Even though Kai had gotten angry earlier, he had learnt already that there may be figures far stronger than himself waltzing around in the world. Furthermore, it was unlikely Aethereom would bail him out again.

"Hey, dipshit!" Kai yelled out. He absolutely didn't have the bearing of a true warrior, but he finally had some armour which still gave him some confidence. He also thought his sword was incredibly impressive and wanted to use it as fast as possible.

"What kind of undead are you to have a personality of your own?" Number Three mused. It seemed he didn't even acknowledge Kai's swearing.

Seeing him not even register their presence after his taunting words, Clamour was the first one to act. He was a veteran and knew that matters would be worse for the duo if he let this Cursed Number escape.
