.

As he ran, passing through intersection after intersection. Gale still had the feeling that the murderous little dwarf was still in pursuit. "You'll not escape me"! The voice of said dwarf rang out. Drawing the attention of everyone on the sidewalk's on both sides of the street. His voice even echoed off of the towering buildings that loomed over everything.

'Persistant migit', Gale couldn't help but think as he ran past people. Dodging them without having to take his eyes off of the map. 'Damn, this skill is kinda OP. It let's me know what's all around me for twenty yard's. Also, any items like flying knives get spotted instantly, not to mention anything like hostility can't be hidden from this skill'!

He was nearing the destination, the buildings had gone from an upper class kinda feel. To a busy shopping district. People were taking notice of a human with slightly different make of clothes running from an angry dwarf with a dagger in full display. The intent to kill plainly obvious.

Several of the people out and about were confused by the sight. Others seemed to have a clue as to what was going on. They had a disgusted look on their faces while looking at the sprinting dwarf. The chase continued for almost half an hour. When Gale finally came to a stop he was at the final destination displayed on the map. He turned around and saw the dwarf had caught up. He'd slowed down and was slowly making his way towards Gale.

"Finally done running", the Dwarf said with a twisted grin.

Gale looked down at the map, "Guess so".

Just as the Dwarf was about to attack, an elated feminine voice called out, "Look at you, boldly crossing the line of the palace walls and chasing an innocent around with intent to commit murder".
