Chapter 8: Chapter 8: Fug!!! (Not Edited)
"Listen Savania, we just met and still have to get to know each other, and I'm not gonna lie to you, you look smoking hot and I'm sure that if I wasn't 'cursed' I'd agreed to your request for marriage in a heartbeat, so let's take things slow okay." I don't know why I just said those lines but I felt that I had to say something.
Savania looked at me in shock for a few seconds before blooming with a happy smile and said."While since you said that you would have agreed to the marriage if your curse was broken then you better hurry up, so that we can get married."
Wait, how does that relate to us getting married after I get my body in 'Shape'…
Oh shit, I see where she could get that idea from what I said.
Well, let's just go with the flow for now
We entered the cafeteria and ordered our lunch while having a light conversation about our likes, dislikes and hobbies.
While we were talking, we could hear people whispering about us, but we just ignored them like thin air.
"So you enjoy music as well, but what type of genre of music do you like the most?" Savania asked me while we were walking towards an empty table at the right side of the cafeteria close to the windows.
"Hmm, if I had to pick a genre of music that I like the most it would have to be.." I struggled to pick the genera of music that I liked the most since I would listen to nearly all genres of music as each type would have a different effect on a person, example: Let's say a person was listening to a Rock song that made you feel like you were in the zone in what every you where doing, but that effect can only last so long, so naturally, you would want to look for another song with the same effect. Hence my struggle for picking the genera that I like the most since each genera has its perks and effects in its own right.
I looked at Savania while pondering how I should answer her question.
"Well If I had to choose a genera I'll have to say all of them as each genera has its own special place in my heart." Yep, that was the answer that popped up in my head while pondering on the answer, and I got to say I'm chuffed with it.
Savania looked at me with a blank expression on her face and said "You like all genres?" When she replayed back to my answer she had this tone in her voice that sounded like she couldn't believe that was my answer.
"Yeah, I mean if you think about it, all songs are special in their own right but that doesn't mean you don't get bad songs that would make your ear drums bleed and make you feel like if you could get a hold of the person who made the song you would make sure that you removed his vocals to ensure that another atrocity of a song would never appear again." While I was giving her my explanation about why I like all genres of music, I got sidetracked due to a song I recently heard that made my eardrums bleed, the voice sounded like it came from the depth of hell to just torture a person's soul and ear drums.
"What, Wait, so you like all genres due to the fact that each genre has a special spot in your heart?" Savania looked in disbelief when she heard my reason. "I mean, look there's nothing wrong with liking all genres of music but there has to be at least one genera that you prioritize before any other genera right?"Savania insisted that there must be at least one genera that listen to before any other one, and to be honest there was one but I would never mention the name even if my life was on the line, nope, never going to happen. "Nope, sorry, I listen to all types of music but shuffled so I never know what's going to play next." I had to come up with an excuse while making it sound natural.
Savania blinked her eyes a few times and sighed."Fine if you say so. Let's change the topic to something more interesting like who you have a crush on or better yet when are you going to introduce me to your parents and sibling?" I felt happy when she decided to drop the topic about music but the next moment, I wished she continued, because she mentioned something outrageous.
I couldn't help but twitch my mouth while thinking but how I should answer her.
"Savania, I don't have a crush on anyone, and I don't think it wouldn't be wise to introduce you to my parents nor my sister yet as I would prefer to introduce you to them, once I have this 'curse' broken." I had to make up another excuse in hope of she would drop the subject.
"So you don't even have a slight crush on me?" Savania asked me while poutings.
"Eh, I mean, yeah I might have a slight crush on you since your hot and have a great personality, who wouldn't have a crush on you" When I heard her sad voice and saw her pouting face when she mentioned that I don't have a slight crush on her, I just for some unexplained reason just said what was in my heart at that moment.
Hold on, won't this make things, even more, worse for myself, Fug!!
"Really you mean it?" Savania asked while having sparkles in her eyes.
I had no choice but to just go with what I said early on. Just by looking at her eyes filled with happiness when I said
"Eh, yeah totally, I meant what I said when I said I have a slight crush on you."
Savania beamed with happiness and energy after hearing what I said.
"Good, that means you have an interest in me and that might expand into love which can later result in us getting married and then... etc." Savania started rambling on about how many kids we should have and what names they must have and etcetera.
'Fug!!! What type of can of worms did I just open'
