Chapter 3: tied up
inks and a sharp pain jutting in her head as if she got slammed by a hammer. she tried to open her eyes but everything was dark. She couldn't see anything. Either they had taken her eyes out or she was blindfolded but she didn't felt any pain in her eyes so she must be blindfolded.
she tried to remember what tragedy happened to her when all the events from before started folding in her mind.
she was kidnapped. God knows which fucking mafia dared to lay their hands on the young miss of the Zhangs. maybe she got captured by the Greece mafia or worst of all Nigerian mafia.
'oh no..noo. I would love to be captured by the Greeks than captured by those filthy Nigerians.
Nigerian mafia was the ugliest mafia from their deeds to their looks. they were criminals who kidnapped innocent girls and traded them to other countries as sex slaves. if I got kidnapped by them then I am doomed. but their chances are less as they didn't interact with our mafia that much. then can it be?

yes! I am sure I got kidnapped by the Lius, our sworn enemy. an enemy who wants to suck up all the bloodline of the Zhangs. this rivalry started years ago when the head of the Zhangs, in short, my great great great great grandfather kidnapped and forced himself on the only daughter of the Lius, the only heir this enmity got worse and later he was killed and my great great great great grandmother returned to the Lius. later she born the illegitimate son who she despised and left to the Zhangs and got married to another man. that son of her wasn't an exception either. he continued the enmity as if it was the family tradition. since generations, there were sons born and no daughter. well, they never even cared as sons could do better than girls. but then I was born and I was the only daughter of my parents and thus the only heir. so she was 99.9% that Lius were behind this. but do they wanted from her? are they planning to bring my family down through me? do they think I am their weakness?
' well, Zhangs are not weaklings like them to fall on their knees just for a girl...hump. even if my parents don't help me I don't care. I will be happy if they don't care about me and don't fall in their trap'
She tried to get up from the hard floor when she felt a sharp pain starting from her wrists up to her shoulders. she groaned in pain but only muffled noise came out because she was gagged too. Her hands were tied roughly on her back not giving her hands and inch to move and so with her legs. Her legs were so numb from being tied that she thought that they cut off her legs. Maybe they injected some drug in her legs to make them numb on purpose so that she couldn't run away. Even then she peeked at her legs cause these Lius couldn't be trusted. They were capable of doing anything but thank God her legs were there attached to her body. She heaved a sigh of relief.
No matter how much she moved she couldn't. She he was helplessly wriggling on the floor like a pitiful fish. The more she moved the sharper the pain was. Her headache has gotten worse too God knows what sedative they injected in her.
It was too painful.
Are these Lius trying to take there revenge by slowly torturing her to death?
Mom dad would be so worried. I don't know how long I was unconscious. Whether it was midnight or the next day. she began to think about some escape route when suddenly her inner voice came.
'oh come on you bitch' look at your tied up self and you want to escape. Tsk..how overconfident even when end is near. even my inner voice was mocking me. Telling me how weak I look now.I hate being weak and moreover being weak in front of my enemy.
But it's impossible to escape from these cursed Lius. All of my spies that I sent to their base never returned. They all were skilled just like me. looking at how cleverly they kidnapped me under strict security watch they wouldn't be a fool to let their efforts go in vain and leave me in some open area with some goons.
I must be in some warehouse much worse in a torture chamber of a 10 feet underground dungeon. obviously, it's heavily guarded and I well was aware of this situation. there won't be any escape for me just like there was no escape for my prisoners from my clothes. And now I was lin Liu's clutches.
I was shrunk in my thoughts when I heard some footsteps somewhere near me. They became loud with passing time and halted somewhere near me. They must be goons to keep a watch on me.
"I still don't get it. Boss was doing this much efforts since years just to capture a mere girl. Dude she's doomed" a voice came.
'Years? Were they after me for years? Were they after me since I was born?'
"don't think of her lightly. You don't know she's the name of which evil." The second man chuckled playfully.
'This voice!'
'It's very familiar....'

Why did he betray me? Why? I trusted him so much...
'Ughh, that damned traitor' she gritted her teeth.
Then someone came and his hands went below my knees and back. He was holding me up in a bridal style.
"she's not that heavy" a familiar voice spoke.
Kai was holding me.
I felt the urge to smash my head on his nose but couldn't even move.
'Just you wait how I roast you later'
Then as if he thought it was too much for hostage he decided to be harsh and plunged me rudely on his shoulder. his hard muscles dig into my stomach. It felt as if my organs were crushed. It's was definitely the effect of drug or I wasn't that someone to feel pain in one move. I gasped in pain.
"she's awakening up. I heard her gasp" Kai said hurriedly.
"hold her" the other man spoke.
then came a heavy blow came on my stomach.
"hmmm" I groaned in pain through my gagged mouth.
Why did he punch me? I was already in so much fucking pain.
"you are so cold Evans.." the Kai man complained in a grumpled tone but there was not a hint of sympathy. he slightly moved me on his shoulder so that I don't slip when scream escaped my gagged mouth due to pain in my abdomen.
"oh, sorry miss" Kai chuckled again.
the pain was so sharp that my head felt bewildered. I couldn't take it anymore and I lost into the world of darkness.
