Chapter 4: IT'S ALL BECAUSE OF YOU!

The people who believed in the holy church's sayings acted like they were blind. They did not care about the atrocities the holy church had commited, or more like, they purposefully did not think or try to know about these atrocities as they were afraid it would shake their belief. And what would their belief wavering lead to? Most probably contempt from other believers or death depending in which kingdom they lived in.

The holy church condemned prostitution, but it's priests regularly visited brothels.

But of course, the holy church did try to hide it's misdeeds and act divine. But it was not really hard to find out about their deeds.

But, it was not like the holy church and it's followers were all bad.

There were some priests and believers who followed the teachings of the holy church faithfully. They did not eat meat or hurt animals.
